Great experience with supportive service
Timely delivery of funds, friendly customer care support. Also, the repayment starts a year after the end of the program, so students don't have the burden of repaying the interest during studies or job finding.

Grateful for the loan but painful to interact with.
Grateful for the loan - but the repayment experience is really poor.
I've been repaying my US university loan with Prodigy for the past few years and its a monthly headache interacting with them. You can't do a direct debit if repaying in a different currency so you have to go one a month and wire transfer.
I work in payments myself and I know this could be alot easier than it is.
They've stopped sending me my PDF report each month so I have less transparency and don't know how much is left, what fees i'm paying, etc. Reset password never works and UI needs a complete overhaul.
Don't get me started on the interest - its extortionately high - but we'll leave that aside - its a student loan - we know what the deal is.

Why would you cancel my loan and stop funding me after 1st semester idk why u guys did this and I’m suffering in United States without a loan and all i can say is you guys are responsible what you have done.
I suggest everyone not to choose prodigy finance for your education loan.

Inconsistent and Irresponsible
I am taking a two-year master program and took my first-year loan through Prodigy. Then when I applied for the second year (which they conditionally approved before), the process was smooth and I got matched, paid my $500 fee and received my unconditional confirmation letter.
However, I then read on their website that they will not fund students outside of India anymore and I have emailed them to check. They have assured me that my application was okay and it wouldn't be affected by the new "terms", and that my loan agreement would be issued 4 weeks before my second year's start date. But they changed my application status to "On Hold".
Later on, when I emailed to check for the application status, they replied that they couldn't provide me with the loan anymore, and my application was cancelled!
Now I am lost and cannot fund my further study anymore, all my time in the last year has been a waste! They keep advertising for new loans but they should prioritise students who are in the middle of their study (which Prodigy has funded half of them).

A simple loan application filled with constant stress and follow-up. Started my application 3 months back, completed all formalities including the video kyc, still the loan agreement hasn’t happened. They could improve.
