Second time we’ve used them
This is the second time we’ve used them. Nothing was too much trouble. The communication was great, they are competitive, well organised and efficient. This is a large interstate move also requiring storage for a few weeks, so not a small move at all. I was impressed with the level of packing around our items and they were a friendly bunch of guys as well. I couldn’t fault them. Many thanks Ready Movers

The guys were friendly
The guys were friendly, polite very carefull and worked hard. I did some moving work when I was young and strong and I'd have been happy to partner on jobs with either of these chaps (Luis & Juan from Colombia).

Moving staff are great. Management are very poor communicators. Would not recommend.

Attitude check needed
The pre-packers missed alot of items the day before everything was uplifted. The team that came the next day needed HUGE attitude check. When we pointed out everything that was missed their response was "we're just the removalists, not the packers" . We had to contact our case manager in order for them to actually do their job properly.

Both the pre-pack and uplift crews are responsible for working together to ensure all agreed items are packed and moved properly, and the response you received on the day is unacceptable. I appreciate you escalating this with your case manager so the work could be completed correctly, but it should not have required that intervention.
We take this seriously and will be addressing the attitude and communication issues with the crew involved, as well as reviewing our pre-pack and uplift checking processes to prevent this happening again.

Damaged Item
Ready movers came 16 days later with our furniture, appliances and boxes of our belongings after the move. Got a small refund for how late the move was but for 16 days had to fork out money to buy out to eat from having no fridge, furniture and no washing machine so had to wash clothes at a laundry mat. When removals arrived after so long of no communication they wheeled the fridge in and told me to turn it on after an hour, on the outside at first everything seemed to be okay and plugged it in and turned it on after enough time had passed by. Noticed initially it was cold once it had been turned on and then I started to put produce and food items in the fridge and over a few days the food was not getting cold and neither the fridge or freezer was getting any cooler, tried changing the settings and still did not work, items and the fridge itself did not get cold and the fridge stopped working. Moved the fridge and noticed a bit of blue liquid had leaked onto the floor and around cords and a bit of corrosion. This has been our fridge for the past few years and everything was working perfectly before the move, clearly something happened during the move and now I do not have a working fridge.

Professional crew, fast move, poor time scheduling for bookings.
The removalists crew, led by Gus, were amazing. The 2 man crew were fast, prompt and careful.
Communication from the crew, while at the property, was good especially understanding what to move.
Unfortunately, the schedule timings and office communication was lacking. Potentially, overbooking or incorrect time scheduling when scoping removal tasks.
The crew arrived at the property 2.5 hrs after the schedule timeframe allotment. The arrival was close to 5pm and the move was finished at 7pm. That makes it hard having a young family and trying to move house.
I had limited communication from the office about when the crew was due or the delays they were experiencing.
We called multiple times to get an update but either the number went to voicemail or the office transferred us to another business altogether.
Overall, not the best experience but the job was done professionally and very well by the ground crew.
