All good from the start until the very end!
Down to earth sales, office staff and fitters, house is night and day from what it was. Im pretty OCD so if it passes my standards (which it does) im happy.

All of my neighbours asking about it and it has been well worth it. ProPERLA coating white and anthracite was done and I would get it done to my next property if I ever moved house.
Ian, Peter, Tracey, Darren and Johnny all great.

This company are not to be trusted. I paid over £17k to have my roof coated with a ten year guarantee but it has leaked on a regular basis ever since. I am disgusted with their attitude and their lack of effort to cure the problem. They are now trading as PT Platinum Group Ltd with the same man in charge. They did not do as quoted on the offer and I stupidly paid the total price. Within weeks leaks happened and after about ten attempts the leaks stopped. Weeks later after a snowfall it all started again and they have not been back in touch since early May. I have now had to arrange another approved roofing contractor to cure the problems they caused. DO NOT TRUST THEM ! ! !

Going through the courts seems to be the only remaining way to make a claim, as the company is completely dissolved and not responding.

Every member of the team provided a professional and courteous service throughout the process. I was given very good advice on the product that would best suit my building and produce the best results. Tracey maintained contact with me to advise of next steps in the process. Jan and his son Julien completed the work to a high standard. Jan consulted me to ensure I was happy with the work at various stages. Ian, the owner, visited when the work was completed to ensure I was happy with the work. I am very pleased with the work carried out, think it is good value for money and , most importantly, my house now looks like new.

I needed a big project done, from repairing damaged roughcast to spraying PROPERLA paint over a large detached house. I had a very fair and competitive quote for the work. Weather was against the team to get each stage finished, but when they were able to come, they always worked extremely hard and went the extra mile to ensure I was happy. There were a few hiccups along the way, as with any large project, but I'm delighted with the final product, and the price was fair. Time will tell if the product will last 10-15 years as advertised, but at the moment I'm really pleased with the result - a beautiful looking home. Thank you Platinum team for all your work on this big project!

Further to my last review, these cowboys have still not fulfilled their obligations to rectify the mess on my flat, supposed to have two coats of ProPERLA, paint is transparent, not done crack repairs as they have supposed to have done. Blasted silicone out of my new windows, no preparation has been carried out as it was quoted for, the paint is very transparent and certainly not had two coats. Make no mistake they aren’t a professional company and the guarantee isn’t worth the paper it is written on.
Use at your own risk don’t get hoodwinked into their reviews we have many photos showing their shoddy work, which I am willing to share with anyone who would like to see them, photos don’t lie unlike platinum. If your reviews are so great, why isn’t the Finnish on my flat so great, like I said photos don’t lie and I’ve got plenty.

I have no problem using a professional company who carry out a professional job, and this isn’t you. I’ve been in the building trade all of my life and run my own company for over 30 years and I certainly know what I’m talking about.
I repeat, photos don’t lie and you did blow the silicone out of my window and blew the trickle vents off, you’ve been the only one with a power washer spraying everything in the vicinity as I’ve got you on security camera.
I might live in England but I do visit regularly, besides my brother in law live in the next block and I know exactly what is going on.
They have now had a solicitors letter.

My neighbour isn’t satisfied as platinum have to return to carry out repairs they’ve not done in the first instance.

They take a deposit when you accept the quote (that should have been a red flag right there) scaffolding appeared 5 th November 2024 26 nov two appear with pressure washer to clean wall (never seen any fungicide applied) they said it was mixed with the water ? They were there for about an hour. Got a phone call same day asking for a second payment so they could progress to next stage of pointing and primer coat. Scaffolding was there past Christmas and into new year, apparently pointing was done at time of washing. Finally got painted 16/012025 no primer coating. Said two coats were applied and was not pro-Perla as quoted scaffolding quickly removed next day. Multiple broken slates and what a mess that was left in valley gutter had to clean most of it myself incase of water leaks due to it blocking the drain hole, I phoned and reported this and they would send someone to clean the area. Which they did. But I soon found that the two down pipes were blocked with muck and pointing plaster causing water to over flow on to street. Would never recommend them to anyone a two to three day job took three months granted with some weather delays.

From my initial contact with Tracey and Lynda to the final visit from Ian everything was fantastic. Everyone was extremely friendly and I was kept informed at all times and everything was done when they said it would. No hard sell from David, gave me the information I needed and left me to decide when to follow up. I felt in control. Painting was done by Johnny and Dan, such a quality finish and attention to detail was great.nothing was too much bother and they offered great advice. They spoke to my neighbours and were really considerate to them when carrying out the work. They arrived on time every day and never stopped and tidied up each day. They did a final walk round and made sure I was happy and got a chance to speak to Peter who also made sure I was happy. Ian ,the owner , also made a visit to inspect the work and also check i was happy. At each stage of the process i felt a really valued customer. Probably one of the best customer experiences I have had and the quality of the work is outstanding.

Really pleased with the service. The house looks so good - everyone has said about the positive difference it has made. The workers were very considerate of the neighbours; a number wanted quotes for their own home improvement.

Excellent company and Tracy was such a great help keeping us updated the whole time. Work completed to a high standard and the house feels a lot warmer. Definitely recommend!

Got the roof done in May and couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. Tracy, Lynda in the office and all the guys who came to my home were brilliant and made the whole process very easy

We had the whole of our house cleaned and coated and flat roof on extention replaced. All the work carried out to a high standard, in a timely manner and workmen at all times polite and helpful.
Would have given 5 stars but found communications difficult when related to when works were to be carried out.

This review is purely around my impression after our first meeting.

This business is not pushy. They explained the process they use, the options available and I generally felt I was given an honest review of my current walls.

When I asked about Finance, they offered to help with trying to sort the best deal.

No hidden costs and no discounts 'if you sign up today' scenario.

I have no doubt in my mind that I would use this business for my rough casting

The workmanship is as poor as you could possibly get
The building has not been properly prepared before painting,
Repairs to render have not been carried out.
Translucent coating in places, and cracking in paint, this lot are not professional painters.
You still haven’t fulfilled your obligations, the paint is transparent in places, the crack repairs haven’t been completed, you’ve blown silicone out of my windows.
The paint haven’t been applied as per instructions as you couldn’t possibly do the job in a day. You are most unprofessional company I have come across in a long time, the guarantee you offer isn’t worth the paper it’s written on, as for your client at number 8 is a know all blow bag who thinks he knows everything, if my money isn’t returned someone will be speaking to the Sheriff

Would I recommend Platinum Exterior Renovations? Most definitely Yes.

David visited to give us a quote for roughcasting with no hard sell. We recently had a bad experience with another roofing company so were a bit anxious but David reassured us that would not be the case with Platinum. He was absolutely right.
Matt came and done a technical survey and the crew arrived the next day. We honestly couldn’t praise them enough. The team came out of the vans and got straight to work. Their work ethic is great and they didn’t even stop for a cuppa. The job was completed in two days to a very high standard. Seven workers turned up both days and were very polite. Even had a site visit when finished to make sure we were happy. Great communication from start to finish.
