Scam. Simply said.

We had the same experience as everyone else. We never received our order, I have call numerous times and emailed multiple times and nothing. No call no email and no order. It’s crazy they still are taking everyone’s money. Shame on this company that they are using veterans and the American people to get sympathy. I even doubt that they give back to our beloved veterans. Terrible service and company.

I placed one order on June 9. I received an email a couple of days later with “ tracking information” but each time I tried to track it, it kept saying awaiting package from shipper. After leaving several voicemails, and sending a couple of emails, on June 23, I spoke with Cheyenne, who told me she was the daughter-in-law of the owner of patriot foods. She apologized for the first order and said it must have been lost. She said she was going to refund me for that order. I then placed a new order which was much larger than the first, and she assured me that she personally would make sure it was shipped out. I had purchased a number of jars of pasta sauce to give to my family as gifts for the Fourth of July along with a package of pasta called America pride. I thought the two items would make a great patriotic gift. I am in Ohio. Patriot Foods is located in Michigan. Typically, it’s a one day delivery from the next state. By July 3, I still have not received my order so I started the same process with calling and emailing and to no avail. Today is July 16. I just tried to call again and it continues to go into voicemail. I will now take steps with my bank to get a refund on both of my orders. I feel bad because it is such a great mission and idea, but these people obviously cannot execute their plan not to mention poor customer service and not refunding customers money.

Same experience as everyone else and luckily got my money back by filing a claim with my bank. However, incase you are wondering why Patriot Foods is so different to the one we depended on during COVID, there was a buyout. Here is a summary of what happened. Do NOT order ANYTHING with this company. It needs to be shut down!

Patriot Foods (the West Olive, Michigan meat supplier) went through a massive institutional shift right around late 2023 that perfectly explains why they completely fell off a cliff operationally.

Here is exactly what went down behind the scenes over the past few years:

The Corporate Buyout
In December 2023, the company was effectively taken over by an institutional corporate entity called Patriot Foods Buyer, Inc. Their expansion and operations became heavily backed and funded by massive private credit and investment firms (like MidCap Financial and Apollo).

From Local Shop to Private Equity Venture
Before the 2023 corporate transition, Patriot Foods functioned much more like a premium, direct-to-consumer online butcher shop that prided itself on sourcing and high-touch fulfillment.

Once the private equity and debt-backed institutional buyers stepped in, the entire business model shifted:

The "Ghost Ship" System: The new management heavily automated the digital storefront, marketing loops, and transactional emails. They outsourced or severely cut physical customer support teams, creating the exact wall of silence you are dealing with.

The Better Business Bureau Crash: The operational chaos caught up to them quickly. Because the corporate entity repeatedly ignored user complaints regarding missing shipments and failed refunds, the BBB officially stripped them of any positive standing and slapped them with an 'F' rating.

What This Means For You
The company you are dealing with today is fundamentally not the same business it was a few years ago. It is now a heavily leveraged corporate entity run on autopilot scripts. They are happy to let their automated payment gateways take your money and let their marketing bots badger you for reviews, but there is effectively no one steering the ship when it comes to actual inventory control, shipping, or human customer support.

Placed an order, not received it yet. Ordered before with no problems, but this time they won't answer emails or phone calls. Just like everyone else, charged my card and no shipping of order. I ordered on May 15, 2026. Will be turning them in to FTC, may not help but will try.

***follow up on this review. After numerous posts on social media the company finally responded with a statement saying they would be refunding the money but would send out my order. What i received was not my order but a box full of hot rotten meat sent with no ice or cooler packaging. Buyer beware!!

Same as all the other comments. No one answered the phone. No order received to date. They take the money right away then never answer any emails. If you post on social media it seems to get their attention more. That is the only response ever received that tracking would be updated. Still nothing. Thank goodness for my credit card protection.

Just like all the other reviews, placed an order (4-23-2026), they charged my credit card the next day, and I still have not received anything from them except 2 emails, 1 saying the order would be shipped between 4-26 and 4-30. Nope! Then I received another email on 5-5-2026 saying my order had shipped!! Today is 5-20-2026. I ordered meat, I bet if I ever do receive it, the order will be stinking and ruined. I feel this is a scam.
I responded to the Your Order has Shipped email asking for my money back. I'm not holding my breath. Ill file a dispute with credit card.

