These guys were great! From the initial contact all the way through the delivery of our kitty I could not have asked for more. The staff was responsive, the process clear, they did all I asked for and more. Our kitty arrived in perfect condition. He had a little cough and his eye was watery but our vet said this is completely normal due to the stress of travel. All in all, if I were to buy another cat I would come back again and if anyone asked for a recommendation I would definitely give it.

Buyer Beware!
I purchased a kitten from this company a few weeks ago and immediately noticed serious health concerns upon bringing him home — he was visibly limping and had stitches protruding from his genitalia. I contacted the company right away, providing videos as proof.
I was instructed to take him to a veterinarian, which raised an immediate red flag: how did their own vet clear him for release without catching these issues? My vet confirmed the limping and was alarmed by the protruding stitches, noting that cats groom themselves constantly and would inevitably chew on exposed stitches — a serious risk. The stitches were removed, and additional testing was recommended to determine the cause of the limping. A full veterinary report was documented and submitted to the company.
Since then, the response has been deeply disappointing. While this company is extremely responsive when it comes to selling kittens, they become virtually unreachable once a problem arises. They repeatedly cite an internal “review process” with no timeline or resolution in sight. Despite multiple requests for a simple courtesy call to discuss the matter, I have been ignored.
The lack of urgency, transparency, and basic professionalism — especially involving an animal’s welfare — is unacceptable. Do your due diligence before purchasing from this company.

The kitten was picked up on the morning of April 18th, not April 19th as stated. Accordingly, the “5 days from delivery” reference is factually incorrect. I contacted the merchant the same day — April 18th at 3:45 PM — with my concerns, and submitted video evidence on the morning of April 19th. The first available veterinary appointment was Monday, April 20th, as no weekend appointments were offered. The complete veterinary report was emailed the following day.
I have fully met my obligations by providing both video documentation and a formal veterinary report. I will not be accepting any financial responsibility for additional diagnostic testing, as this situation is the result of the merchant’s negligence, not mine.
The matter remain unresolved, I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and will be pursuing all available legal avenues as well.

I purchased a Sphynx kitten from a breeder located in Brooklyn NY thru purebredkittens in November and unfortunately had a very serious experience that future buyers should be aware of. The kitten arrived coughing, and within days my veterinarian confirmed she was positive for multiple infections, including Mycoplasma — a lifelong condition. My vet advised that these illnesses were present before she came to my home.
The breeder attempted to send prescription medication through the mail, which is not legal, and insisted the kitten only had a minor upper respiratory issue. Shortly after, my healthy 4.5‑year‑old Sphynx contracted the same infections and required emergency ICU care. She also tested positive for everything the kitten carried.
When I informed the breeder, I was told that I “should have mentioned” having another cat — but a healthy kitten should not pose a risk to any household. My veterinarian believes other cats from this breeder are likely dealing with similar issues.
Both of my cats are now on long‑term medication and will have flare‑ups for life. This has cost thousands of dollars and has permanently impacted my ability to bring any new cats into my home.
We are considering a lawsuit, we have all conversations between us and the breeder as well as rep from Purebredkittens. Also, we learned that NY has a lemon law for selling sick animal's that protects the buyers.
I am sharing this so others can make informed decisions. My experience was extremely disappointing and has had lasting consequences for my pets and my family.

