Happily amazed by the eco friendly packaging

Sadly I have to write a bad review which really don’t like doing. Particularly in a company that as such great reviews. But when service is bad, it’s bad.
The main is they use parcelforce and Royal Mail for their currier services. I did not realise this until it’s too late.
2 days wasted on a delivery that never came. All rebel plants could do ask me to speak with parcel force. I did and the call went to AI services. Waste of time. For what I’m sure would be a beautiful plant and pot. I never got to see it. I don’t have the time for rubbish currier services that’s for an all day delivery.
I will see how quickly rebel plants get back to me on a full refund.
I’m gutted. I thought had give rebel plants a go. Seems the best way to buy a plant is to go to a garden centre.

We’d just like to clarify that we responded to your queries within a couple of hours and had several conversations with you to try to help resolve the issue. Your order was dispatched on time using the standard delivery service selected at checkout. Unfortunately, the delivery schedule is managed by Parcelforce, which is a separate courier company and is outside of our direct control.
That said, we did contact Parcelforce several times on your behalf to request updates and try to assist with the delivery. Unfortunately, we were unable to change or interfere with their delivery schedule.
We can see that the courier has now successfully delivered your parcel. We sincerely hope you’re able to enjoy your plant and pot and that you’ll be pleased with their quality and condition for many years to come.
We’re genuinely sorry that the delivery experience affected your overall impression of us, and we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to clarify what happened.

Recently purchased my second orchid…
Recently purchased my second orchid from rebel plants, the first one in May this year was a fragrant orange orchid which I purchased to replace one I had lost to the orchid mite which devastated my orchid collection! It's still healthy and the flowers smelt amazing and lasted 3 months. The second orchid for my birthday was a red and cream mottled orchid, Rebel plants advised the one I had chosen had all the flowers in bloom and offered me a discount or I could choose another orchid from their stock which I decided to do, I choose a lovely marbled pink and cream orchid, they advised they had despatched my orchid and it came the next day by Royal Mail, it was very well packaged and in good condition with lots of buds to come. I highly recommend Rebel plants as they obviously care about the customers experience greatly and take great care with their plants, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again 10 out of 10 for my experience, thank you

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish! 🌿 The plants arrived beautifully packaged, healthy, fresh and exactly as described. BAIT-AND-SWITCH PRICING & DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER SERVICE
Very disappointing experience with Rebel Plants.
On 18 August, I ordered and paid £70.79 for a Premium 100-110cm Sansevieria after applying a promotional discount. At the time of purchase, the website clearly showed five plants in stock at this size.
Several days later, after taking payment and leaving my order in "preparing to ship" status, I was contacted and told that the plant available was actually only 90-95cm tall. To be clear, my complaint was never about natural variations in plant size. I fully appreciate that plants are living products and that dimensions can vary.
My concern was that I ordered a plant advertised as 100-110cm, priced at £71.99, but was then offered a 90-95cm plant instead. What made matters worse was that this smaller plant had previously been listed on the website at £55.99, yet I was still expected to pay the premium price for the larger specification I originally ordered. In my view, the fair resolution would have been to offer the smaller plant at its original advertised price.
When I raised this concern, I felt my complaint was misunderstood. Rather than properly addressing the issue, and simply refunding the £14.41 difference in price, I was offered a token £4 refund, which completely missed the point. This was never about compensation, but about being charged appropriately for the product being supplied.
I was also extremely unhappy to receive an email that my order had been cancelled and recorded as cancelled at customer's request. At no point did I ask for my order to be cancelled. I was actively trying to resolve the issue and complete the purchase on fair terms.
The whole experience has left me questioning Rebel Plants' stock management, pricing practices, communication, and customer service and understanding of consumer law. What should have been a straightforward resolution turned into a frustrating and unnecessarily difficult exchange.
Unfortunately, based on how this matter was handled, as a first time buyer, I cannot recommend Rebel Plants and would not purchase from them again.
Follow up Response to Rebel Plants:
Thank you for the reply, but this does not change the facts.
The crux of the matter is simple: your system showed 5 in stock of a premium plant, but you tried to charge me £71.99 for a smaller £55.99 tier because you ran out of stock.
I requested the correct price adjustment for the downgraded item you offered, which was originally priced as £55.99, and is now £71.99, which I pointed out to you.
You chose to cancel and falsely flag it as "per customer request" on the platform backend simply because you refused to match your own live website pricing.

Hi Vanessa, thank you for the feedback. We don't agree that this was bait-and-switch pricing. We explained the situation as soon as we were aware of it and worked to help resolve it fairly.
To clarify for other readers: as live stock, plant sizes can vary between batches. The plant priced at £55.99 is listed separately, and the price reflects more than height alone; factors such as the number of stems, fullness and overall quality also affect the price.
We offered an additional £4 goodwill refund on top of the 10% discount already applied to your order. You told us that if we couldn't offer a £14.41 partial refund instead, you wanted the order cancelled and refunded in full. Because we felt a partial refund didn't fully reflect the situation, we did exactly that: we cancelled the order and refunded the full £70.79.

The best place to get a plant online
I found rebel plants by doing a Google search a few wks back as i wanted a particular cactus. So I looked & loved what I saw. Ive recently but in another order & again it came in 2 days, the plants are very well wrapped up i also had vases & they were well wrapped up. I emailed the office to ask a question & Izzy replied quickly & answered my question. I couldn't be happier with rebal plants & have recommend them already.
