I arranged a mortgage with Shawbrook Bank, Pure Law acted for them but charged me a good deal of money. PL failed to register the property in my name and when I complained, refused to deal with me on the flimsy excuse that I was not their client. Shawbrook came up with a load of rubbish explanations until proven wrong by Land Registry who I contacted. But Shawbrook and PL still refused to accept that. Utterly incompetent bunch of Clowns. Who as other reviewers state are quick to take your money and then basically disappear with it, by refusing to liaise with you. Stay well clear of both these companies if you have any sense. zero Stars

Why do they only reply to 5-star ratings but not zero-star? Pure legal ltd should have named PURE SCAM LTD...

Pure SCUM not pure legal they signed people up not knowing they were signing up to a loan company!! Hope you rot away whoever was involved in this scam

Lots of people were told they had great cases for various types of losses such as cavity wall, interest only mortgages and data breaches, on a "no win no fee basis". These clients foolishly signed up for loans, that were spent on legal fees and the money is long gone. These clients now owe thousands on these loans and in some cases are face paying the legal bill for the company they were claiming against. The directors of the company bought the assets of the old firm and have now started a new firm called "Your Legal Costs"

They have gone into administration and been taken over by another firm who cannot progress the case because the ‘after the event insurers’ who cover the no win , no fee agreement to pay the solicitors fees, have refused to fulfill their obligation due to Pure Legal going into administration and consequently I’ve been left to pay the defendants fees of £ 13,550

This company is a scam they make you believe its a no win no claim make people fool, they take insurance on clients names and dissapear gets busted, get you signed then get busted, they have done it to a alot people big scam want clients to pay out of their house asset or mortgage they are greedy fraud scumbags and cheats

What total waste of time … we where promised the earth .. and got nothing but excuse after excuse and the last one they used was Covid as caused a back log … this was over to years ago… now they phone is not on … avoid at all cost and do not sign anything because if you do tha will be the last you hear from them… 😡

Had a salesperson who signed me up to a no win no fee claim who promised I would get an excess of 20 thousand pounds and referred to other claims that received 30 to 40K.

He said it was no win no fee, Later I got formal communication through Pure legal who took on the case. The case stretched over 3 years where I had surveyors come out to assess the damage on the property caused by CWI installation which is clear that this was the case with the evidence in the report and the visual damage. I have lived at the property long before and suffered no damage until after the installation of the CWI.

Now that Pure legal has gone into administration I am currently left unrepresented and SSB does not want to represent me after asking me to pay the shortfall of money before they can attend a court order over the phone. SBB Law backed away from the claim and would not represent, even after I willingly wanted to pay them the shortfall requested.

I am now left without a representative and the defense has put a large sum up over 20k. I am left stranded on my own! not knowing where to seek help and advice.

Not sure what the citizen advice bureau can do or the ombudsmen

what a shamble all this is, not my fault that Pure legal went into admin the high court who should have given the option to cease all claims maybe!

I do believe a lot of other customers who have had their cavity wall insulation are in the same scenario.

Urgent advice needed. Pure legal was acting in my behalf following wall cavity installation since 2018. Now gone into administration. Took a loan out in my name which was no win no fee. Now they have allocated the case to be transferred to another firm SSB who have over 3000 cases. I have not consented yet as I wish to have a copy of the terms. Sbb have now informed me that if I do not respond within 14 days they will close it. However the finance still exists and states if you do not transfer over to another provider then I could be liable for the finance which by the way is thousands. Don't know where to turn

3 years and nothing. wouldn't bother go to a solicitor as this bloody company isn't, no win no fee, well if the fee is to small for them they just don't bother with your claim, rubbish company my advice, just get over it and more on.

I had a claim running with Pure legal since August 2017 .this was for a mis sold Mortgage .then had confirmation like a lot of other people leaving reviews on trust pilot .that they had gone bust and Clear Law where taking over .i have since got a email saying that my claim is useless and i will not receive anything as its been so long ...its marvellous that NOW ,Clear law have said this ......is it just to clear a load of old claims where Pure legal had screwed up ??

