MISLEADING!!
I ordered from the website (67.09euros), which had all prices presented in euros and no way to switch location or anything. Hence, I assumed it was an EU product. I wanted to return the product after reading bad reviews, and to be fair I would have gotten a full refund - FOR 109 EUROS RETURN COSTS (despite only 23 euros original shipping). It is indeed stated on their website that international sales are final, but they do not indicate anywhere on the website where they are based. Combined with the prices in local currency without an option to select location/currency, it seems pretty obvious that they are purposefully misleading people to gauge profits off of a terrible product!
Absolutely Incompetent
Phonesoap sent the wrong number of items. Despite clearly communicating the issues to them, they failed to provide the remaining unit in a timely manner which meant it would not be received.
They have consistently refused to accept ownership of their mistakes and continue to refuse a pro-rata refund for the items that they did not supply.

On complaining, Phonesoap response is to buy a US-UK adapter. Great, let's have a rickety 3 inch wall plug/adapter connecting electrical goods that have presumably not been tested in UK potentially exposing consumers to danger. Phonesoap can apparently do this because they sell from abroad. BE WARNED!
Shame on you, Phonesoap.
Don't Do Business with PhoneSoap
I have purchased multiple units over the years. Quality control is terrible, each one had to be replaced by the company. It used to be an unreliable product but good customer support, they would always send a working unit. Now the customer support is awful, in fact nonexistent. They took two weeks to reply to an email and now they have just dropped me. I sent my 3 month old broken HomeSoap in for a replacement and now crickets from the company. I'm going to call the Better Business Bureau.
Support so far is horrendous
Support so far is horrendous. Absolutely no response to my question with multiple attempts and it's been nearly a week. Not sure about the product here so will update to a higher score if the product is great.
Scamming people
I ordered a Phonesoap Pro at their black friday sale 2022.
As promised, my free Phonesoap basic unit arrived, but without my Pro unit. The Phonesoap Basic had scratches on it and the support never reached back to me. The live support said "back in 2 hours". A week has passed and no answer.
I never got what I paid for. Avoid buying from Phonesoap.
Great service
I had my unit for almost 2 years when it started having issues. I got in contact with PhoneSoap and talked to Daphne. First of all, she's probably the nicest human being I've talked to in a month. She was able to answer all my questions and help me through troubleshooting the device. They ultimately ended up replacing my unit which is beyond what they were obligated to do since it was just outside of the warranty period.
Didn’t last long
Didn’t expect it to break in the middle of a global pandemic. Wish it lasted longer.
They need a guy in China to inforce quality
I liked the idea and saw the two young missionary type developers on Shark Tank. I bought one. It seemed to work fine for six months and stopped. Of course you never know if it is actually killing germs and have no way to check. I got a second one for $39 on Woot that lasted eight months. Good innovative design. Obvious lack of quality control.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service! Ordered a phone back in November, still have not received it. Spoke with multiple people and received different excuses from blaming another company and not taking ownership. Replies to emails are slow and the customer service reps, Sophia and Jessica, are extremely rude. The supervisors do not call or contact customers. Definitely not worth it!
Poor Shipping and Customer Service
I placed two separate orders on 12/10/2020. On the website it states that you will receive the item within 4-10 days. Both orders were processed that day and I was given Fed-Ex numbers. I was emailed that they were ready to be shipped. One order arrived on 12/13/2020. The other order never arrived. When I checked on status, it still stated "label created waiting for package". I contact customer service and was told the 4-10 days are actually "business days" and that "hopefully" I will receive it this week. A few more days pass and no update on the shipment. I contact customer service again and they said it's probably because FedEx is having issues on updating their data. The person I talked to was nice and said they would double check with the warehouse and get back to me by end of day. They didn't get back to me until the following day and stated that the shipment was now officially being shipped and I would get an update within 24 hours. I wait 24 hours and there was no update. I contacted customer service again by "e-mail" stating that FedEx is showing no package being shipped and that using FedEx as an excuse for not shipping was not a valid excuse and that I wanted someone to personally follow up with this as I needed this by 12/17/20 so I can wrap and ship to my family for Christmas. I finally get an update that the package is on it's way and I will receive it on the 22nd. Customer service did not follow up, did not apologize and didn't even try to fix it. The right thing would have been we are sorry, we are sending it express so you can have it time. I definitely did NOT feel valued as a customer and will never recommend PhoneSoap to anyone.

