Even after putting my wife and mine…Un-Well chemist,gayton rd,Kings Lynn.

Even after putting my wife and mine repeat perscripstion in as early as posible due to bank holiday they failed to have it ready.Customers queing out of the door some said they had been waiting for an hour.Had to return again in the afternoon and was still not ready.Had to wait another 30 min before getting mine.My wife only got part of hers,we have to go back again in a few days.They will not answer the phone so that you can check before going.poor young girl on the till ends up sorting persciption while chemist and sidekicks hide behind the shelfs.Terible service will not be using them again.Waste of a day.

Went out of their way to help

I arrived at Well Pharmacy in Llanybydder today with a heavily bleeding hand. I'm on blood thinners so it was only a small nick but it bled prefusely. The assistant took me through the back, cleaned me up and dressed the wound. She was so kind. I will definitely be using this chemist again.

had the pleasure of meeting the pharmacist in plainmoor torquay on tuesday 3rd feb. i had really bad earache and couldnt get to see my doctor.i explained my symptoms to a member of staff on duty, he requested i saw the pharmacist for a check over.i cannot fault this pharmacy for there wellbeing of there customers.i have took the pharmacys advise after he checked my ear over, now my pain has eased. i write this review to give a hugh credit to this pharmacy in plainmoor torquay, and thankyou to the pharmicist

Very desapointed!

Very desapointed!! The medecin came in different dates , one they the wrong dosage and the second one was missing not sent!!!

left with no medication

this is the second time well have left me with no medicines. it was supposed to come on wednesday but now it is saturday. i am deaf with limited mobility. i have emailed them every day but they have not answered. and i cant phone them. i will take a taxi on monday to see if i can get hold of my presciptions. i need them urgently as i am diabetic

Credit when credit is due

I know most people only review with a bad experience, and depends on the particular branch - but the well pharmacy in newton, Wigan is great. They know your name when you enter and always do their best to help.

People have to remember it's not the front of house staff fault if something is out of stock - this is the same for a lot of chemist's these days. They work with a limited number of staff in a busy, pressured environment.

Keep up the hard work well Newton branch in Wigan, they deserve the praise for what they do!

The worst customer service I have ever…

The worst customer service I have ever come across always trying to blame the customer for their failings, I once sat in a wells branch for over 2 hours waiting for my prescription only to be told they didn't have my drugs,once had to wait 1 month for some of my drugs, they really don't seem to care

Dreadful chemist

Dreadful chemist. Sometimes had to wait 4 working days for my prescription and occasionally longer. Since changing to Battle Hill pharmacy, I request my prescription and it is delivered to my address within 24 hours.

5 Stars for the Hagley branch

Called the Hagley branch this afternoon and had a great experience. The pharmacist was so helpful. I’m saddened by the poor reviews. I truly feel that his professional and helpfulness far exceeded my expectations. Thank you

Went for a Flu and covid booster

Went for a Flu and covid booster, Sent me a reminder text the night before, Turned up and was asked if Iwas eligible, Had I booked it, And then told the vaccines were not in and nobody was in to give them anyway! Waste of time , This was at Well Pharmacy Park Lane , Macclesfield, Double check before you waste a journey, Did not have the courtesy to text or ring me about this.

This is a carry on from previous,phoned this morning after being promised my remaining 4 items on my order were being posted yesterday another lie,order not sent,phoned up and explained I needed my inhalers urgently was told they would be sent out today received email at 5.45saying they have been posted and should take 2-4 days to deliver,do they not understand urgent,I have no inhalers .I would advise anyone to keep clear of this company ,they couldn't care less and don't listen and don't care.

Shoddy Customer Service

After 4yrs of trouble free Prescription Deliveries This company let me down badly . Every 28days I ordered my medication ,The GP approved and Well Online Pharmacy sent to me . Everything went like clockwork. Until August when I realised that my meds had not arrived despite my GP approving . So, on the Friday I managed to get through to be be told that Well Online Pharmacy did not hold an account for me. I'll not bore with the whole conversation but I was told that someone would phone me before end of day . Thanks Paul !
No one phoned.
After the weekend without medication I phoned again Monday Morning only to be told yet again that they had no record of my account . But someone would contact me later in the day .
No one did .
Meanwhile I checked that my GP had sent the prescription as usual to Well Online Pharmacy. This they confirmed.
As my prescription was still sat in the cloud I was able to redeem it at a Pharmacy in my home town with details of my NHS number . They were extremely helpful .
During the next few days I sent two emails to Well Online Pharmacy customer services hoping to resolve this matter . I received NO reply other than the bog standard confirmation of receipt and someone would be in touch within 48hrs .
No one did .

I now use a far superior online pharmacy having given up on Well.
So why, after several years a customer would my account dissapear into thin air and why has no one replied 🤔 .
It's absolutely shameful and shabby treatment . Luckily my medication is not life threatening if missed by a few days but it was not a pleasant experience.
Also, although in my 70's I'm lucky to be fairly tech savvy and was able to help myself resolve this ,because Well Online Pharmacy sure as Heck would not help .

Totally ineficient

Website simply would not allow me to update forgoten password. Spent hours on several occasions. phone line answered after two attempts by a indistinct and unhelpful person. Hopeless waste of my time. Still not resolved. i am out of my medicine and wondering how to solve the problem their website has created.

