We asked Penny to be our wedding photographer and wow did she deliver! Everything from the pre day planning, wedding day walk around to confirm through to the actual photography was a master class.

Penny has the ability to mix photography styles: traditional wedding photography with a look focused on staged portraits with the couple and family, capturing key snaps from the ceremony and reception; and also photojournalism to find beauty in those in-between moments, movement, and the raw emotion found throughout the celebration.

Penny made it very easy for us on the day and quietly went about her business intermingling within the whole occasion.

Penny looked after a family do for my wedding anniversary 7 years ago with her characteristic warmth, good humour and professionalism. So of course I returned to Penny's capable hands in Oct 2024, to capture headshots in my professional role. Penny generously spent time with me in a London location where I was chairing an educational event; the candid shots were a prelude to the studio shoot 2 weeks later, and gave us both a sense of ease and spontaneity - it is remarkable how Penny can bring this out in a person! I very much enjoyed the studio shoot and more importantly Penny's engaging company. The 'final cut' of photos are simply...magic!

Having photos taken was not something I was looking forward to! I was recommended a few people but it was obvious both from her website and after meeting her that Penny was different. Her warmth was engaging and her enthusiasm infectious. But her desire to get the photos right for me and my business was what impressed me the most. And her decision to procure a red chair to match my boots!!! On the day itself she welcomed us into her studio and, although I was incredibly nervous, managed to put me at ease. I am amazed to say it but I actually enjoyed my experience with her - it felt like a team effort! The photos came out better than I was expecting. I don't know how she did it but I love them!

Penny took many amazing pictures on our recent swimming trip. They were mainly candid with a few posed. She was unobtrusive for the candid photos and kind and encouraging for the posed ones. All the photos are fantastic- thank you, Penny.
