I bought matching bath and basin mixer taps via their EBay store based on their "Fit & Forget" 10 year guarantee, along with their claim that ceramic washers don't wear out.
5 years on and the basin tap began to drip badly. Having no luck with sourcing a replacement cartridge I tried to contact them several times to claim under their guarantee, both via Plumbgalaxy and their other trading name, Bathroom Takeaway, in Manchester.
ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE TO ANY EMAILS SENT TO EITHER ADDRESS SHOWS NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS LET ALONE ANY INTENTION OF HONOURING THEIR SO CALLED GUARANTEE!
I bought a towel radiator two years ago, it included a 10 year warranty. It has suffered external corrosion on one of the vertical tubes. I sent them a photograph to claim under warranty. They, asked if I had inhibitor in the system, I sent them proof of service and inhibitor inclusion. This was irrelevant anyway, because the corrosion is external, if it was from inside it would be leaking, none of my old radiators were corroded. I again asked for a refund or exchange and they refused, although I’d sent them proof. I have sent more correspondence to them and they ignored it.
My experience with Plumb Galaxy was very disappointing.
I ordered a shower unit from them (via B&Q). The shower tray was delivered, but the shower screen was missing from the order.
What made the situation particularly frustrating was that I was left to do all the chasing myself. I had to repeatedly follow up for updates, contact the relevant parties (B&Q and DHL Ecommerce), and spend considerable time trying to find out what had happened to the missing item.
Despite these efforts, the shower screen could not be located, leaving me with an incomplete installation and delays to my bathroom installation. This has resulted in extra cost as I have had to extend the timeframe needed for my builder to complete the work.
I have now had to request a refund because the issue could not be resolved.
While delivery problems can occur, I would have expected more proactive communication and support from the supplier. Instead, the burden of resolving the issue seemed to fall entirely on me.
To be fair, the customer service representatives I dealt with were always polite, professional, and helpful. However, this was overshadowed by what appears to be a poor logistics and supply chain process, which ultimately failed to resolve the issue.
Based on this experience, I would not feel confident ordering from Plumb Galaxy again.
Avoid this company if you don’t want to waste your money
Purchased a bath panel through Amazon after less than 2 weeks panel has water ingress after contacting them and sending pictures the originally offered a £15 refund on a bath panel the was £100
I refused as the panel looked awful, they the tried to say it’s installed incorrectly , I has installed lots of these for (different make) customers and never had a problem nowhere in the manufacturer instructions where followed
Ordered through B&Q went with this one originally as it was next day delivery.
I received a message from plumbgalaxy saying that unfortunately stock wasn’t ready and could I wait or would I prefer a refund. I decided to wait and received my item within a week with no problems. I received good communications with the company through the process and am happy with the item and service received.
A truly awful company, avoid if possible!! Unfortunately they do not sell direct, but you can end up with them indirectly if you order through EBay, B & Q, Amazon etc.
The phones are answered promptly by friendly people, but that’s where it ends, as soon as the phone goes down, you are forgotten about.
If you want after sales service, forget it with this lot. Apparently the only person in the company who knows anything about any product, is a nameless ‘product manager’, who refuses point blank to speak to anyone!!
You will not get any help at all.

A bad experience
Bought two showers from this company less than a year ago. Refusing to replace or refund them when they’ve both developed the same fault at around the same time. I’m taking them to court. Do not use this company.
Placed my order via B&Qfor a shower door on next day delivery.
Now been waiting 4 days no correspondence no shower door and now trying to get refund. Stay away from this company
Unbelievable company and lack of customer service . Wish I’d read the reviews before ordering as ordered bath panel on 1-2 business day delivery on the 03/12 where now on the 14/12 and no sign of the package. Had one reply telling me they had technical/mechanical/staffing issues surely they can’t be that unlucky to have all three happen. They still can’t give me a delivery date. So B&Q have requested a return to sender wonder how long that will take ?? The lady m guessing they will keep my money till the return is complete. I’d steer away from anything that involves plumbing galqxy at the B&Q
Ordered a shower tray and screens confirmed a delivery date but no time I can home from work at 1.30pm because my wife is recovering from a stroke then I got a phone call from my wife to say they had delivered if but did not knock the door dump £500 worth of goods on the doorstep I have emailed about this and all I got was they would look in to but guess what nothing take your money quick enough I would avoid these and never purchase anything again from them

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I had a large damaged bathroom sink. They replaced but have been refusing to collect for the past 3 months. I’ve spent hours between B&Q and plum galaxy. They keep telling me to keep it, dispose of it. Even when I’ve told them several times to collect item as it’s soo big I can’t dispose of it.
Don’t even think about it.
Bathroom delivered by man wearing sliders. Basin smashed to smithereens, woefully inadequate packaging and careless handling. Over £300 spent and offered £10 compensation. Purchased from B&Q and offered refund, only interested in collecting the undamaged furniture. Non existent customer service, emails arriving in the early hours of the morning, only once a day. Just appalling, and B&Q not much help either. Plenty of other companies, avoid this one.
Radiator damaged in transit. Customer service is horrendous. A different person replies to every message you send WITHOUT reading what was said before. I got conflicting responses which took ages when they bothered to reply. They refused to send a replacement until they made me wait many days to collect the damaged one they sent (and then I would need to wait for despatch). Wanted to give me just £5 refund to keep the unusable radiator. Company name is Plumb Galaxy Ltd and known as Plumb-Galaxy on eBay where I made the purchase and will also write a review (and anywhere else I can find this business online).
