My experience with Progressive Parts and the delivery service handling my order has been incredibly disappointing from start to finish.

I ordered a car diffuser which cost me £230. Unfortunately, when the diffuser arrived, it was damaged. The plastic wrapping around the item was completely intact, which raised serious concerns that the damage may have already been present before the item was packaged. The box was also shallow and had very little protective packaging, which certainly did not give me confidence that the item had been adequately protected.

I contacted Progressive Parts expecting the issue to be handled professionally and resolved promptly. Instead, I have been left chasing updates and waiting for a resolution.

On 1 October, Progressive Parts informed me that the matter had been raised with the courier and that they would contact me as soon as they received an update. It is now 9 October, and I have been told that they have to come and get the diffuser and refund me whenever they receive it. Even though before hand they advised they would send me a replacement out but it would take 28 days.

To make matters even worse, I have now spent my morning sitting at home waiting for the delivery company to collect the diffuser, only to receive a notification stating that the collection was unsuccessful? Nobody knocked on my door, rang the doorbell or made any apparent attempt to collect the parcel. I was home and available the entire time, so I find it incredibly frustrating that a collection can be marked as unsuccessful when no attempt was made.

What should have been a straightforward purchase has turned into weeks of frustration, disappointment and unnecessary inconvenience. I understand that issues can occasionally happen, but it is how they are handled that matters. Between receiving a damaged item, the lack of progress with the resolution and now the apparent failure to attempt collection, the overall experience has been extremely poor.

I chose to purchase from Progressive Parts, and as a customer, I expect the company to take responsibility for helping resolve issues with orders rather than leaving me repeatedly chasing for updates. Equally, the delivery service should be making genuine attempts to collect parcels rather than leaving customers waiting at home unnecessarily.

I am extremely disappointed with how this entire situation has been handled. The fact that this was a gift makes the experience even more upsetting, and the continued delays have taken away from what should have been a positive experience.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this experience to others. I hope Progressive Parts takes this complaint seriously and that both the customer service and delivery issues are properly addressed.

I ordered coil packs for my car and was contacted to say they were out of stock and was recommended another set. Got them, was refunded the rest of the balance the same day and the parts arrived and are in my car in less than 48hours. Great communication from them and no issues with the parts. Thank you.

I had a really disappointing experience with Progressive Parts. I understand their return policy is 14 days, and I’m not asking them to ignore their policies completely. However, I contacted them after about 3 weeks, which I honestly don’t think is an unreasonable amount of time, especially considering the diffuser was never even opened or used.

Despite explaining the situation, they refused to make any exception or even try to help. It’s frustrating because the item is in brand-new condition, and a little flexibility would have gone a long way.

What’s most disappointing is that I was planning to buy many more parts from them as I’ve just started my project. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my mind. Instead, I ended up buying from another seller who provided much better customer service.

Customer service matters just as much as the products you sell, and sadly, this experience fell well below my expectations.

Got the Audi A6 C8 Sline rear valance with quad tips and I can honestly say it’s not straight fitting there is a lot of work involved in fitting it and modifications aswell as bonding u need to be putting this in the description of the parts that require this because I know for sure any normal person would 100% avoid it and the fitting kit supplied with it for fitting is useless

I bought a panel filter for my Mk7.5 Golf R, unfortunately, I've ordered the wrong one. My fault entirely, I get it.

That said, the item is still in all of it's original packaging and hasn't even been removed from the plastic sleeve in the box. I contacted this company to ask to return it for an exchange for the correct one but because I've had it for longer than 14 days, a jobsworth at the company quoted this timeframe at me and straight refused the return.

It's not like I wanted my money back, I wanted the correct item so they would still get the business. Now I am stuck with £70 of air filter I can do nothing with.

Progressive Parts employees clearly do not give a damn about what most people would see as reasonable cutomer service.

There seems to be a lack of comprehension that a good level of customer service leads to future sales. How short-sighted are you that you cannot see or understand that?

I will not be ordering anything from these clowns again.

