Jay Elliott (8789) was prompt, polite and saved us a lot of money! We had been told by Halfords that over £1200 worth of work needed to be done to our brakes. Rather than just going along with this to make money Jay and the RAC showed us some of the parts that needed to be”replacing” and assured us that not all of the work that Halfords claimed needed to be done was actually required, honesty isn’t something you always get when it comes to cars! In the end we only had to pay £320 thanks to his honesty and didn’t even have to leave home as they did the repair here! Never using Halfords again and cannot recommend the RAC enough!!!! Excellent service l broke down 8pm Friday night , got me home by 10pm , and arrange for the new part to be fitted by RAC mechanic for Monday , and by 10am Monday , all done , excellent service from srat to finish 5 star brilliant staff

The mechanic arrived at the advised time, was both polite and professional, the job was completed swiftly and to a high standard. The vehicle was left tidy and treated with respect.

Ashley was incredibly helpful & professional, asking if there were any issues within the vehicle before any work commenced. Kept in regular contact about any potential work that may have needed to be carried out & wouldn't progress without pre-authorisation first. Reassured me that the issue I thought I had with the vehicle was a false worry, but that a further job would be required in the coming weeks. I have taken this into account & will be booking for him to carry out that work too.

Excelent service overall , would fully recomend. You do need a drive to work on for safety reasons

I phoned Saturday and said the car had a fault. A patrol man was due to come out and then I received a phone call saying that the patrol man wouldn't have the necessary tooling and I was advised that for £99 a mobile mechanic would repair the car and I would only have to pay for the parts with a 12 month guarantee. The mobile mechanic hasn't really diagnosed the fault let alone repair it. I have paid £99 for nothing. I was told it would save me having to take it to the garage. I think this is bad practice

Denver gave good communication, he worked very clean and tidy and gave feedback on completion. Would highly recommend this service.

From start to finish the service was excellent and so simple to arrange. I was updated each step of the way and Shaun arrived on time and was a pleasure to meet. I would definitely use this service again it was fabulous not to have to leave the house!!

Have got the MOT at the end of the month and having just had a hip replacement, I was unable to get the car serviced as I would normally do. Found this to be a fantastic service that took a lot of the worry and angst away from getting the car serviced and checked before the MOT.
