Thanks Paul, who is part of the Plus Rooms aftercare team, for quickly responding to damp, which appeared post the recent heavy rain. Without fuss, he managed to not only realigning guttering, make good the internal wall, but also proceeded to fix some separate guttering where a seal had gone. Aftercare is so important to us. We used Plus Rooms to build a small garden room and shower room onto our kitchen. Plus Rooms were really helpful from the very outset and supported us to make the best plan within our space and budget limitations. The process took exactly as long as they said it would, kept to budget and we were kept well informed all along the way. Since completion Plus Rooms have been extremely speedy and helpful with inevitable snags - we never felt anything was too much for them and they have a really good can do approach to problem solving. We are really pleased with our space and would highly recommend them.

Plus Rooms recently completed a large extension for us. We had used them previously in 2017 and were delighted with the results, so we didn’t hesitate to contact them again when we moved to our new house. The design was not straightforward as it involved connecting an existing room in the house with the garden at a lower level. Plus Rooms navigated this design with ease allowing the original and new sections of the house to flow smoothly via a staircase into the new extension.

We were very impressed with all of the contractors provided by Plus Rooms and having a dedicated project manager with excellent attention to detail made the whole process much much more hassle free for us.

We appreciate the fact that Plus Rooms could take care of all aspects of the build, including the design and applying for the relevant permissions needed.

We would not hesitate to recommend Plus Rooms to anyone wishing to undertake a similar type of build. We are delighted with our extension which has improved how we live in the house enormously.

So building work is fraught with fear, worry, anxiety and stress, but from the get go Plus Rooms impressed us by being able to calm our nerves. From the initial visual plans in our first meeting, to comprehensive schedules, detailed kick off meetings and weekly site visits. The building team became like Rockstars in the house and were amazing with our young kids, as we decided to live in when doing it.

Did we have problems we had to overcome, of course, what build doesn't - but it felt like a true partnership and they were always quick to respond. We also finished bang on time.

Plus Rooms were slightly more expensive than others, but because they could give us such clarity from the get go and would project manage the whole thing, that's why we went with them and i'm glad we did.

A neighbour recommended Plus Rooms as I wanted a side return kitchen extension with large doors into the garden and a downstairs toilet fitted. I have been ripped off by builders in the past, so wanted to use a trusted company with a project manager to oversee the whole thing. I liked the Plus Rooms representatives right from the start, and always felt my hand was held. I had regular site meetings with my project manager who was very helpful, and the various teams of builders were excellent and extremely hardworking, even when it snowed! I am so delighted with the finished kitchen and it is beautifully finished. Everyone who has seen it has been blown away. I cannot recommend Plus Rooms enough for their professionalism, hard work, friendliness and expertise.

Three things really stand out compared to other firms we've used in the passed: Firstly, they know the work extremely well - they focus on extensions and conversions of London property and they clearly had extensive experience doing jobs exactly like ours (side-return on a victorian mid-terrace). They had seen it all before an knew exactly what to expect.

Secondly, they really understand their clients. Major building works can be incredibly stressfull, particularly when juggling jobs and kids etc etc. Plusrooms really understand this and our project manager (Scott) was exceptional.

Thirdly, their workmanship is top-quality (plenty of photos online that show this).

I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

The Plus Rooms 'one stop shop' model really appealed - especially as I was about to have our second child and we wanted someone to take care of all the admin, permissions, organising trades etc. And they did exactly that - brilliantly.

We had a kitchen extension and did a semi-garage conversion and they were great to work with.

Our project manager took care of everything and kept us fully informed in weekly site meetings.

They stuck to the agreed timeline - a first! - and we had a clear project document that was easy to understand and transparent. In terms of invoicing, we always felt we knew what we were paying for and why, which was reassuring.

One of the things that also really impressed us was how they dealt with things that didn't quite go to plan - this happens in every building project, but how it's dealt with can make/break a relationship with a contractor and we were very impressed at the positive, problem-solving way Plus Rooms handled the unavoidable glitches. We felt listened to.

Our only very small issues were that we were not initially clear on the cost separation between the new extension and the original part of kitchen (in our mind it was all one room). This, possibly, could have been made clearer. We'd also have loved more help making the project more sustainable too - recycling, support on reconfiguring and reuse / advice on greener materials etc. - even though this may have added to the budget.

But overall - I would very enthusiastically recommend Plus Rooms! They were highly efficient, great to deal with, have extremely good and considerate contractors and stick to their schedules. Pretty much the best contractors I've ever worked with.

We found Plusrooms to be a delight from the beginning of our project right to the end… We felt listen to and encouraged with our thoughts on a space that we felt a bit stuck with… It was important to us that we had clarity and professionalism from the off and they really hold that as a company… The build was as smooth as we could’ve imagined and the care that went into the finished space of ours is there for all to see… I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

As build novices the prospect of doing a side return extension was a daunting one however choosing Plus Rooms was no doubt the best decision we could make. Their model and process took a lot of stress off our shoulders and limited the fear of rising costs. We found the team to be helpful, professional and very responsive despite our MANY questions. We think the end results speak for themselves and we are incredibly happy with our new extension!

