PharmAppy is an NHS-approved digital health platform designed to transform how patients manage their prescription and access pharmacy services, all whilst reducing workload and driving value for pharmacy teams. For patients, PharmAppy makes it easy to request NHS prescriptions directly into the GP and pharmacy system, track orders in real time, and receive regular updates. Smart reminders help ensure medicines are reordered on time, and carers can conveniently manage medication for dependants all from one place. For pharmacies, PharmAppy is fully integrated with both GP and pharmacy systems across the UK. Prescription requests flow seamlessly through existing workflows, requiring no extra input from pharmacy teams. At the same time, orders are automatically reconciled and patients auto-receive clear updates, cutting down on phone calls and routine queries. PharmAppy will soon support pharmacies in growing their private services. By putting services such as health checks, vaccinations, and travel clinics directly in front of patients, the platform will makes it simple for patients to discover, book, and manage appointments - helping pharmacies increase visibility and uptake. Good, but could be better
As a 76 year old, I’d say that the app is easy enough to use, once you’ve done it a few times. I’m especially pleased that I can order my wife’s prescriptions for her, as her mental health is in decline.
My one criticism is that the “Enhance experience” link to the NHS is frustrating. I’ve tried to use it several times but always get to a point where it says there’s a problem, so I’ve stopped trying. As far as I am concerned, the app doesn’t need “enhancing”. I just wish I could see the “request now” button sooner.

This system works so well . I put in a request and within a day or 2 my tablets are ready to pick up . I quite often remember at odd times and I can do it at anytime.

This is the App which I've been waiting…
This is the App which I've been waiting for. It enables me (or my spouse) to order medications when convenient to us. The App is straightforward, and - joy of joys - it keeps us informed of progress at each stage in the process.
After being informed that the medications are ready, our local pharmacy has a 24hrs machine from which it's easy to collect the medicines.
Altogether so very convenient.

Wonderful Idea
Over many years, I had so much trouble with ordering and collecting my prescriptions. Often the Surgery had not received my request, or it had not arrived. Ever since I started using PharmAppy suggested by my local pharmacy, I have not had any problems. Brilliant idea, thank you.
