As a Christmas gift for my husband, I commissioned Kate to create an oil painting of my husband and me from our wedding photo. Kate was able to maintain a high level of detail of our figures while also making the outdoor scenery (sprawling farm land with a sunset) around us look even more beautiful than the original picture. She was also transparent with the timeline for completing the painting, and she reviewed with us a proof of the painting before creating and shipping the final version.
