I bought Well known garage floor paint
I bought Well known garage floor paint. I did what it said on the tin but the tin of paint didn’t do what it said. Ok floor dry tick floor clean tick floor dust free tick concrete in great condition tick. That’s where the ticks end. After a few days to let paint cure I walk on it to find that just walking on the floor was removing the paint total disaster. I managed effortlessly to remove the paint using a jet washer. Ok this is we’re Polycote came to the rescue they advised me in the correct paint to use and how to use and gave me loads of technical help. Purchased there paint arrived next day easy to apply two part paint two costs being honest the first coat was solid fixed tried to scuff it no chance but still gave it a second coat brilliant just brilliant and it did what it said on the tin. Amazing stuff thanks

Shropshire Grade 2* renovation
Shropshire Grade 2* renovation. I can recommend Polycote; I have had a very good experience. I researched the Damp Proof Course 2 part concrete primer. I then phoned their technical sales. They were knowledgeable and helpful. The product was delivered the next day. Application was simple provided you have the correct mixing equipment. The product cured as advertised and it now forms a DPC barrier beneath my final floor build up. Thanks to Clayton and his team at Polycote. Hugh

Great customer service, knowledgeable staff
Have ordered two items from Polycote over the last few months. Firstly degreaser for our workshop floor, prior to painting. Given the condition of the floor it worked perfectly. It was recommended to us by Vincenzo who was very helpful, efficient and polite. The second product was roof sealant which appears to have solved the problem.
Great company to deal with, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank goodness customer service is not dead.

Product failed! do not use!
Ordered 5 tubs of Jointex XFH, laid with no issues. Ordered a second batch and the product changed colour once poured and cured. Polycote have no idea why this happened, they replaced the 5 tubs, however our client was not happy the problem wouldn't happen again, as the manufacturer was unable to answer why it happened in the first place, so made us pour the product thicker to stop this bleed through happening again. We asked Polycote to supply another 2 tubes to cover this as we had paid all the labour costs to change this, they point blankly refused, saying it was a client change and not their fault, I asked what if we'd poured it the same thickness as before and it changed colour again what would happen then? we would have to pay labour again to change it. Customer service just didn't care, and said it was a client change of spec and they are not responsible. Had the product not failed in the first place we would not be in this position. USE WITH CAUTION BECAUSE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS!

We are very sorry that you feel the need to post a bad review of our company however, I would like to point out that we do care about our customers and we are always looking to improve. As we have discussed many times over the phone, we do not understand why the product changed colour however, when we tested a unit from the same batch at our office the product cured absolutely fine and with no problems at all. After nearly 3 months of the trial being laid in 3 different applications/conditions the product is still absolutely fine with no discoloration at all. From this we can only presume that the conditions at the time of when you laid the product affected the end result. We have offered to send you samples of the product we tested to prove this.
Even though we do not believe this was a product fault we still chose to completely replace the product FOC as a gesture of goodwill and the only reason we charged for the extra 2 units is because the joints you were filling needed more material due to their size. This is outside of our control and is not something we can be expected to supply FOC.
If you wish to discuss this matter further, please don't hesitate to contact our team.

I had a new roof installed and the builder selected the wrong colour tiles. When I returned to the property I clearly wasn't happy. We contacted Polycote and spoke Vincenzo. He recommended a the Roof Tile Coat paint that could be used to paint or spray onto the tiles. It worked a dream and the finished colour was even better than the original tile colour we had expected. Good service too as the courier damaged the first shipment in transit and another was promptly sent out. Thanks!

I used Polycote to epoxy some floors in my garage.
I used Polycote to epoxy some floors in a restaurant about 2 years ago and the results were great, although we had a few teething problems at first; the results were great and the Flortex Freeflow covered over every imperfection in our concrete.
I decided to use them again for a home project and have e-mailed many times to ask advice on various technical issues i ran into and have found them very helpful.
The products are very good and the staff friendly.

Very good quality products
I bought all the products I need to fix the floor in my brewery, products are really good quality and the sales team were very accommodating with the delivery.
The only thing it was before purchasing I needed some advice and reassuring about the products and it took a bit longer to get the information. However the advisor was extremely knowledgeable and helpful

Flortex Professional and WD Primer. Extremely impressive products
I have used many types of flooring over the years.But this was my first project with Epoxy resin. Admittedly I did do a lot of shopping around locally and on the internet. Thankfully I came across Polycote.
There customer service is very high standard and I initially used there chat service which is extremely responsive and all my answers were promptly addressed in a competent manner. I also made a few email queries which were dealt with helpfully.In particular I found Zach Britchford really helpful.He was able to provide good advice. It was with this customer service team that directed me to use Flortex Professional with WD Primer.
This is top notch product which I applied by myself.It does have a very professional finish which has impressed all that have seen in so far.I used it in a new basement conversion.My advice would be to read the instruction for application and coverage very carefully as they are very precise. The setting times are extremely precise and the product does set as stated.So you may wish to get some help to apply the product in order to apply it within time.Usage is precise to the ml.
Totally happy and glad I didn't try to save money by going for a cheaper product.