Bought a splitter from this site at a clearance price. I wanted to amend the order to add the rest of the body kit (diffuser, side skirts etc.) but was told the item had already been shipped. I also got an email stating this as well. However the following day I received another email saying they didn’t have the item in stock and therefore I have been refunded. I complained as I was told the order had been shipped, the customer support couldn’t care less and wasn’t willing to honour the price even though I can literally go on their website and order the same splitter, but conveniently at full price now. As stated I was going to make a £500+ order which I will now go as elsewhere to make.

Not serious. After ordering a BC Racing RM coilover kit for my 308 GTI and driving the car for about 1500km, suspension startet to have a bad clunking noise. I have contacted them, but no solution. Then contacted directly BC Racing and they said that this suspension is only for circuit and need maintenance every 1500 km, information not mentioned on their website.
Contacted Progressive Parts again, and they said that they didn't know and they will solve the problem by sending me conversion to DS Coilovers, but after few days they did not replied anymore.
Warranty is just a word on them, not a fact! I do not recommend buying from them!

I have ordered several items from Progressive Parts over the last couple of months. They stock a wide range of items and are generally well priced. I have had one or two items turn out to be out of stock however they communicate well with updates.

I do recommend them and will continue to use them.

Used progressive parts numerous times for my fiesta St and Golf R and every time I’ve had very quick delivery and every part has been spot on. I’d highly recommend progressive parts and I’ll be using them in the future

My order was shipped next day and arrived very fast! Would definitely recommend as they seem spot on. Only thing that would be good is if they maybe had a phone number to call, but otherwise spot on! Will definitely use you guys again 👍🏼

Had an R600 intake supplied and fitted by progressive parts. Sounds really good. I’ve been going here for years and had 90 percent of my mods done here. Would recommend.

Put my reg in to their system for a haldex service kit for audi a3 2005 3.2v6. Ordered the parts they said were for my car and received them only to find out they have sent my a haldex gen 4 kit instead of a haldex gen 2 kit. I go on to their website to return the item but I have to apply for a returns number, hit apply but nothing happens at all and i dont want or have time to be phoning people to get fobbed off. So I have checked reviews and this seems to be a normal thing for this company. I advise other customers not to use Progressive parts.

Bought parts from this outfit parts were faulty. Sent them back now there not going to refund me. Stay well clear of them wouldn’t go near them with a barge pole

Website shows "Low stock" estimated dispatch 2-3 days.

Coming upto 2 weeks now and still no "Lead" time available on my order.

Website should not have such misleading stock or dispatch times.

I ordered a rear Diffuser for my 2016 Seat Leon Fr.
The part was not in stock and was advised via email it had to be ordered from Poland and to wait several weeks..
Then I received a part that didn’t fit my car due to standard Leon and Fr Leon being different fitment.
This is not stated anywhere whilst purchasing these items I may add !
And because it’s out the 14 day return window they don’t accept my return.
Even if they could it would be a credit note to spend in their store !
Took my money and use bullying tactics to avoid solving any issues.

Simon and the team were extremely knowledgeable, and advised which parts would be beneficial for a track day I had coming up in the Golf. Got the bits out to me next day. Would use again. Perfect!

Ordered 5 spark plugs for my RS3, only dispatched 4. Very unhelpful on email, asking me to return the 4 in order for them to dispatch the single spark plug that was missing, how does that make any sense?? Don’t order from here unless you want bits of your order to be missing!! Claimed they have “CCTV” footage of all 5 being packed yet they won’t send me this. Also how can it be possible they packed all 5, when the package came fully sealed upon delivery? AVOID at all costs.

Service from progressive parts was great. However i ordered the r600 carbon air intake system and i am far from happy with the product after a month on the car. These are not oem fitment or quality. Firstly the air filter itself does not sit tight in the opening it moves a lot under revs. The filter itself moves up and down as much as 1cm. This air intake at the front is warped and does not sit well on the underside piece. Central of this air intake is a lot of movement. I had to put a piece of tape to reduce this excess movement. There is a screw fixing on the underside but no screw hole to attach the top piece to the bottom. Not worth the money they retail for! Your website does not allow me to contact you directly, form asks for a 6 number order id my order number was only 5 numbers so cannot complete form on your website. Followed fitting instructions and still not a good fit.
