They keep contacting me wanting almost £300 for nothing. I’ve emailed and tried calling to find out what this is all about and no reply. Just persistent emails. It’s horrible.

They keep calling even though they were requested to take our name off their system and they refused to. They keep calling and bothering. When asking to remove they argue with you. When asking for their name to report they hang up.

Avoid Company

Had a call from them today trying to sell me life insurance.
Having spoken to them before they knew my current health situation.
I told the call handler I didn’t want to think about insurance until I finished my cancer treatment.
She replied I needed to think about it now as it will pay for my funeral.

Sending scammy spam text messages late on a Saturday evening! Blocked as junk but no doubt they’ll keep coming from different spam numbers.
SCAM SCAM SCAM - AVOID!!

Continuous calls, every day from different advisors with bad attitudes trying to sell me insurance when I’ve repeatedly told them I am happy with my policies. Phone calls come from different mobiles so don’t show as spam. It’s a bad approach to business, even if I was interested a company with these sort of tactics would always be avoided.

Took over management of my life insurance policy when BeMoneySavvy went bust. Continuous nuisance calls offering to sell me a new policy and review my existing policy, which is frankly none of their business. Refuse to accept my position that I don't need their services and continue to call every couple of weeks.

Highly recommend ignoring their calls and refusing their services based on their business practices.

I enquired (much) earlier in the year, they decided to chase me up as a lead later down the line, but when I said I wasn't currently looking for their services I was abruptly hung up on without so much as a "thanks for your time" or "goodbye"

this company hounded me for ppi after they told me i had a claim with lloyds i filed a claim and then decided
to do it myself
sent email and 2 phone calls plus the paperwork saying i decided in the time given to not do it
went and did it myself year later they tried taking it to court to claim there 20% and lost the case
judge ruled in my favour
i then get a call from them telling me they are still trying to pursue the case after judge closed it
this firm has no idea about anything legal and i urge anyone wanting a ppi claim to file it themselves lots of help on google and its free

Red star are current managing several claims for me, one has been successful and has been paid to me which is really great. This therefore reflects the rating I have given. There are (sometimes) long periods when you don’t hear anything, however if you call in for an update there is always someone to talk to.
I would have rated 5 stars, however at some point during lockdown it would have been reassuring to have had an email or any correspondence to say we are working still and the claims are ongoing. I think you only receive communication when something is required because there is something to work on, which can leave you wondering what’s happening if not. I guess if there is a claim that’s not going to be successful, RedStar will inform the client and then close it? I think there are long periods between each stage though due to the banks etc and the pandemic may have compounded this. I’m hopeful that my other outstanding claims will also come through too, fingers crossed.

I was happy with the service I received off Red Star, when I first made contact with them, they talked me through the whole process and set my expectations and explained everything to me. So friendly and thoughtful. Yes, I had to complete their paper, but they helped me at every step of the way. Their commission rate is fair seeing that they are doing all the for me and helped me claim PPI. Once submitted the claim they kept me updated at all stages whether that was email or phone call. I didn’t feel that I had to chase them, they always called when they said they would even if it no news. When I finally got a payment, OMG how surprised I was. I received the payment very quick. A very satisfied customer. I trusted them throughout the whole process. Great staff and support

To be honest, I was surprised i could still even make a PPI reclaim. Red Star FM did a great job and i basically had to do nothing throughout the process. To make things even better, I have just received my settlement during these testing times with the corona virus and job security. Thumbs up from me!!