Pure Legal waS HANDLING A CLAIM FOR ME FOR HIDDEN COMMISION.My claim was passed to Clear law after Pure Legal went into administration in November 2021. I had accepted an offer where it was split to reduce my outstanding debt with the defendant and the rest being paid to me. The case was transferred and was told that I will get the majority of the amount that was offered to me. I asked what proportion a few times and was told a majority. I received some documents from Clear Law and Clear Commercial on the 21.02.2022 with a set of documents for me to sign as now they want me to use them to sue Pure Legal Insurance for giving me bad advise. No mention of the £3000 that should have been sent to me from the defendant. I call today 23.02.2022 and after waiting for 20mins finally got to speak to someone who explained the same crap as the letter but couldn't and didn't know if they had my payment of £3000. But then he went on to say that all the £3000 was paid to the insurance that Pure legal took out to cover the loan from Novitas for £20000 for their work.
Got an email from clear law to email them and someone will contact me.
I was suprised to get a call the next day from Tom Giles who explained what had happened with my claim.
As promised he sent me an email confirming the coversation we had. In the email he confirmed that £3000 was sent to them and has been used to pay off my insurance for the Novitas loan that Pure legal had taken out in my name in case of a no win situation. Also Clear Law confirmed that the defendant had agreed to pay my cost as well so the loan of £20000 plus with Novitas for Pure Legal cost will be paid to Novitas and I am not legible for any further costs from Novitas. This is what I wanted in writing since no one from Clear Law has been in touch for a few months. I decided not to allow Clear Law to sue Pure Law for my £3000 as they cannot give me a cost on that. I am happy that this whole saga has come to an end. The people who has made the most money out of this, is Pure Law.

Dreadful service run up a no win no fee loan in my name 10k gone bump now novitas loans trying to stich me up with sbs solicitors for round 2 and everything I ask .... blah blah can't answer that no win no fee they didn't win so don't ask me for anything

I need help and advice...Pure Legal have gone into administration and SSB Law have taken on my case, but after 3 years I’ve had hardly any communication from anyone. I wish to end this whole sordid process, as I need to move for work purposes. Surely they can’t hold me to ransom like this? How do I get out of this claim?

gone bust wow and now don't exist November 2019 took on a miss sold mortgage claim, in that time they took a bank loan in my name of £20.000 i was shocked, now i realizes the reason for the insurance that you have for legal cover they want, so they can take bank loans for, so they pay it, now its been passed on to another legal company im waiting for another bank loan in my name, this really is a con big time wile they earn big money from your insurance legal cover then they take 35% of your winnings that you probably will not get as its been 3 years for me now, waste of time, gone bust stay bust

I wrote a review 3 days ago where do we go from here? but only half was printed out as it mentions Pure Legal LTD was shut down due to the fact they did not look after us the customers, for me their closure was too soon, as my case had a date with the Courts on the 16th of November with Counsel booked, since then my case files were passed on to another solicitor branch which I have tried to contact via phone and Emails for an answer of result but nothing they, as Pure Legal LTD also don't know the sentence of "Repondez SVP" so where do I go?

Had a letter saying gone into administration, and transfer my case to SSB law , witch is just another branch of pure legal team , the insurance no win no fee should pay out as there was NO WIN. ,

They took on a mis sold mortgage claim for me from 2019, during that time there's has been virtually no communication from them, I had my solicitor/case handler change no less than four times, on each occasion I was not informed of their departure, and earlier this year I was told my case was close to finalising, now I hear they are in administration ! This is the best thing that can happen to them in my opinion, as they were totally useless. If I could give zero stars, I would. A new company has now been appointed to take over the remaining part of my claim. They certainly coul not be worse than this bunch of clowns !

A very poor experience with a duplicitous organisation.
I suspect that something dubious has occurred with this organisation. They have gone into liquidation but I have a bad feeling that this is going to cost me in the long run as I think they have not acted entirely correctly in my case
