Terrible experience so far pre-installation. Their customer service is shocking. You can't actually get through to speak to any member of the EV team. All you can do is leave a message with the switchboard who says he will pass it on. Wait around for days and still no reply. I received an email asking me to call them. I tried several times and left a message each time. Eventually they emailed to say it was an automated message! I chose to buy my EV charger through my energy supplier and that's why we've ended up with Plugmein - more like wait_ages_to_plugmein. I've spoken to several other companies such as Cord and they offered friendly phone calls from the team and a clear timeline. I would not recommend this so far. Am seriously thinking of asking for a refund.

I don't normally write reviews and I wouldn't have come across this company had it not been for Scottish Power who as a company are a bloody nightmare.

However right from the beginning the plugmein folk have been amazing. Martyn who fitted the ev point was tremendous, explaining everything professionally while being a general good guy. Suzanne who booked the slot and coordinated things made me feel good about myself as a human, I never expected that and probably shows how seldom companies get the caring for customer bit right. Already my car is charging perfectly and I'm ready grateful. Thank you

Excellent install clean, tidy work and the engineer cleaning up after he finished, really very little disruption to my day highly recommend,👍🏻

Andrew was very friendly and explained the process and how to use the device really well, I am rubbish with IT generally but even I understood it.

Communication before the day was good. On the day Arshad was professional, polite and talked me through everything he was doing. He showed me the app and checked I understood everything. Phillip joined him to assist and check things.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Chris was our installer and arrived on time, was extremely professional, and completed the EV charging port installation to a very high standard. The work area was kept clean and tidy throughout, and everything was explained clearly. Couldn’t be happier with the result — highly recommended!

Great installation Chris couldn’t have been better.. walked through the process the cable locations etc make sure the black cable wasn’t visible on the render.. couldn’t recommend more

Fantastic service again. My charger was occasionally tripping when charging during the night so i got in touch with Plugmein to see if someone could come out and have a look. I asked for Arshad as he was fantastic when he installed my charger a year ago and had the same experience again today, extremely friendly and helpful and managed to find an issue with the RCD which was causing it to trip. It was very nice to see him again.

Also a big thank you to the lady I spoken to on the phone when I first reported the issue. She was also extremely friendly and helpful, I think her name was Suzanne.
