Pangea order from hell

Pangea order from hell…

I ordered 2xl sandblasted ghost wood. Spent total of $130

Ordered: 01/18
“Delivered”: 01/22 10:40am
Reached out: 01/22 11:24am

Order was marks delivered and in the photo is NO WHERE I recognize… at all.. so within like 2 hours of delivery I emailed them saying that my package was marked delivered but I don’t recognize anything in the delivery photo at all and that I checked with my 1 neighbor (I live on acreage) and he doesn’t have it either.. I also send them pictures of where the package SHOULD have been delivered…

They email back saying the photo shows a fence… (there are a lot of these around here.. out here is farm land.. animals and crops..) and sends me the delivery photo (that I already had)

I say again that I don’t recognize anything and that I do HAVE a gate (everyone does out here) but it was open because I was expecting a delivery.

They email me back again with a photo of where it was delivered and asked me once again if I recognize anything in the photo…

I email back (again) saying that I don’t recognize anything in the photo…and I acknowledge this time plain as day that I’ve seen the photo..

They then email me back (and I’m going to copy and paste this one)..

“Mackenzie, I just spoke to UPS< based on the GPS is sounds like the accidentally delivered to 3407, could you check with that neighbor? I've also filed a complaint about the misdelivery.

You see that? Yes that’s them saying I in fact did NOT get my package. It was delivered to someone else. However unfortunately in this case… it was not delivered to my neighbor.. I only have 1 neighbor.. and he has no use for sandblasted ghost wood lol..

So I email them saying that that’s the neighbor I asked and that they didn’t get it either I also said that the driver at that point would have had to deliver it in a ditch and I let him know that basically everything out here (and within 5 min drive) is just crops and animals.

So at this point I had to go out and get the wood myself.. and since they admitted I didn’t get it I figured a refund wouldn’t be far fetched.. (was gunna just use the refund to get the wood somewhere else)

So I asked if there was anyway I could get a refund or store credit and I mentioned that I had more sand blasted ghost wood to buy just a different sizes.. (I’m doing 4 tanks. The XL were for one tank but XL won’t fit in the other tanks)

They emailed you back saying that I had to wait five days to see if it would turn up And then if it doesn’t they will send a replacement.

So I’m emailed back saying that  I don’t mind giving another five days to show up (even though there is a delivery photo that clearly states they dropped it off somewhere and they’ve already admitted that it’s not to me) so I asked if it doesn’t show up can I get store credit for the other sizes that I need or does it have to be a replacement?

They emailed back saying policy is same item.

At this point, I’m asking that if they send me a re-shipment if I ship it back, can I get a store credit or a refund? (since at this point, I’ve already let them know that I had to go get the wood myself, and I have other sizes to buy. In good faith cause they claim this is a delivery error)

They say “we cannot do that returns for correct items are store credit only”

That threw me a bit.. but honestly stuff wasn’t starting to make sense. Them reshipping and me shipping back wastes everyone’s time and money.. cause labels, packing supplies.. dropping off at post office and waiting for delivery 2x. But ok…

So even though all that’s happening in good faith, I placed another order for the sizes of wood that I do need and some leaf litter.. assuming all is well because they’re claiming it was a delivery error and admitted I did not get the package…

I placed my new order 01/25 at 3:19pm
They canceled it 01/25 9:19pm

So at this point, I’ve disputed the 130 because how are you to offer me your reshipment.. I ship it back for store credit.. how would I use that store credit if I can’t even place an order…. That’s just you keeping my money and admitting I didn’t get my items. 🫠🫠

Come on Pangea… I had high expectations from you guys.. I mean I would have even settled for store credit so I mean it’s not like I was pushing hard for a refund… you guys were keeping my money anyways 😂

Great website and team,for my birthday…

Great website and team,for my birthday I got the crested gecko kit(sadly the gecko died but that was not their fault) and they sent me a replacement(didn't make it because of a hemipene infection again not their fault) but through the whole thing they were nothing but kind and helpful 5 stars I would recommend.
