Do Not Rent at Regus Cypress Park West – Dirty Office + Unauthorized Charge

I rented an office at Regus Cypress Park West for 9 months. The office was never properly cleaned or restored before I moved in. There was thick dust everywhere (including behind furniture), patched holes in the walls, dirty baseboards, and filthy carpet.
They charged me a $560 “restoration fee” without inspecting the office or doing any work. Their own policy states that retainers aren’t supposed to be used for invoices, yet they tried to hold my deposit hostage over this disputed fee.

After I disputed the charge and filed a Small Claims case (Case No. CONO-26-044544), they still charged my card $560.05 anyway without my authorization on June 15th.

I have a child with special needs and needed a clean, reliable space to work and write. Instead, I got poor maintenance, dishonest billing practices, and now an unauthorized charge. I am currently pursuing this matter legally, including the return of my security deposit.

The billing system is incredibly confusing with a lot of hidden fees. Don’t make my mistake and do your research. There are plenty of better options available throughout south Florida. Once you sign they will not allow any changes even if it’s within hours of completion.

I would advise everyone looking to do business with this company to run. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT, do business with this company. I signed up and canceled on the same day because I noticed they charged my card with unauthorized charges that I did not approve. They also added services that they did not disclose upfront when signing up. I sent a ridiculous amount of emails and reviewed their terms and conditions, which they claim they are holding me to. Nowhere in their terms does it say you are not able to cancel your agreement. Also, due to the unauthorized charges, I refused to do business with them. I never stepped foot in any of their locations, yet they are sending me a bill for $1,516.61 and threatening legal action. Mind you, this is only for two months! This company is a SCAM through and through. Trust me, I am going to do everything in my power to expose them to the masses because they are now harassing me in my emails for money I do not owe them. They prey on small business and bleed them dry and they are a large conglomerate. Most of these small business are just starting out which is why they have to rent a space. --- UPDATE-- I STAND BY REGUS IS A SCAM!!! if you are considering doing business with this company RUN in the opposite direction! This corporate SCAM machine is designed to exploit small business owners with hidden fees, deceptive contracts, and relentless billing tactics. I signed up and canceled on the same day after noticing my card being charged for services that were not disclosed upfront. They are not transparent as they claim to be. After reviewing Regus's own terms and conditions I found they were in breach of their own agreement. I notified them and requested termination under those terms. Instead of honoring this, they've responded with a series of gaslighting emails, doubling down on the charges and refuse to cancel; even falsely accusing 'locked in for 24 months' I am just happy that I was able to have my credit card company block them from charging my card. I will continue to speak out about this unscrupulous SCAM of a company and do everything in my power to make sure they stop doing this to small business's. The response messages under these reviews is a farse do not fall for it. Regus is a corporate predator that targets small business owners, especially those just starting out hoping that they won't have the legal or financial resources to fight back. Most of these reviews are of people trying to cancel their contracts even after their contract end date. I have gotten several threatening emails but I fight back and I will tell anybody that will listen that Regus is a SCAM!!!

Following my previous review, I was contacted by a Regus representative. (After I sent the email requested by Loraine Brule) who claimed they would 'seek approval' to cancel my agreement, only! if I removed my public review first. This is not an offer of resolution. It was a conditional demand: TAKE DOWN THE REVIEW AND MAYBE WE'LL CONSIDER CANCELLING YOUR CONTRACT. I find this tactic not only inappropriate, but highly telling of how this company operates.
Since then, I've received further emails that reinforce what I (and many others) have experienced: Deflection from issues, Evasion of direct evidence already provided, Repetition of false claims regarding account status and obligations, Intimidation (How many other have they intimidated to remove reviews I wonder?)
I have maintained full documentation of all correspondence for my records. This includes written request, confirmations and contradictory responses. All of which speaks for themselves.
This isn't a customer service breakdown. It reflects a broader pattern of behavior that raises serious concerns about transparency, fairness and accountability. Regus has found a way to operate like a corporate enforcement machine, leveraging confusing contracts, aggressive billing, and coercive communication tactics that pressure customers into silence.

I will continue to update this review based on developments and let the documented facts speak for themselves.
