Prompt, friendly & beautiful experience with the team always!

I ordered the small bowl online and when it arrived, it is very cute, but is soooo much smaller than it looked in the photos. It was hard to tell which photos were the small bowl and which were large, and the size depiction compared to real life really doesn’t compare. It’s maybe a child size meal or adult snack. Unfortunately the bowl won’t really hold enough for my lunch which is what I bought it for. Not if I want to put a nice salad in it. They require you to pay for postage to return it and will send the larger one back, postage included and bill for the price difference, but for such an expensive bowl at that size, I’m really feeling like no option to try and solve the problem is worth it. It was already $22.00 for postage to receive it, so $66.34 including postage…! for the small bowl. Feeling really ripped off and really disappointed I chose to shop with them and even fork out that much for postage in the first place. By the time I send it back, if it costs the same as to receive it, I could have bought 2 bowls!!! Now I’m stuck with a bowl that cost a small fortune and really have no use for. That in itself feels like a waste. Maybe wait until you can find something in store and don’t risk it online.

8/9/23 I can't seem to find how to reply to Pottery for the Planet's message below. The issue I had with returning the bowl is the same as the one I had for exchanging it. The cost for returning the bowl means I loose money and it seems like an oxymoron. Your bowls are such a premium price, it wouldn't seem too much to ask to look after your customers. I'm still stuck with a bowl I don't have much use for. It's beautiful, but unfortunately just not at all happy with the online shopping experience. I'm not going to change the location of my review - sorry, but if this is your wholesale review place then that needs sorting out too, because it's not obvious and it's not up to me to sort that out. And to be honest, I didn't trust that leaving a less than positive review would be displayed on your website.

Quality is always spot on turn around time from order to delivery is always extremely fast and we love that everything is packed so well with recycled packaging. We then save the packing and re-use in the shop.

Love the pottery and the work! And of course love the concept but even with a normal temperature coffee my hands burn holding this!! I’ve had this happen everywhere I go! It’s impractical and had to buy alternatives. They do have a band but trying to buy less plastic and they do take away from the look of the cup! Customer service isn’t the friendliest either.
