I ordered a necktie from Gianni at Passaggio Cravatte and it arrived this morning. I can honestly it is the most beautiful tie I have ever seen. A sumptuous material and exquisite hand stitching!

It took a few weeks to arrive. Everything is hand made to order, but all emails were answered clearly and promptly. If you want something unique and beautiful to compliment a suit, I could recommend them enough.

Today I received my two amazing Passaggio Cravate ties; they are simply fabulous, perfectly tailored to my instructions. They looked even much naicer than in the website.

Never received the tie after 2 months.
Several contacts with Gianni and his staff but very poor assistance, with late or no reply at all to my requests to have an update about the shipping.
Apparently the shipping failed the delivery, it was returned and after two weeks it has not been resent yet.
I live in Milano, 50 km from Pavia, where the company operates: it is maybe easier if I popped in at Gianni's atelier and collect the tie myself.
I cannot express any opinion on the quality of the product, which is still a mystery to me at the moment.

After my first review the communication with Gianni improved significantly
I finally recived the tie. It matches the quality and the manifacture claimed in the website.
Overall, the purchase experience is fair enough.

The tie turned out to be smaller (8 cm) than what i ordered (9 cm). Aso, it takes quite a long time for the order to arrive but that’s not a big oroblem. The tie itself is beautuful though. I placed another order for 9 cm ties. I hope this time they will be the right size. Thank you

If you are not in a rush this is an absolutely beautiful handmade tie! Worth the wait and the quality is fantastic.

I order a single tie on July 25 and payment processed on August 12th. I was told that it takes 30 days to hand make the item. The order was ready for pickup on September 22. (40 days) It somehow took until October 6 to be “ready for shipping “ (54 days total) Ready for pickup but it takes 14 days to be “Ready for Shipping”. 7 days later it finally shipped. (61 days total) I have gotten two requests to review this product which I STILL haven’t received. This is a frustrating process. If it takes 2 months to manufacture, and ship please tell me. It’s shouldn’t be so slow once the item is ready for shipping. How does it take almost a month to be shipped?
November 1 and it apparently hasn’t left Italy yet.

I purchased numerous ties and more specifically a pasley tie. I don't know the anatomy of a tie yet the small end has a stitch. The stitch was incorrectly completed and the tie gathers a said point. I am not one to complain but I was in Jamaica a couple of days ago and wore the tie and was disappointed. I can have my assistant return so the area can be restitched, if the forwarding info is sent to me. E. Allen Smith

It's important to recognise that you are purchasing a handmade bespoke item, and this may mean that the delivery time is longer than expected. The items were shipped FedEx and arrived very quickly; packaging was sufficient. Emails were answered about the status of the order, usually with around a 48-hour turnaround.

I don't remember exactly how I got to know Passagio Cravatte, but the choice of fabric as well as the level of details compelled me to make a sudden (and exploratory) purchase to which I found out how much I enjoy an unlined tie now. Absolutely stunning from looks, cut, feel. I can see many more purchases to come in the future.

Note: While I'm not one to fuss over the delivery time, I do think it's fair to point out that since Passaggio Cravatte is a small business with a goal to beautify your neck and not the virtual wallet, there's isn't a rush to achieve minimum delivery time, which can be an off-putting point for some. However, I'd encourage others to be patience, since that's the origin of things in general.

The quality of the materials and craftsmanship are superb. It js a pleasure doing business with Passagio Cravatte.

Ordered two ties. Received two pieces of silk with tie-like qualities. Two months for delivery was bad enough the fact that they are both unfinished is what has me upset and disappointed. Handmade is exactly that, handmade- I expect imperfections but not unfinished product. Lining almost non existent and missing the stitching that holds the tie together at the bottom of the folds. Paid for extra folds and quicker service and not happy. I have been buying some of the best silk ties from all over Europe for over 40 years and these aren't close to what I was expecting.

Replying to vendors reply. If this app could take photos it would be obvious the ties bottom were not sewn. In what world would I want to wear ties that completely open up it defies logic? I don’t need or care to make false statements when I have the proof. I can provide photos. I wasn’t looking for machine made nor a deal. I paid a fair price for handmade and received incomplete work. As I explained in one my several emails to you I wear a suit and tie every day and was looking for fair trade not aggravation nor a lecture.

I have placed the order on 13th of July, as for today (22nd of September) I still did not get the order.

I have paid to the company extra to get it delivered faster, however, 39 days after the order was placed and I sent email on why it was not sent yet, I was provided with information that they were on the holiday.

This is completely unacceptable, if you cannot provide service on time, you don’t take extra money, or inform people.

As for now it has been 50 working days, and nothing delivered yet.

My ties finally arrived after 2 1/2 months - one word review: “meh”

I guess I don’t appreciate 100 year old Italian tailoring, because these ties are nice, but definitely not worth spending $144 each and waiting 2 1/2 months for delivery. I wear smart attire to the office every day, and have about 150 ties, and these ties, with no lining and thin fabric, do not stand out. Just a lot of hype.

You are asking me to review two ties I ordered on July 9th - it is now September 14th and the ties still have not arrived. According the email I received at the end of August with the tracking number, the ties were shipped from Milan on August 31st, so it took almost 7 weeks to ship the ties, and they have been in US Customs processing since September 6th. I don't know how this company labels it packages for shipment, but I order from multiple other European-based companies, and all other times the packages go through Customs in 1 or 2 days. Maybe if I ever receive the ties, I will change my review.

Highest quality tie that I’ve seen. The craftsmanship is second to none and Gianni is a true professional.
