Unfortunately the product I ordered did not smell as it should. I’m supposing this is because it is old stock and was discontinued by Lancôme a couple of years ago. My wife is quite disappointed.

Perfume came in a unprotected box the whole tin was dented

Bought a bottle of aftershave. Few months after purchasing the bottle top sheared off. Thankfully it didn't cut me at least, but at least half a bottle was spilt. When I contacted them, their response was "We offer a month warranty. Contact the manufacturer". Appalling customer service. Won't use again

I ordered an expensive a high-end scent from PD, via Robert Dyas. I have been wearing this particular scent for decades and so did my father. Therefore I am fully aware of what this should smell like.
Regretabley this did not smell as I expected and furthermore, the scent only lasted around an hour, which is way below what I'm used and expecting.
We know this can happen. Many years ago something similar happend with an aftershave I bought in Selfridges and they offered me great support.
I called Robert Dyas who had difficulty in contacting PD's Customer Service on the phone whilst I was on hold. Robert Dyas suggested I try to contact PD directly myself. I felt encouraged after I viewed PD's website and read through their help section regarding this very subject (My fragrance doesn’t smell right?

I follwed the instructions, sent 2 emails, called several times and left messages but I have not had a response yet.
Very Disappointed...

**Update - coincidentally, they contacted me just before this was published so will await their response. Thank you Perfume Direct**

** 2nd Update 20th April - sent the batch number info over to the PD rep who contacted me but have not heard anything back as yet. Not sure what the procedure is and how long this will take to sort out**
