Composite Door - we are extremely pleased with our door which was installed and in June 2024. We wanted to fully test the door in all weather conditions before writing a review and can now confirm that it has exceeded all expectations. After 2 years it still looks brand new - no wear, cracking, mould or any indication of damp. The door is fully wind proof when exposed to bad winter wind. Polar Bear beat all other installers on price, guarantees and professional customer service. We are happy to return to Polar Bear to help us fully double glaze our home.

John who helped survey the property was super knowledgeable. There was an issue post install, which is not uncommon post window installs - which John came out to inspect, and got sorted. It did take a bit of time to sort it as they had to have a specialist survey undertaken - the truth is they took full liability, got the survey done and got it sorted - would use them again.

John arrived on time and was really polite and pleasant. He wasn't pushy at all like some companies who just want a sale. Took his time to listen to what we wanted made recommendations based on his experience. The communication from the company has also been exceptional.

The process for ordering, survey, and administration was trouble free. The installation was done very well, quickly, and by a polite, helpful and efficient installer.

I had a quote from Britania windows who wanted around £5000 for a basic pair of French doors. Hi pressure sales,very bad experience. But then I contacted Polar Bear Windows. The same french doors £1400 fully installed, fantastic job. No salesman just a survey and a price. So happy,have recommended them to so many friends and will continue to do so.

I have dealt with Polar Bear windows of Bristol several times now. Even from covid times they have delivered a good service. I have had windows and two composite doors installed. They are NOT cheap, but the quality is obvious in both materials and security. Communication is excellent and their fitters are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. There has not been a single problem with a door fitted 7 years ago and it still looks good as new. I expect my new front door to live up to the same standards. You have to pay for quality, but in the long run it is definitely worthwhile.

Glenn was very polite, helpful and professional when carrying out the quote for our windows and patio doors. Whilst the windows look good and the fitters did a good job. I found the office staff very PUSHY, I had phone calls & emails on consecutive days after receiving the quote putting unnecessarily pressure on me to fix a date for instillation , once i agreed the quote and had paid a deposit I received more emails demanding payment to be paid up front weeks before the installation date, on the 1st day of the installation of the windows, I had an email demanding final payment from me, the works had hardly started. I was considering having other windows replaced by Polar Bear Windows, but having received threating emails for small final payment for windows and doors that have only been fitted in the last 4 days I would not use this company again nor I would not recommend this company.

Went to Polar Bear Windows to replace an old patio door with new bifolds. They had the best price and just as importantly their customer service and fitting were a really high standard. Great company will definitely use again.

Need to review to warn people 7 yrs on rubber gasket coming apart on bi folds which were chucked up. No doorstop put on. Rubber missing around window. Now they have outsourced to Britannia for issues which guarantee means 0 the cost for visit is £££ and getting hold of anyone is a nightmare plus the gasket is not one you can get anymore. Couple of top windows also not closing easily.

Door looks brilliant. Well priced, tidily installed. I'd definitely recommend them.