I adopted my Maine coon kitten on February 3, 2026. I received our kitten’s weekly video updates on schedule which my family and I really appreciated. However, there was a major lack of transparency regarding certain details of the adoption. For example, I asked when was he being neutered, crickets?? I also asked if his hearing was checked …..nothing. I begin to feel very anxious and nervous. This intensified when my delivery date was pushed back THREE times. Initially we were told that we could expected to get him at the end of March. At this point he would be a little over 5 months. When I inquired, they told me that delivery was delayed 3 weeks due to him needing a third vaccination. I was disappointed, but I understand that delays happen. About a two weeks later I was contacted to arrange delivery, I received a calendar invite and an address for pick up location. This was arranged on a Monday. For Thursday pickup. On Tuesday, I received a cancellation email and a text message. The message stated that delivery was cancelled due to a flight cancellation. This made me a little nervous due to the previous change and because I didn't not receive my weekly video update. To their credit when I mentioned it, the sent me another video update. We discussed delivery for the following week, on Thursday, April 22, 2026. This time they did not send a calendar invite. That Tuesday they contacted me via text and stated due to a vehicle issue they would not be able to schedule delivery on Thrusday, but for Saturday instead. They then sent me a calendar invite for Saturday, April 25, 2026 for 10:00am. On Thrusday they sent an reminder, this made me feel a lot better because this confirmed the he arrived and was in place at their location. My husband and I traveled from Delaware to the pick up location in Philadelphia, PA. On pick up day, April 25, 2026 we received ANOTHER calendar invite. I figured this was them recomfriming the delivery. So, we lefted as planned. When we arrived around 9:40, I took another looked at the most recently sent calendar invite and noticed they changed the time to 12:25pm. I immediately called to confirm the change and they agent said there were issues securing a vehicle due to multiple planned deliveries. To be fair I should have paid attention to the details of the invite but due to the multiple changes we had already experienced I should have received a phone call. We had to wait another 2hrs. They were late but I did receive a message stating the admin was almost there, and they needed to know my vehicle’s make and model. When she did arrive around 12:45pm. There were several others there waiting with us to pick up their kittens. Each kitten they delivered were absolutely beautiful. We were they last to get our little guy. HE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! It hasn't been a full 24hrs since we picked him up but he is very alert, playful and seems to be healthy. Although he is a little skinnier than I would like but nothing to be concerned with. Overall, I'm happy with my experience but moving forward I hope they are more transparent about the overall process. Our little guy came all the way from the Ukraine. Had we known this upfront, this would have eliminated unnecessary stress and worrying. My kitten was very expensive not to mention the cost of additional items for his enrichment that we purchased in advance. Hopefully, moving forward. Purebredkitties will take this review into consideration and implement a more transparent adoption process.

Not sure what to think of this company. I considered purchasing a kitten from them but did not - after I saw the EXACT SAME PICTURE of the cat I liked on another adoption site for $1,000 less. Exact cat, exact setting, exact pose. What are the chances of that? Of course my suspicions went sky-high as I wondered what kind of site this was. Made me suspicious as to just how "purebred" these little kitties were.

Why is your company threatening people not to make charge backs for fear of legal action in the terms and conditions ? Are you being serious ? You are threatening to sue people for making a legitimate charge back when you don’t communicate anything when we have paid a deposit? This is a scam. Thanks for the reply but I still have had no communication from you at all. No promised phone call ! No email ! No basic communication. Well thanks for clarifying that you are not threatening a charge back because I have made one. I have not received anything from you. Why is it you speak on here but are unable to email or pick up the phone ? I can’t trust a company where there is no breeder information given which I expected as a minimum, no timeline given, no communication. Yes it’s a scam ! In something as important and expensive as this the buyer has the right to real communication.If you don’t want charge backs, instead of me adopting a cat, I suggest you adopt a healthy business model where you are accountable to customers. I had no idea it would cost you 1,100 dollars to put a kitten back on the market. That sounds very interesting and scarcely possible. Better have the exact figures of that ready for my bank who are making the chargeback.

We have just brought a second Devon Rex kitten from Purebred Kitties into our home!! Our first experience a year ago was amazing!! In no way, did I feel insecure or uncomfortable with Purebred Kitties!! They were professional from the very start of our kitten journey with the amazing selection of breeds to the many conversations surrounding our choice!
They are completely honest from start to finish with the cost, the breeders, and the transportation choices they provide!
Both kittens we adopted are very healthy
and up-to-date with their vaccinations!
Purebred Kitties is amazing at building confidence and respect and continue to provide support as needed!! They are 5 star in my opinion and experience!!!

Very disappointing experience with Purebred Kitties. The information provided about the kitten was unclear and kept changing after payment. Communication became slow once money was sent, and important details like location and health records were not properly shared. I also felt a lack of transparency in the whole process. Would not recommend — please be careful before making any payment.
