The best!

PicTime is the best client gallery software on the market. I have tried many of them, and PicTime far surpassed the other options. Aesthetically, their software is beautiful, and showcases the photos in minimal fashion that makes the photos sing. They are constantly innovating, making improvements and adding new features. Their customer service is top notch. And, best of all, PicTime is run by some of the nicest humans on the planet who really care.

Pic-Time has helped me elevate the experience for my clients!

I have been a loyal Pic-Time user for several years - it has not only helped me provide my clients with beautiful galleries, but has also improved my workflow! I love that my clients have the ability to order prints directly from the store. And I love that I have the option to blog using the images already uploaded to a gallery! And the fact that I can make a slideshow to surprise and delight my clients is a feature that has received so much positive feedback!

The team is always finding ways to improve Pic-Time both for photographers and our clients! And if you have an issue, customer service is always helpful via chat or the Facebook Group!

One MAJOR safety issue

Customers find the interface sometimes difficult. They have all kinds of questions and often can't download their pictures without asking for help.

That is not the issue however. THIS is.

Pictime is NOT safe. With 3-5 clicks, anyone with a bit of IT experience (or knows how to google) can access the full galeries without having to pay. The watermark is just an overlay and can easily be deleted. The worst? Pictime is aware, multiple photographers have raised this issue. They just don't do anything about it. Clients can steal their photos and you will never know.

No Christmas Spirit in this Customer Service

I placed a very large Christmas card order and was horrified when the cards had halfway cut off one person on the card. When I asked for a refund they said this is the way I ordered it. Who wants a picture with a person on the end cut in half???

Good BUT with one major issue

It's generally a good online gallery. It looks nice, loads fast and is easy to share. However, I cannot rate it with more than 2 stars because there is a big issue. Every time I reorder my photos, I have to reload the browser. If I do not reload the browser, the new order of the photos will not be saved and I have to do it again. This means, when I order a wedding with 700 photos, I have to reload the browser countless times. I have addressed this issue almost two years ago, and they have still not come up with a solution which is very disappointing.

Always been the best provider for my business from the beginning. It has been a very beautiful journey working with the team and the people behind it. Since I started working with Pictime, they have always pushed their limits, implementing new ideas and satisfying professionals. I could not recommend a better company on the market. Easiest 5 stars ever.

I was fairly happy with their gallery but…

I was fairly happy with their gallery solution, so I did purchase an annual plan. The problem is I ended up finding something better (an all in one solution with sprout studio) and when I asked about cancelling and reimbursing the remainder of the plan that I am obviously not going to use it was too difficult for them to do. They get the the extra star because what they do have product wise is good.

Pic-Time is Awful (and rude!)

I rarely write reviews unless they are glowing and positive but Pic-Time is a huge exception!! I used them to order an 8 x 10 engagement photo from the photographer's web site. I checked the box agreeing to cropping the photo if necessary. However, when I received the print, Pic-Time had cut off the feet of the soon-to-be bride and groom above the ankles (they were walking down a beautiful path). When I emailed them, explaining their product did not reflect the photo on the engagement website and I would like Pick-Time to resend, correctly done, all I got back was a snarky email from "Haley" telling me it was my fault because I didn't edit the photo myself on-line. I tried again and got an equally snarky email from "Megan" basically telling me to go pound salt. My mistake was thinking Pic-Time would do a professional job if any cropping was required. If you care about your photos, DO NOT use Pic-Time. Get the pictures digitally and go to Wal-Mart to print. You'll do a much better job than Pic-Time.

The store front is beautiful.. proceed with caution

The store front is beautiful. Missing many features compared to other host. Photobiz and Shootproof have stellar customer service and lot of features. I only have been serviced with chat not sure if they even have a customer service number. I have a cheer school with over seven hundred images, and they cannot tell me why no watermark is showing. Estimated wait time forty -eight hours. Proceed with caution...

Do not order photos from this company

Do not order photos from this company! Their website did not honor a discount code at checkout. We immediately cancelled our order when we discovered that we were billed the full amount. When reaching out to customer service, the response time was slow, and despite cancelling the order it was processed anyway. We attempted to negotiate with their billing department, but were not even put in contact with them. We have been told we will get a refund, but only because the photographer was willing to cover the costs. The issue was not with the photographer and we feel terrible that responsibility fell on him. We never leave poor reviews, but do not want others to have the same terrible experience. Wish we had read reviews of pic time before placing an order with them.

