Something told me it was my property’s fault…..
You can prepare all you like to sell what you think is lovely; You want the most, of course. The agent values and judges the market. You hold out for your top end judgement, - after all you know your property best, don’t you? And you think you’re right as the agent continues to show highly numerous viewings. No offers. The market decides. Why didn’t I listen earlier to my agent who spends 9-5 every week for 18 yrs, honing his local knowledge? In the end, I “adjusted” the Selling Price. Viewers came but only 1 (reduced) offer. This is where Ian ran the course of the sale with astute experience. He gauged the situation of the purchaser to his selling advantage & managed the purchaser against their pending query’s and advised me with alternative options with scenarios of outcomes, when I had to make deal progressive decisions. This is where the action was. Ian was like the conductor of an orchestra, pulling the instruments to play together… but to my advantage. I always felt he was on my side. I could trust his judgement implicitly to put to the purchaser, my wants, in the way that he’d get the right result. The process wasn’t simple because of the nature of the buyer and, because my property “had issues”, - but he dit it! Selling is a hurdle, but I felt Ian took on hurdles at each bend. An agent has to bat with both sides, but I always knew Ian’s hits were for our sale, keeping it on course. Can’t thank him enough for getting this one through. Thoroughly, brilliantly, skilful…. and with humour when it was needed. The Bannisters team was there too for when Ian “had to eat”; Will definitely be asking Ian at BANNISTERS to sell again for us.

I did a bit of research and having looked at the reviews, which all seemed too good to be true to be honest, decided upon Bannisters to sell my house. Well they did not disappoint, I’d sold my house within a month of it going on the market and completed within 12 weeks thanks to them pushing things along. I think I spoke to Ian Winkle more times than my own solicitor who by the way is a credit to Bannisters. Do not hesitate in using them, highly recommend.

I had a few estate agents visit my property to give me a valuation and I chose Bannister because when he arrived he was prompt, well presented and full of knowledge, also when he corresponded with me he got my name and information correct written and verbally which I didn't have from one of the others that came. Bannisters also provided me with the name of an agent that I could contact to create continued care without having lots of different people to speak to each time and explain matters to. They organised many viewings and within just over a month I had a buyer, they did all the hard work for me and kept me informed all the time at each stage. Very efficient. No faults or problems, very high praise for this estate agents. Very happy will use again.

After having the house valued by several companies I chose Philip Bannisters as They appeared to be very professional and helpful as well as competitive price wise. They did not disappoint.