It was a great experience dealing with Plus Rooms throughout the building works (three metre extension rear extension, downstairs re-model, plus utility room cupboard build and downstairs toilet move).

From our first meeting in which Plus Rooms came up with new ideas re the plan that we had not thought of, to dealing with an issue that efficiently and speedily, managing the project throughout very professionally but also in a friendly wayr, sticking to agreed expedniture agreed at start in the contract but outlining any other potential costs that could arise re further options that we may choose to select.

The building team on site were really good, professional, polite, tidy, and were a pleasure to deal with and great with our daughter and young son who both loved seeing them.

Overall, a hugely positive experience, and I highly recommended Plus Rooms.

Plus Rooms helped us with our kitchen extension and renovation. The team brought good ideas and helped managed the process throughout. The pros were they stuck to the initial build costs (especially in a changing environment), handled everything (plumbers, electricians, builders etc.) and were exceptional when it came to issues or even follow ups. The cons were we had to chase them initially on the planning (they had a lot of projects on!), they increased their quotes on the finishing which were all exceptionally high and there was a lack of co-ordination with the kitchen supplier (which you need to select yourself). Overall we finished 1 month late but that was mainly down to Kuchen (our kitchen supplier) but we are very happy with the final result and love the new space. The guarantee they offer is also the icing on top of the cake, but thankfully we haven't needed it yet!

We wanted to have an extension built without having to project manage the builders in any way. Found Plus Rooms advert in a local magazine, and checked some reviews on line before going ahead. To be honest, I didn't get 3 quotes, I just wanted to get the job done, and our initial meeting made me confident that Plus rooms would do a good job. If you want a company with a "Can do" attitude I can confidently recommend them - unexpected problems always occur during building, but it's the willingness to sort them out which marks the cowboys from the professionals, and the whole team was professional from start to finish. Our least stressful building project ever.

Plus Rooms completed a kitchen extension for us. We were really impressed with them in every way. We had a few quotes before starting and Plus Rooms were not the lowest, but we went with them as a few friends in the area had also used them and spoke highly. I'm glad we did, you get what you pay for. They were friendly, hardworking, conscientious and did a brilliant job. It was possible to continue living in the house thanks to the temporary kitchen they set up. They were communicative and helpful when a few minor issues came up but these were all resolved really well. The finished build is fantastic and we are very happy with the new space. We recommend them.

Plus Rooms was recommended to us by a friend and we are very happy they did. We did both our extension and our loft with Plus Rooms and found their workmanship to be excellent quality, their site managers professional and informative and the general experience incredibly smooth considering the work that was being undertaken. We would use them again without hesitation.

After doing a great deal of research in the area we decided to entrust the the project of extending the kitchen or our Victoria house in South London to Plus Room. The design team guided us on the fist phase of the project and plans were drawn and approved shortly after.

The project manager was super helpful and followed the project attentively, giving attention to finishing details. He even come to the site after hours on the odd occasion in which we needed help locking up the site.

The build team was very agreeable and good at communicating with the kitchen fitters (we used Dulwich Design Kitchens). They also helped us to transfer our wood burner stove to the front room area -this meant opening the chimeny breast
Slightly to fit the stove.

Finally, the finishing team, did a fabulous work with decoration and fitting the split brick and tiles. They interpreted our proposals well and worked late when necessary to finish the project by the agreed date.

The plumber managed to move all of the necessary pipes to fit underfloor heating in the kitchen area (this has helped us to save a lot in energy as well as to enjoy a nice and warm room). The plumber also helped us to fix the drainage of the upstairs bathrooms, he also moved the radiators to a different location and fitted a tap in the front of the house -used for watering plants in hot summer months.
The electrician and his team was also very good. The same goes for other companies recomended by them such as the door and skylight company.

Embarking in this project felt a little bit scary to start with but it is one of the best things we have done for our home. We now spend most of our time in this new shared family area and enjoy the light and sense of space.

Plus Rooms completed a side return kitchen extension for us. It is very much their 'bread and butter' and they know exactly what they're doing.

The building team and electrician were great. Very professional and friendly. We had full confidence in the main builder. The build was completed on time and mostly to budget. We did encounter some bumps along the way, but Plus Rooms maintained full communication and offered options to keep the build moving forward.

The only weak points were a change to the original quote after the soil survey and the plumbing team, who just weren't as reliable as the rest of the people involved.

We used the additional finishing services, which although very expensive, did mean the whole project was finished quickly and to a high standard.

Our friends recommended Plus Rooms to us and we have since recommended them to friends (who have used them). They just know what they're doing.

We chose Plus Rooms to build a one storey kitchen extension inc. utility/wc. From the first meeting to the end of the project they were very professional and gave us the confidence that the build was being done well. All of the people involved in the build were friendly, reliable and easy to have around the house. They did their best to minimise the disruption to us as a family (we continued living in the property) and we were extremely impressed with the temporary kitchen they set up for us. The project was completed ahead of schedule and we couldn't be more pleased with the results.
