Pink Avocet was started 15 years ago. A fan of natural products and knowing the cosy benefits of sheepskin we started with outstanding Toscana sheepskin hats, widely worn in the Alps. The range was expanded to include gilets, neck warmers and gloves. Then the brand expanded to include some cashmere, silk and linen line; to champion sustainable and slow fashion – we sought well-made classics with a twist which are a go-to wardrobe staple. We are proud to offer over 50 colours of knitwear, so there is something for every occasion and to suit everyone. We want you to feel great in what you’re wearing and to elicit compliments from your friends and family. One enormous added benefit is that our cashmere is moth resistant and machine washable, so you don’t need to worry about those pesky mites ruining your favourite piece.

Rather poor quality - the stitching is coming apart under one arm and the way the hem rolls up looks very cheap. A disappointment.

Stunning gilet
I had yearned after a Toscana gilet for years, and finally succumbed. My husband didn’t know, but he was buying it me for Christmas!
It is absolutely beautiful. So luxurious and glamorous yet warm, stylish and practical. I love how it is reversible. It can be worn with a casual, or dressy outfit.
I measured myself as per the sizing instructions before ordering. I am usually a UK 12/14 depending on fit, but size 16 was my recommended size in the gilet. It does indeed fit beautifully, so DO follow their guidelines.
I know I will treasure it for many years to come.
