Their support for freelance journalists is atrocious. They never reply to my emails or chats despite me sending messages, then follow up messages. They used to offer support on WhatsApp but dont do that anymore. I feel like I've been ghosted by them. Its disappointing because I did actually make money from 1 photo I sold. But the app is also so glitchy. There's no phone number for support that I can find anywhere. They even have the cheek to say they're available 24/7 which is a total lie.

Supporting freelance journalists and everyday people to earn money from their content is at the heart of what we do, so we're sorry to hear that your recent experience has left you feeling disappointed.
We've looked into your account and can see that your previous support enquiries were responded to promptly. However, we also identified one message sent via the in-app chat on 9th July that unfortunately didn't receive a reply, and we'd like to sincerely apologise for that oversight.
Regarding WhatsApp, we've recently updated our support channels. If you've been contacting an older WhatsApp number, it's possible those messages didn't reach our team, and we're sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
We're also sorry to hear you've experienced technical issues with the app. We're continually improving the platform, and feedback like yours helps us identify areas where we can do better.
A member of our team will personally investigate the issues you've raised, answer any questions, and directly contact you via email to get everything resolved. We'd really appreciate the opportunity to turn your experience around.

Has no idea what it is, confusing and bad UX
This has absolutely no idea what it is, goes on about workplaces then journalism then says people made money? How? There's no list of brands/ media/ businesses signed up, or list of 200,000 people on the ground. Ridiculous scam with many fake reviews

Users can earn money by submitting exclusive news, photos and videos, or by completing on-demand tasks posted by publishers and newsrooms looking for content from specific locations.

I was very much fascinated at first seeing the idea behind citizen journalism, how both citizen and the media benefits through a single app. The app itself is very user friendly and is very easily accessible to anyone using it for the first time. Had a great experience!!

Been on PressHop for just over a week made £130 already!
Been on PressHop for just over a week, had a few small technical issues at the start but after reaching out and speaking to Upasana those were quickly fixed and in 11 days I’ve made £130 that I’d of never had. Just snapping whatever I’ve seen whilst out and about. Today I was payed for completing a task they set, top app. Brilliant idea, I’m hooked !

My new hobby and the most innovative…
My new hobby and the most innovative app i have seen in years. I took a real time photo which i got paid for ! My camera is always at the ready and i enjoy seeing others’ photos too as they are real (unlike a lot online these days ) simple to navigate and better than my other “hobbies” presshop i salute you ⭐️

The PressHop App download and process is simple, clear, and completely stress-free. From the moment you sign up, the app makes everything easy to understand and guides you through each step.
Within minutes you have joined the growing thousands of Hoppers taking photos of newsworthy events as they happen, and earning money at the same time!!
What impressed me most was how fast and professional the service is. Stories are published in no time, and the quality of the coverage is amazing!!
The communication was excellent — friendly, fast, and genuinely helpful. You can tell PressHop care about doing a great job and making sure their ‘Hoppers’ are happy.