Do Not Trust This Company
On 6/25/2020 I ordered a PhoneSoap 3 device directly from the PhoneSoap.com website. The device was to ship 7/08/2020. On 6/25/2020 PhoneSoap charged my credit card for $85.45. I did not expect to be charged for the order until it actually shipped. The greatest unexpected event occurred on 6/26/2020. That day a manually entered charge for $85.49 was made to my credit card at an Office Depot in Dallas, Texas. I was not in Dallas that day and I did not make a purchase from any Office Depot. Because a fraudulent charge had been made I cancelled my credit card immediately. Due to the similarity In charges I contacted PhoneSoap asking about the charges, including the Office Depot charge. Interestingly, PhoneSoap offered to cancel my order for their product. Irritated by what had occurred, I cancelled the order. The credit card provider (Citibank) did not share with me the results of their investigation but told me that the Office Depot charge was fraudulent. My take on Phone Soap? Their system cannot be trusted at all. Someone in Phone Soap lifted the information from my order and used it for an Office Depot purchase.

I preordered And paid for my phonesoap pro on 4-8-2020. Was told it would be shipped 7-15-2020. I contacted them on 7-17-2020 to check staus and was told it would be shipped week of 7-27-2020. Contacted on 8-2-2020 and was told was shipped through FedEx and they didn’t have an updated tracking numbers. Today checked status now being sent to someone else to find out why not here yet. My daughter in the meantime ordered hers and was delivered within one week. Not impressed with company whatsoever
I got a phone soap3 travel pre-pandemic
I got A phone soap3 pre-pandemic. Then it stopped working in April. Many emails and different customer service people over the course of probably four weeks. It was finally resolved. I disagreed with their decision to take my device and try to fix it and send it back. It was unrepairable and they sent a new one of my choice. I chose to get one the quickest as possible so it wasn’t the exact model I originally bought. But I’m happy they finally made it right, and I’m understanding that the extra time and effort was Covid related.
My issue was resolved
I have bought many of their products and I am aware there are some delays in manufacturing and delivery and once you get past this, their products are great.
I had an issue with one of my orders and Lauren, who came on board to assist me, done so within a few hours. I had an issue with their customer service and their numbers were not staffed when I called through, although I am aware it is a busy time.
Lauren, was very hands on and helped me a lot and I will return to this company. Like any new start ups there are teething problems, and despite everything I have gone through, I believe their products are very well made. I also believe unlike other companies, they are honest and stand by their word.

Unfortunately I have had a bad experience
Unfortunately I have had a bad experience with them, I have preordered the device and it was supposed to be shipped on May 2020 but it has never been shipped, the support was quite responsive but they have never told me the truth that what had happened to my order, they nicely refunded my money, but you know what I am saying I can understand that Corona situation has ruined everything but I would rather them to be honest with me instead of making excuses.
Professional service
I echo the previous review. Very professional service when it comes to ordering, delivery and presentation. Trusting that it does do what it 'says on the box', I'm so far very satisfied.
They provide a very pro looking device and meet their promises !
I pre-ordered one of their "Phone Soap" UVC light sterilization device (the PhoneSoap Go travel version) on March 12th 2020, and received it around the expected date they gave me, which was May 13th 2020.
Everything in the package felt and look professionally well made, and not like one of those cheap item from China you can find on Amazon these days. The color is also smooth and awesome looking. The device itself performed great, and I was also pleased to see that the warranty card stated that the UVC bulbs had a lifetime warranty on them, which was nice.
Loved the storage/protective pouch the device came with, and also the fact that they even have a small silicon tab that blocks the nasty UVC light from escaping through the cable pass-through hole on the side. Very well engineered.
Only tiny down side of this product is that the timer is set to 10mn cycle. Recent study about the SARS-CoV-2 virus shown that it need at least 30mn of UVC exposure to be 100% killed. So a way to be able to program the UV cycle up to 30mn would have been nice. But it's not a big deal, and I can just push the start button a few more time if needed, to be sure the phone is well sterilized.
Overall, I am very happy with this product, and services received from this site.
