This was actually the worst mortgage loan experience I ever had! Communication level was horrible throughout my journey with them!! Staff do not care about their clients overall and my loan processer took days to respond to my emails. When she did respond she always claimed she was in a meeting and will call me back which was days later. Please stay away if you looking for mortgage loan with them. They will delay closing as long as they can & expect to close 4 months later. Communication level among themselves was also a disaster. They really need to retrain their staff & not have them working remotely. Worse experience ever! I was actually doing their job for them....
Stay away. This is a bad bank with crazy restrictions. $1000 max for one month and then $20.000 monthly allowance. STAY AWAY !!!
"Avoid this service at all costs. They impose exorbitant closing fees and numerous hidden charges that appear unexpectedly. Their conduct is entirely unprofessional; I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, not even an enemy. Furthermore, they failed to provide the final Closing Disclosure, and it appears they frequently rebrand their business every few years to escape their poor reputation and history of customer dissatisfaction. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.
My personal experience has been disastrous. After an initial bad experience in 2020, they repeated their mistakes on February 11, 2026. On a cash-out refinance of $243,300, I was charged nearly $19,000 in closing costs, 9.75% interest including numerous inappropriate charges. In 2020, they charged me $89,000 in closing costs just to lower my interest rate from 3.15% to 2.75%, which included $19,000 in points.
Worst of all, they misled me regarding Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI). I was told PMI would be removed once the home value rose by 20% or after 120 months. Instead, they placed me in an FHA loan rather than a 30-year conventional loan, resulting in a permanent PMI requirement that costs me an extra $600 every month. I feel terrible for having referred friends and family to them, as everyone has since complained about their unethical business practices.
During the process, they had me sign at least ten different versions of the Closing Disclosure (CD). I trusted them, but I have since discovered that the final documents provided at the closing table do not match the ones they sold to the subsequent loan servicer. I am currently calculating the total financial damages and intend to pursue legal action. I strongly urge everyone to question the authenticity of their positive reviews.There office Adress:

My name is Al Amin, and I closed my home on October 24 in Arizona. I was referred to Shine Showkat by a CPA in Queens as the best loan officer, and that recommendation was absolutely right.Shine is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and very clear with his guidance. He helped me not only with the mortgage, but also with inspections, appraisal, contracts, insurance—everything related to buying a home. He always explained things patiently and clearly.
What impressed me most is his integrity. He never accepts gifts or money and only asks for prayers so he can continue helping people.
I highly recommend Shine showkat to anyone looking to buy a home with confidence and peace of mind.

I opened a Money Market account with Quontic because of the interest rate. I must mention, however, that this bank has some unusual banking account policies.
First of all, I transferred quite a bit of money into my account however, during the first month they do not permit you to "transfer ANY money out". You may write checks, if you order them, ($32) but no transfers.
So I waited until the 30 days was up and then I was able to transfer funds into my main checking account at another bank, however the amount you can transfer via ACH is limited to $2,000 per day. I'm a retired banker (50 years) and I have several banking relationships. I can't say I've ever run across such restrictive limits but it's something to consider if you plan to bank with Quontic.
The next problem I experienced was with their Bill Pay system. I had to pay my real estate taxes and one other bill. I set up the first payment but before I could even set up the payment information, I was required to obtain a code, by telephone, from Quontic. This was not the normal automated code retrieval, which I've experienced occasionally with other banks, but with Quontic, you have to call and wait to be connected to a live person and that person must then call somewhere, while you wait, to obtain the code. I went through the process and then I questioned whether I needed to go through this for every payment I make. I was told that this only occurred because they had my phone listed as a landline and I was calling from a cell phone. The rep told me she made the change to my account and this would never happen again. OK, I chalked it up to another unusual policy.
I then attempted to set up another payee and, you guessed it. Same exact thing happened. I climbed through all the hoops and then requested to speak with a supervisor to clear this up but, after holding for awhile, no supervisor was immediately available so I left a call back request.
I did get a call back sometime later from a very nice lady who was very apologetic and assurred me that this should be cleared up on my account, within about 24 hours. I haven't had the time to set up any additional payments so that remains to be seen.
The very nice lady did tell me that, with respect to transfers to other banks, that the best way to do it was to have the other bank process the ACH transfer FROM Quontic, rather than having Quontic transfer the funds to the other bank. This, I was told, is permitted up to any amount.
So, in conclusion, customer service is good, interest rates are decent but security policies are pretty strange and restrictive. I would normally not write a review of this length but I wish I had known all this before I opened this account and so I feel that I should share my experience with others who may be considering this bank. I'm truly hoping for a better experience going forward.

I am a broker who works in Brooklyn and I recently sent a customer of mine who is looking to purchase a home to shine and his team. My customer enjoyed the service that they provided. Offered them coffee/tea and made them feel welcomed. Shine explained and went over the many options that Quontic offers and answered any questions my customer had. They were able to figure out the best loan option for them and were able to obtain a pre-approval same day. I enjoy working with Shine, Victoria and their team as I can rely on them when someone is looking to obtain a mortgage. I closed a few deals recently with them and I know they will get the job done!

Terrible experience with Shine Showkat, a mortgage broker with the company. My family and I had been working with him for sometime and my most recent experience with his unprofessionalism had truly left me speechless. During our last conversation, I asked Mr. Showkat for some clarifications and information to which he responded with anger, frustration, and yelling at me due to simple question and information I requested. "DONT TELL ME HOW TO DO MY JOB" were among his outrageous comments. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. Besides this, he was a referral from a family member, to which my surprise after we had decided not to proceed with him due to his behavior, he had gone on to complain about our matter with the family member, again a reflection of his unprofessionalism. Please Quontic, look into this matter of unprofessionalism from your employees. Will not be recommending this company to anyone any time soon.
I had an excellent experience refinancing with this company from start to finish. The entire process was smooth, transparent, and far less stressful than I expected. Nick, Ray, and the rest of the team were patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind throughout every step. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and provided true white-glove service the entire way.
Their professionalism and attention to detail made a big difference, and I always felt supported and well-informed. I will absolutely be reusing this company in the future and highly recommend them to anyone considering refinancing or looking for a team that truly puts their clients first.

Great company to work with! I was promised my loan would get done on time and it was! Great communication throughout the entire process! Huge thank you to our loan officer Joseph Allen and our processor Christina Caruso! I have never received a debit card from Quontic after being informed that I would. My daughter, Amy Brunton, helped set up my account a couple of months ago and she received a debit card. I have money to transfer to the Quontic account from my Credit union and would like instructions on how to proceed with the transfer.