Keep WELL away

I placed medicine order for five items with my surgery 02/08/24, and prescription was faxed over to Well pharmacy early on Monday 05/08/24. Desperately in need of a couple of the items I called in to pick my medicine up late afternoon Tuesday - some 30 hours after WELL had received prescription, and was told - "we have only one of the items you require in stock, other items we need to order, and you 'may' be able to collect them earliest on Friday 09/08/24". I contacted WELL management about this on Tuesday 06/08 and didn't even get a reply. And no excuse for not having my medicine in stock because same medicine on my prescription I have been ordering for years. And Desloratadine hay fever tablets they dispensed about a month ago (size of coconuts) they know full well I cannot manage, but just the same they still dispensed them to be thrown away: and after a month I am still awaiting delivery of the remainder of the peanut size tablets I require.
WELL should carry a health warning.

Absolutely dreadful

Absolutely dreadful. Nothing but problem after problem. I order my tablets and some of them don't turn up for over 3 months and I'm constantly having to ask about it but I get nowhere. And another thing, there's been at least 4 times (a month each) where they say that my GP is not approving my order but when I contact the GP they give bar codes, times etc to confirm that each time they had approved and that the fault is with Well and not my GP. When I ask a simple question, I never seem to get a straight answer. It is very stressful. I've had tablets that were delivered but they weren't even counted properly. I do not recommend Well at all and the service has gone way down in this last year. I'm currently dealing with a another problem today. I can't believe how long it takes for them to even say there is a problem with the order, let alone there is a problem. Then it takes ages for them to fix the problem. Meanwhile, I have to go without my medication that I have paid for with an annual prepayment certificate and then also have to pay out again to get more tablets. I get told they'd give a refund, only to be told they can't after I've bought them. I just feel messed around, not listened to and it's super annoying. I'm still owed tablets from months back.

Last month I didnt receive a text to…

Last month I didnt receive a text to say my monthly prescription (for Sertraline, Lisinopril and Atenolol) was ready, so i phoned the pharmacy to see when it would be ready as I was very nearly out of them.
The Pharmacist said it was the surgerys fault as he hadnt received the script.
So I phoned the surgery to see where my script was.
They said my script was sent to the pharmacy on 28th October, It was then the 6th November! So he'd had my script for a week! I finished up having to get an emergency script of 7 Sertraline tablets from the GP to tide me over the weekend.
I am taking these tablets because of anxiety and stress related problems and the GP said I could'nt just stop taking them and needed to be weaned off them gradually.

Yesterday I phoned the pharmacy to see where this months text was and where my script was as, again, I hadnt received my usual text.
He told me that they had'nt had the script from the GP and to phone them to see where it was. This I did and they said it was sent to the pharmacy on 28th November, and suggested I phone the pharmacy again, because it was definately sent there/

I duly phoned the pharmacy to be told by the pharmacist, that my script was in the pharmacy in a pile of backlog scripts! He then went on to say that I could phone the GP and ask them to re-issue the script and he would order the tablets and I would be able to have them on 8th December at 4pm! but he couldnt guarantee that!

So I phoned the GP and told the receptionist this. she said they wouldnt be able to re-issue them.

As Im sure you can imagine, all this is doing wonders fot my anxiety and stress levels. I have been getting my script from this chemist for arounf 10 years with never a problem untill now..

Shocking

I very rarely revert to leaving comments on Trust Pilot, as my usual approach is to write directly to the Head Office. On this occasion, I thought the general public should be aware of recent bad practice at the Well Pharmacy, Sketty Park, Swansea, SA2. According to a recent description generated by AI based on crowd-sourced data the following comments were made initially about Business Practice going on the summaries its thoughts on the Pharmacies themselves.

"Well Pharmacy Head Office is a corporate office serving hundreds of pharmacies throughout the United Kingdom. Unfortunately, customers often find it difficult to reach somebody there to resolve their issues, reporting long wait times over the phone and an apparent neglect of customer complaints. Their perceived lack of quality customer service has been further criticized due to their practice of closing customer service lines during lunch breaks, and customers have reported feeling wholly discouraged from calling their head office after waiting on hold for 30 or 40 minutes. Service at their local branches has also been criticized, as customers have reported missed orders and late availability of prescriptions, as well as poor conduct from certain management staff". Interesting! I have had a debacle of a week trying to get my pain medication prior to my re admittance into hospital. A Script went out on Tuesday to the Pharmacy, we tried ringing Wednesday & Thursday to no avail, only later to be told that two of their phones were broken and two were on charge! Does it take someone with brains to go out and purchase a phone so patients can get in touch! What a disgrace. Then to add insult to injury, on Friday I was reduced to tears when I was told that my pain medicine would arrive on Monday, the very day I was due to go into hospital! As I am disabled and have cancer, so can't get out of the house, my husband is 75 and doesn't drive we opt for a delivery 'service'. What a joke. A taxi to collect the medication was an option, but it was a controlled drug so I dare to say the chemist would not give it to someone other than the named person or husband/partner/family. I was besides myself in tears last night. Thanks to the staff at Well Pharmacy, Sketty Park for your compassion.
