I called North American investigations because I had a hit and run incident, the perpetrator took off. Because of my background I was not under any circumstances going to let this guy get away with it no matter what kind of danger I would be faced with. I was determined to get this guy. However I needed more information on the character of this person. Like whom am I dealing with? You would figure a retired ex-law enforcement officer and a 26 year Army veteran with two deployments underneath my belt would know what to do. Well when you are retired it’s a different story, you don’t have a team more basically you are writing solo. I didn’t know where else to go. I was stuck between a hard place and a rock. I needed professional undercover detective help immediately. I explained the situation to Darrin and within a matter of 18 hours I had a detective work with me. The detective a signed to me not only did he do his job but he was very into getting results for me and also concerned about my safety. It’s great to know that when you’re the victim you can rely on someone to get the job done. The only place I could say I have experienced this level of tactfulness was when I was at war in Iraq and Afghanistan. The support they rendered to me you can’t just get that anywhere.