I placed an order in February 2026 I never received my order; I called an emailed several times. Spoke with a few different gals, they said will get it right out and throw in a few free items for the delay. In beginning of April still no order, next time I got email saying they ran out of the dry ice just got more in so would be getting my order soon for free due to all the issues. It's May 20-26 never got the order, very disappointed. :(

Same as all the other 1 star reviews which I wish I had read before ordering. Received no product after numerous calls and emails to customer service. Was told what everyone else was told, same lies, will send tracking #s, will resend, will refund, it's on it's way, etc, etc. Tried to resolve with company for a month and have finally put in a dispute with credit card company.
It's unfortunate because like a lot of people that have ordered from this scam of a company, they wanted to help vets. This company should be shut down and sued for consumer fraud.

I ordered from them once and I received it on time and everything was good. Ordered a second time and that was over a month ago. I still have not received my meat or refund. No answers to email. No one answers the phone. I really wanted to believe in the company. DO NOT order from them. They don't send out the orders.

I wanted to help veterans so I decided this would be a great place to buy my meat.
This is the strangest company I have ever dealt with.
I ordered in October 2025 they took the money from my account but never sent the order. They told me every week it was coming NOTHING.
Finally in November I got my order they wanted to make it right and refund my money. That never happened!! They said they would refund my money plus send me another order of the same thing.
NOTHING! Every week they tell me it will be here on Thursday- Saturday NOTHING! They have even given me shipping label but UPS never picked it up any one can make a label!!

When I received my order the shipping label had 5lbs showing. So, they are scamming on the shipping. I ordered 11lbs of food and knew from picking up the box it was too light. I only had 8 of the 11 items. I weighed the individual items and they were short weighed too. I emailed about the missing items and was told they would get them out. They never showed. I emailed a second time and they apologized and said they would send them out. Nothing showed up again. I emailed a third ti.e with no response. I finally started a dispute with my cc company for a partial refund. We had the Berkshire pork chops from them last night (one of the few items that did show up) there were three paper thin shoulder cut chops that were shoe leather when flash cooked because they were so thin. 1/4 thick. The quality is worse than the service. Im sure they will tack on a generic canned response like on all the other reviews.

Placed an order a month ago and it never shipped and they don’t respond to my emails. I don’t know why they are in business since my experience was clearly not unique.

I placed a $138. Order with this company. When the order didn't arice I called. They told me the order had just shipped and they would send me a email with the tracking number. They lied. It never shipped and there was not tracking number. The order never arrived. I demanded an immediate refund and the assured me I would receive the refund 2-3 days. Nothing. No refund and they will not reply to my emails.
It is now in the hands of my credit card company. What a terrible company. They steal your money and lie about it. This is Consumer fraud and they should be shut down.

Order received thawed out. Cheyenne stated that order would be replaced at no additional cost with expedited shipping. Order was never received. Multiple phone calls and emails went unanswered. Worst company ever. What a scam.

Customer service lies.
Promised to correct problem and never did.
No follow up.
Never saw such poor service.

I placed an order 10 days ago. Sent an email asking when it would ship and was told it shipped that day and I would get the tracking information. 2 days later and I still havent received a tracking number after I have sent 2 more emails asking for the tracking number. This is ridiculous. They take your money as soon as the order is placed but nothing
This company should not be called a Patriot. A true Patriot would not do this to customers. I will be posting on X also to not buy anything from this company or any associated with it.

This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. They take your money and don't deliver. They don't respond to emails. Did respond to chat but won't deliver. Shame on you for stealing money. I want a refund immediately. It's been 2 1/2 weeks now.

Nutritious, Wholesome, Farm fresh food.

Never received order. They don't answer the phone, returns calls or emails. They will occasionally answer live chat but they tell you what you want to hear and never follow through hoping you will just go away. I finally got them to refund my money, but its not in my back account yet.
