If there was ever a scam company, this is it. Would leave 0 starts if it were possible. Connor is rude, unprofessional, aggressive, evasive, untrained, entitled, stubborn, and very unpleasant to deal with.

It’s a “family business” — in reality, his father’s company — which probably explains why he can show up hours late, speak to clients with attitude, and suffer zero consequences. He has no concept of hard work and is clearly doing this job because he has no better options.

Across multiple scheduled visits, Connor was consistently 2–3 hours late, every single time, always blaming “London traffic.” On one occasion, when I rang him at the time he was already supposed to be at my property, it was obvious he had literally just woken up and was still in bed. When confronted, he became even more rude and defensive.

Another time, I waited over an hour in my flat while he insisted he was “on my street dealing with something urgent.” In reality, he was outside sorting out details for his upcoming white-collar boxing match. Apparently that counts as an “urgent matter.”

This company was selected by my landlord, and both the mouse infestation treatment and ant treatment were useless. Zero improvement, zero professionalism. They are not here to fix problems — they are here to collect money and pretend to provide a service at the lowest possible standard.

Avoid this company at all costs. Report them. They are genuinely one of the worst, most incompetent outfits I’ve ever dealt with.

Complete waste of time and money. They do not do the job properly, they are a bogus company out here to take people's money. Call themselves professionals? They don't even know the meaning of the word, incompetent los**. I had to deal with the issue myself after, because he actually did nothing. Total scammer, AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Three words to describe Pest Protect, Rude, Unprofessional, SCAMMER. 0 stars if could, but please avoid this so called 'pest control' company, he takes your money doesn't do the job properly, out the property in 15 mins when it should take at least an hour or more. I guarantee he didnt even do the job at all he just walked in and out. And thats not even the start of it, he threatened me with messages, begging for the full payment before the job was done. Unreliable, doesn't reply to calls or messages once he's got ur money. Went awol for over a week, when it states they are available 24 hours, seriously?!
I have never in my life ever had to deal with a company like this! So so bad! I wish I checked the reviews here instead of google before I went with them. The guy CT needs some proper customer service training. Avoid it if you want to save yourself the headache, waste of time and the stress he causes. I have had to now fork out more money do the job myself aswell as get an actual pest control company to come and have a look, who have also confirmed that there were no signs of any treatment done in the first place. Absolute scammer, fraud, impossible to get hold of. Lie after lie after lie, and as for the warranty that's a whole lie aswell because he won't even bother answering anymore. No proof of any warranty no receipts nothing, just out there taking people's hard earned cash for nothing. This type of behaviour from this company is actually a regular occurrence I just wish I'd realised earlier I would have saved my money and a whole lot of stress. Edit* This guy is now calling me at 5am and 7am on no caller ID and not talking just sniffing his nose! So weird, just when I think he can't get any lower he goes and does this! I'm reporting him asap. Creepy guy. Thanks for NOTHING

They are good and professional

I recently had an appalling experience with Pest Protect that I feel compelled to share. After scheduling a paid appointment to address a bed bug infestation, the technician confirmed he would arrive at 3:30 PM. I emphasized the importance of this timing, as I needed to take my cat to the vet at 5:30 PM and had to leave by 5 PM.

Unfortunately, the technician arrived 1.5 hours late, well past the agreed-upon time. When I called to inquire about his arrival, he responded with abusive language, displaying extreme rudeness and hostility. To make matters worse, he demanded the remaining payment upfront, threatening to "kick my door off" if I didn't comply.

Despite his tardiness and unprofessional behavior, he insisted on keeping the initial payment without offering any service. This level of unprofessionalism and intimidation is utterly unacceptable. I strongly advise others to avoid Pest Protect to prevent experiencing such distressing treatment.

The first visit, the man arrived extremly late, no communication as to why, and i had to chase.
4 weeks later had to call to book another appointment as the first visit didn't work.
The second visit booked in and again arrived very late and did not complete the visit as wasn't aware of where to lay bait. Again, no communication to ask where to go or explain the situation.
After receiving serveral complaints that no body turned up, I contacted pest protect again - and was given poor excuses, I explained that the job had a guarentee and requested another visit; which was reluctantly arranged. The appointment was for 10 am - noon. Called at 10am to confirm and asked if this could be completed a little earlier. Still not turned up at 13.20 pm, spoke on the phone and completly lied where he was. Totally unprofessional on the phone, and not a care in the world for time keeping, which is completly disrepesctful!! Would not recommend this company at all....

Speedy service! came only 2 hours after I called. Two lovely friendly gentlemen came and explained the process of the job. They were great with my dog and my dog is a lot. Did their fumigation and left. Offered to come back in a week if we notice anything. Very happy and pleased with level of service.

Their work was good and very professional. Good information and articulated himself well. Knowledge on the matters was good 👍

Great company did an amazing job caught more mice then I thought we’re in the house filled holes and laid more traps incase of more coming back lots of advice great price always on and easy to contact for future worries would recommend 100% thank you very much pest protect

Danny was excellent, he sorted my mouse issue on first visit. I called so many companies before calling Danny, they where no good.

Danny is extremely friendly and has alot of knowledge in his job. I cannot thank Danny enough, I was really getting nightmares about rats. He diagnosed the problem straightaway, I had hole in my sewage cutter.

Danny was fantastic. I was really anxious after spotting a mouse in my house. He reassured me and put me at ease with his calm approach and extensive knowledge. Would 100% recommend. Sorted the issue in no time!

Danny and the team are fantastic! They quickly address the problem and provide a comprehensive service which is way better than any other pest control service I've used before. He's got a great manner and really goes the extra mile. Would highly recommend!

Don't believe the positive reviews, they are scammers who don't want to provide a service that you've paid for. We booked via a different site, but when I called was told that they'd prefer I do it directly through them as they don't earn as much (don't advertise if you're not happy with the money you'll earn) I still booked it through a third party and then called to arrange and then was told they couldn't do weekends, with the voucher I'd purchased, so we scheduled for a week day (had to book the morning off of work to wait in) Had the appointment for 9 am today and they didn't show up, started to call and was told they'd arrive between 9am and 10am, it got to 10:30, still not arrived so I started to call again and was sent to busy and ignored. called on a different number and finally got through and was told they wouldn't be showing up, because its not worth their time. absolute waste of a day and person was giving every excuse under the sun as to why they wouldn't show up and was very rude and told me it was my issue and I need to request a refund through the website I booked with.

What a pair of time wasters this so called father and son team are. They call themselves pest control more like liars, useless and awful at communication. Wasted my whole morning waiting for them to come and they kept giving us different arrival times only to then find out on my last phone call to them that actually they were no longer coming and I would need to apply for a refund. Please whatever you do, do not waste your time on this pair of lying thieves and go elsewhere, I completely agree with what others have said about positive reviews on here being made up
