I should begin by saying that I am always reluctant to post a bad review. In fact I always look to find the best in products, people and services. However, I feel compelled to share my experience of this shower. To be fair, I used them a lot over the years but most recently have seen a significant deterioration in their so-called customer service. I’m uncertain if they have employed a new person into the role, but they really need to consider some training for this one.
Having recently lost a pair of specs that they recently reglazed for me I sent them the original order asking if they could recreate that, and at what price. The individual that replied was curt and rude, telling me that I needed to follow the order menu. I politely asked if they would just look at the attachment I sent but they couldn’t even be bothered to do that, and gave curt, patronising responses. My wife and I had used the company on many occasions, and although I wasn’t expecting special treatment, I had hoped for a personalised response and a little support with my purchase. A bot would have shown more consideration and flexibility of thought. When I said that I was unhappy with the lack of support I was met with a sarcastic “no problem, have a wonderful day” along with a smug emoji. Happy to share the exchange for anyone that’s interested.

I’ve since spoken to others that have said they have had similar experiences. There are so many other providers out there so I would suggest you shop around...

My vintage frames (1940s) were returned with new lenses but the frames were quite badly damaged and there are marks on one lens which can’t be cleaned off. No mention of this and no reply to email sent three weeks ago. Very disappointing.

Lenses are good. Second time we have used this company and I can highly recommend them. Price is very good and got them back quickly. Will use again.

Fast turnaround, keen pricing for reglazing my backup pair. I'd specified highest refractive index lenses and they arrived optically perfect.

I'd asked if some refurb could be done on the frame at the same time - tightening of the spring/flex hinges and replacing the ear pads. Sadly Reglaze My Spex doesn't offer such services. I'd have gladly paid extra against a quote.

Very quick turnaround and fantastic value

I have used been using reglaze my spex for over eight years for reglazing I have always found the process very professional even on the odd occasion when my prescription was not correct I was able to return them for it to be corrected with no quibble or fuss the other major reason is the price point it’s absolutely so competitive compared to all high street and many other online reglazing sites. Would it be possible for you to add the Green or the mirror Green to your Xtraactive transition range as opposed to just grey and brown apart from that the service when I have used it works really well.

I have used this service every time I have a new prescription and they always do a fantastic job at a very reasonable price compared to other providers.
