Scam
Scam. Plain and simple. They make you pay up front to use their search, then it displays incorrect information. They don't have live chat which shows you how terrible their $120 poorly made site doesn't work. It just scrapes sites and displays them cached. Massive scam.

Poor performance compared to Skyview Pro
The simplest test of this service is to compare point.me to rivals. So, it was very disappointing to discover that skyview pro found much better alternative award flights every single time I compared their service to point.me. Point.me seems to be in a special relationship with American Express, Ironically, I found better deals for trips to Europe with roam.me that also made better use of my Amex Platinum points! Of course if you pick an annual plan they rip you off for a prorated refund when you discover that they are not so good. Moreover the suggested selections that they do provide are not easily completed with them, because they are trying to steer you into their $200 concierge service at every turn as well.

Mixed Experience with Point.me — Security and Process Need Major Work
I worked with James at Point.me over the course of about a month. On the positive side, he was extremely patient and flexible as I went back and forth trying to decide on a trip. I was definitely indecisive, and he handled that aspect very well.
However, the overall process left much to be desired — and for $260, I expected more professionalism and structure. I had to fill out the same intake form three different times due to apparent system issues. As someone with 25+ years in tech, I can confidently say this wasn’t user error. It raised serious questions about where my information was going and why it wasn’t properly received or stored.
Communication was inconsistent. While James called me at the beginning, later interactions required third-party authentication codes via text, which often failed. It would have been far easier and more secure to continue with a phone call.
Security was my biggest concern. Sensitive information, including my wife's birthdate and passport details, was requested via unsecured email. I was also instructed to change my British Airways password to give them temporary access — again, with no post-process guidance on restoring account control or removing James as an authorized user. These steps are obvious to someone with a tech background, but would be risky for a less-informed customer. The lack of secure data handling is, frankly, unacceptable.
After the final booking, there was no confirmation from James. I only knew the ticket was booked because I got a British Airways email. I had to follow up to ensure things were moving forward — again, not something you should have to do after paying for a premium service.
To add to the frustration, the survey they sent for feedback expired before our booked trip even took place, preventing me from giving formal input.
In short: James was helpful in some respects, but the Point.me system is disorganized, insecure, and overly reliant on user effort. I can’t recommend the service in its current form.

Well worth the cost - saved us hours of frustration!
Very pleased with Kevin's work during the Concierge process. He listened, worked to find good options, and communicated clearly and timely. We would not have been able to find the options on our own, or navigate the process as easily as we did without his support (he saved us hours of time)!
I redeemed my points for more than 10 cpp for the trip of a lifetime
Through the concierge service I was able to get the following:
JAL Business Class flight on their new A350-1000 from DFW to Haneda Tokyo, and a JAL First Class flight, on the same plane returning from Haneda to LAX. At the time of booking, the outgoing flight was approximately $8000 in cash and fees, and the First class return flight was around $13000. I didn't, and I would never pay that price though. Instead, I transferred around 67k AMEX points to British Airways for Avios points, taking advantage of a transfer bonus, giving me the 94k points I needed for my outgoing flight, plus $200 in fees. While looking for a return business class flight, Kevin, who was providing the concierge service, worked very hard to find and book the aforementioned First Class ticket. Except, this had to be done by phone, which he gladly did on my behalf. I then transferred another 95k points between my Chase and AMEX points to Avios again, and was able to book two flights, that I had set my mind on a few months back. Absolutely a trip of a lifetime. The concierge service enabled that, and it took $450 in fees, saving me easily over $19,000 in plane tickets alone. That doesn't include the time he saved for me on the phone, and finding the award tickets. I still don't know how he found the BA ticket for JAL because I was looking at the same time as him on the phone, and couldn't see it. So, using the service and not using it is like asking yourself if you would rather get there with round wheels or square wheels doing it yourself. Choose the round wheels.

Worth the cost of concierge service!
After months of unsuccessfully searching for flights with my rewards points, their concierge found us round-trip tickets. Your service was absolutely worth the cost.
Does the job. Quality support.
Pulling reward availability from airline sites is never perfect. This service really does though solid job for the minimal monthly fee.
Almost as important, they have solid support and actually address issues that customers experience. The site stopped working correctly in mobile Safari, the support team immediately accepted the feedback, and they had the issue fixed fixed in a couple of days.

James Lee, my concierge, helped me book business class round trip to Asia using my points at a bit of a late date. I was impressed with how he guided me through all the various bits that needed to come together to transfer my two different sets of points to the transfer partner airlines.
