Still haven't resolved my complaint, almost 12 months later. I'm still disappointed with the price hikes after only changing insurers due to a price that was offered well below others. Onlyfor that price to increase greatly the next year. Poor resolution centre too. When they haven't pleased you with pitiful offers, they send you to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority, which we all know is an empty organisation with no real power. So here I am, again. Choose another insurer people.

They have asked for vet notes x3 times and every time I provided a document from the vet stating that they need to contact the vet directly. They just don't read docs! On last occasion the agent put me on hold to get notes from the vet (finally). I called after a few days as nothing happened. And then I learned I need to wait 7-10 business days (which seems to keep resetting every time they make a mistake). At this stage the result of the claim is really less important! They request info but they don't read response and cannot provide any timeframe.

Worst insurance company l have dealt with. Everyone you ring you get a person offshores who can’t help you or understand your frustration. You have to request to speak to someone in Australia who seems to be understanding but most likely reading from a script.
If you want to throw your money away this is the perfect insurance company to that with.
Hardly pay claims & have every excuse in the book.

This insurance company is hopeless.

I was offered a waiver for three months on Tuesday for both Holly and Luca. I replied saying I agreed to the waiver on the same day. I was asked again on Wednesday if I wanted the waiver for both Holly and Luca. I assumed the person writing it had entered a typo and read it as confirmation that the waiver was being actioned so didn’t respond - thinking that was it.

On Friday I received another email asking if the waiver was for Holly and Luca I replied on the same day saying yes, it is for Holly and Luca.

On Friday I received another email from a different email address saying that cancellation of Holly’s insurance was to take effect. I replied saying I had been offered a waiver and asked if you were withdrawing the offer.

And now (Sunday), I just received confirmation of the cancellation of Hollys insurance

What is even happening over there?

The practices I have encountered with this company has reached the point where I think it’s in everyone’s best interest to report this, and my previous experience with payments to the ACCC.

Hopefully the ACCC will set the wheels in motion to review their internal processes so that this kind of thing doesn’t happen to anyone else.

NB my previous review regarding payments appears to be deleted now as they ‘resolved’ the issue, despite my 2 months of emailing to get clarification of payments that appeared in the portal, but not in my account, followed by a direct debit that couldn’t be explained. Then, after posting the now deleted review, I received a phone call within days to resolve what I had been trying to do for 2 months.

Over priced and they are extremely cheap with benefits considering the cost of the insurance, it is also very difficult to cancel the insurance.
