I have been using the Parasym device for around four years to help with the ME/chronic fatigue symptoms & found it to help as part of a range of treatments.
Recently my symptoms have been getting worse & I realised recently that the wires to the earpiece had broken, possibly due to me using them lying down in bed, and so am looking forward to my replacements to arrive.
When I have contacted Parasym to comment on the equipment failure they have been prompt in replying & organising a resolution.
Parasym have not resolved my problem, when the replacements arrived they are for the Nurosym model and do not fit mine so no use. I was told they no longer supply spares for a £600 device & I would have to spend the same again on a new Nurosym, unbelievable, simply taking advantage of vulnerable people.

I started using Nurosym after my shoulder surgery to support healing, and it quickly became a daily essential. It helps me feel balanced in the morning, and whenever I’m stressed, I put it on for instant relaxation.

I bought the Nurosym device via Parasym. I used it daily for a month. It worked well (HRV went up, and I felt calmer/drowsy), but I quickly developed an itchy bruise on my tragus—turns out I’m allergic to the metal. After letting my skin heal and trying again, the reaction came back immediately.

I was disappointed because I liked the device, but my body just couldn’t tolerate it. Thankfully, the return process was smooth. The customer service was responsive and understanding, and I got my refund within days.

It’s a great product if your skin can handle it, but sadly, it wasn’t for me.

I have been using the Parasym device for 10 months now. I was sceptical at first when I saw the advert and didn’t know how this would improve my health. The device is easy to use, although it may take some time to get used to the higher settings. I have seen a significant rise in my HRV score which I follow on my Garmin watch. Overall, I feel there’s been big benefits from using the device including better quality of sleep and feeling more relaxed.

I have been using the Parasym unit for several years and have found it incredibly beneficial. It helps me relax deeply and has noticeably improved the quality of my sleep. I have been using the Nurosym since April this year in the hope that it would help me understand my ME/CFS symptoms better, and I find it brilliant for tracking my energy expenditure, and for understanding what kinds of activities can result in me having lower energy levels or more symptoms. 

I have found that it helps me feel more in control of my health, in that I can track my pace points during the week, and make adjustments depending on what I have to get done that week. 

It has also made me aware of not just physical activity impact, but also cognitive and mental activity impact, which means that I can make different choices in how I sequence those things, and make sure I have recovery time in between.

It has also given me a big 'a-ha!' moment about the role of infections in my symptom levels, and how I often conflate infection or inflammation symptoms from external factors with ME/CFS symptoms. It has led to me putting much more emphasis on treating these things, and so the number of days that I feel well has increased.

The biggest impact that this new level of awareness has been that I am now having more days when I feel a lot better than my usual baseline, because I'm using the information from my Nurosym, and making better choices about rest and exertion.

I highly recommend this device to anyone needing relaxation techniques for better sleep quality.

So Parasym. I bought it because Brian Johnston said he used it and that guy is trying to live forever and I feel like I have wasted lots of time so getting to forever might not be that bad. First big paycheck I got I invested. It is not cheap butI like the idea of it.

I started using it in my day to day and it was okay. However when I used it during my meditation I suddenly felt like I was getting deeper faster, a greater senses of peace and just generally pretty amazing afterwards.

Now I use it before bed or on quiet walks etc. I know it sounds silly but it just makes me feel so much more relaxed. Expensive, Yes, Worth It, beyond measure. One of the best things I have every bought.

In my experience, the Parasym device is a groundbreaking tool for general wellness and performance enhancement. The benefits I’ve experienced include a measurable reduction in stress, improved recovery metrics (as measured by my Whoop), and an increased ability to focus or train for long periods of time. I don't like working late into the night, but when I have to, if I've used my device that day for an hour, I know the next morning will be a lot easier. The same goes with my training, and I'm confident it has played a role in allowing me to train as much as I do on top of my demanding job.

I own two other vagal nerve stimulation devices, and the benefits I experience from Parasym are both more consistent and impactful.

Obviously the product comes with a high price tag, but I think it’s worth the investment if you have the disposable income. For me this as an investment in wellbeing and productivity.