Not worth it!

Not worth it. I ordered a Magazine it came with 2 albums $101 for 5 staples pieces of basic paper. Real cheap. Tried to express my disappointment, but they said talk to the photographer. The company does not take accountability or try to come up with solutions to fix an “unsatisfied customer”. Hopefully this review helps prevent the next consumer from making a wasted purchase!

Poor service - avoid.

They avoid taking responsibility for delayed shipping and when paying for a premium delivery service. Software is not user-friendly and as a photographer, you’ll waste hours trying to make it work for your business.

I love pic time

I love pic time. Their designs for client experience are next to none. I've had zero issues with my store and always find their customer service so helpful.

I'd definitely recommend for client galleries.

don't buy - professional photographer

I'm a professional photographer, shooting around 250 shoots per year.
Pic-time works very well on one side: it's clean, clear for customers and the gallery looks very nice.
A big plus is you get to customise who can see what, in the privacy settings.
Sharing is easy and letting clients select photos is a very handy plugin, especially when you're in the business of making albums.

However:
it doesn't work well with Mac. Actually there are a lot of bugs. I've been talking to customer service for more than a month. They are very kind but you feel you have to go through the "hierarchy" to get your problem fixed, which takes time.
And if you're a photographer, you know how clients are when something "went wrong" with their photos.
I do understand off course that Pic-time can have some problems, so I respect that. But the fact is they just can't seem to solve it and recommend me changing settings on my Mac computer.

I'm not a fan of that.
I understand that it could be hard programming for windows and Mac OS separately, but to be fair, it shouldn't be the problem of the photographer.
In the end I'm the client and I pay for a product to work, that's the only thing I ask.
I'm certainly not going to change my IP-settings just for a software company. If I should do that for every program I use I would be better off becoming an IT'er.

In the end, their recommendations didn't even help so I'm having a lot of difficulties getting my pictures to clients and the only thing I get back from Pic-time is "try to change this setting or this setting on your computer".

I think they miss who their clients are, I think you feel they don't talk enough with photographers and ask what they want or need.

The least they could do is try to compensate financially for the month already I was not able to use the system in the way it should work, but I never received an answer on that.
On the other hand I'd rather just have my clients to receive their photos, so it's not even about the money.
But at this moment, I'm paying for broken software.

Short:
Pic-time: great potential, but not there yet (at all).
A lot of options, but the core business doesn't work properly (easy gallery system).

Disappointing quality and service

When I received my order, I was missing 14 out of the 16 5 x 7 photos and 12/12 of the 8 x 10 photos I ordered. I haven’t gotten an update of when I might receive them over a week later. I also ordered a photo book that came with hard lines in the background color of images that weren’t there in other prints and white flecks in the images throughout. All of my 4 x 6 photos have a greenish tint. I really wish I had ordered elsewhere.

Had a horrible experience with them

Had a horrible experience with them. Ordered a set of prints and had selected the semi-gloss finish. When I realized that another pic bundle was way cheaper, I selected that option and the TINY print on the site changed to say that I was ordering a matte option. I spent $100 on this order for Christmas gifts. Turns out that fine print on the website screwed me, and when I got my prints they looked like they printed my wedding photos on straight cardstock. I asked for them to help me twice via customer service to either issue a credit or help fix it and they refused. So they essentially took my money and offered zero customer service issues. I will never use them again.

The album approval process is a nightmare

I mainly use Pic-time for the Album approval process within the studio I work with, as I am an album designer. I can't speak for the other areas of the software. When it comes to the process of getting an album approved between myself and the client, this software is a nightmare compared to other companies out there. It places all the revised pages on top of each other (if the client adds pins for each set of revisions) the pages get so messy that we have to take it offline and continue the approval process by email. The comments boxes can't be edited at all, so when there's multiple revisions to the album, you end up with dozens and dozens of comment boxes on each page. There's also no button or area for the client to check-off when giving their final approval. I could go on and on...but this gives a general idea. The points above are all basic things that other sofwares out there do. If I wasn't forced to use this software through the studio, I would never use it or recommend it to anyone involved in the album process.
