We had the drive done,and the work and…
We had the drive done,and the work and the finish was brilliant,we love it. We also had new gate posts and gate fitted,we had a few problems with this the quality of the gate was terrible it rough timber after one day the gate warped and wouldn’t shut.We spoke to the office and was very apologetic and said they would sought it, after a couple of weeks we eventually got a new gate a lot better quality and we are happy with the finished product. Thank you to everyone who for the work completed especially Paul who sorted out our gate.

Really unhappy and customer service is dreadful
Would not recommend ... typical full on sales pitch, it seemed like they were doing a good job but did appear rushed. Aftermath: I had concrete in my drains (they blocked and when a camera was put down I was told concrete had been put in the drains) I had to spend ages persuading PDGR to clear it at which point they took advantage of a sales opportunity to get another £500 out of me to clean the driveway!!! I then reported the staining coming through and the weeds and they have just ignored me!!! Will NEVER use them again and if somebody asked me I would say don't do it. A HUGE sum of money was spent and I look at the large area I had done with great disappointment everyday - whilst picking weeds out and watching the stains get worse!

We always aim to provide a high standard of service and post-installation care, and it’s disheartening to hear that you feel let down.
We would like to clarify a few points raised in your review.
Regarding the concrete in the drains, once the issue was brought to our attention as the installation was completed in November of 2022, we acted to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
We apologise for any delays or inconvenience caused during that process.
In relation to the additional £500 charge - this was not a sales tactic. The amount covered a full clean (jet washing) and reseal of the driveway over 170sqmt back in March of 2024 following visible spillages.
As outlined during our discussions at the time, these spillages were unrelated to the materials or workmanship of our installation and required treatment to prevent long-term staining and damage.
We’re sorry to hear that you’ve experienced further concerns such as staining and weed growth mentioned, airborne weeds, debris, or moss, are natural environmental factors all of this information is clearly outlined in your aftercare maintenance guide and guarantee, which also includes advice on regular upkeep to preserve the appearance and performance of your resin-bound surface.

The finished job looks terrific…
The finished job looks terrific especially the resin bond hard standing. One minor criticism, I had two dwarf boundary walls which would have been better done by one person as the finish is much better on one than the other. The main reason however why I only gave four out of five stars is because I was led to believe that they had done dropped kerbs in my area yet when I applied to the council for permission I was refused as this company did not have the correct qualifications. I now have to use a company on the approved list to finish the job.

I can't fault the men who laid our resin drive, From start to finish they were always polite, on time, efficient cleaned up after themselves, we were really pleased with the end result. A lovely job done.

A massive thank you to PD Groundworks. This company is truly customer focused. There is no hard sales, they listen to your needs and ensure a good customer journey throughout. As a female customer I felt in safe hands and was encouraged to ask questions and given full understandable explanations. I was even visited after completion to ensure I was happy with the results. In terms of the grounds work teams, I have never seen such hard working and dedicated staff, nothing is too much trouble, they were polite, considerate and unbelievably clean and tidy. My driveway is completely transformed. I have nothing but praise for this company. I have already received loads of compliments from neighbours and passers by. Driveway Redevelopment
I recently had a complete overhaul of my driveway completed by PD Groundworks & Resin after seeing them on Facebook.
The initial contact with the lady on the phone was simple - she was professional and polite.
The next stage was for a home visit by Richard to measure up and discuss options which allowed him to work out a quote. I found Richard to be a nice guy - there was no sales pitch, no pressure………..it was just this is who we are, this is what we do, this is why it’s good, that’s your price.
The guys who did the prep work and building were brilliant……..this was a big job which involved removing the old drive, building walls to extend the driveway, building news steps. We found the lads to be pleasant, polite, talked through their plans, tidied up each day, but they grafted and took pride in their work - the result shows in the end result.
I didn’t have any dealings with the guys who laid the resin as I was at work, but my wife tells me that the were efficient, and ultimately, they have done a good job.
Overall, I am very impressed with the end result and I’d have no hesitation in recommending this company to people.

Superb all through
The team doing the preparation work over the first two days were excellent which is not to say that the resin installers were not. It did take 3 days however and not the stated two by the salesman.
My only quibble was that the samples do not really represent the final product as a whole driveway.
It is superb though and very pleased.
My advice is for purchasers to see examples of the chosen surface either in person or photographs to avoid the possible colour variations

Professional, friendly and attentive team
From start to finish, this great team of professionals went the extra mile to accommodate changes requested; and ensured our drive is envy of our neighbours. The team on the ground for the pre work ie. uplifting old tarmac; building the foundation in prep for resin; and building of a garden wall (Nathan, Ben and Macaulay) worked tirelessly throughout. I was kept informed along the way; and they worked through challenges without fuss.
There was no pressure selling from the sales person (Aldo); and Joanne in the back office/finance team was also very helpful in getting queries directed to appropriate teams; and taking ownership of ensuring my queries were being addressed.

Upfront, honest, and delivered quality.
Our first interaction with PD Groundworks was with their representative, Kurt Waring, and I can’t stress enough how important that was for both my wife and me. From the outset, we never felt like we were being "sold to"—unlike some other companies we spoke with. Kurt clearly explained what the company could do and provided a competitive price, without any of the usual high-pressure tactics. There was no push to make a decision within 24 hours, no attempts to upsell us beyond the initial quote—just honest, straightforward communication. That, combined with a strong recommendation from a colleague, made choosing PDGR an easy decision.
They got us booked in within a couple of weeks and arrived promptly at the agreed time. The job itself was no small task—90 square metres of ground to be prepared and surfaced—but the team worked like a well-oiled machine. I don’t think I saw them take a single break, not even for lunch. Everyone knew exactly what they were doing, moving seamlessly from one task to the next. It was a proper display of professionalism, and they had the entire job finished in just four days.
Now, I realise the next bit is going to sound needlessly pedantic, but for anyone as particular as me, this might be useful. There’s one small area in the poured resin with a slight declination of 1.8 degrees over a three-metre span—somewhere that should, in theory, be perfectly level. Do I notice it? Yes. Do my wife, kids, or 99% of anyone else in the world? No. Is it worth knocking a star off for? Absolutely not. Had I spotted it and pointed it out during the job, I’ve no doubt they would have adjusted for it. Over 90 square metres of surface, that tiny 9-square-metre section is the closest thing I have to a complaint, and frankly, that’s hardly a complaint at all.
I’d recommend PDGR without hesitation, and we’re already planning to use them again for the back and side areas of our house. First-class work from start to finish.
