The watch is a Uno
The watch is a Uno, 17 Jewels, it struggled to keep time and looked messy. I didn't have much hope for it. But happy my bad thoughts were proved wrong. RPB gave it an overhaul and now it is just fine.
It maintains its accuracy over 48 hours with one full winding although I am likely to wind it more frequently. Good to know it goes the extra mile when I forget. And it looks new. Splendid work.

A first-class service!
My Timberland watch needed a new battery (or so I thought) so I took it to a local High Street establishment who declared a contact had broken and it would cost a lot for them to repair. I was reluctant to leave it with them (I understand it was an expensive watch to buy - it was a gift, so lucky me!) so searched the internet to find a company that sounded trustworthy and had good reviews. Repairs by Post sounded reliable and I am glad I chose them - I reported the problem, they said they could carry out the repair, they quoted a reasonable price, I sent off the watch, it came back well within the advertised timeframe, it has been repaired, serviced and cleaned and it work perfectly! So all in all, a first-class service!

Warranty not Honoured
Sent my tag for a service 18 months ago and received a 24 month warranty. I have just sent it back as the day/date function is not working correctly and they have said that they will not honour the warranty due to the watch having had a heavy impact, the watch has never suffered a heavy impact!
They now want £500+ to fix it which will also give me a 24month warranty. But I now know the warranty is worthless with this company!
This is my everyday watch which I have had for 15years and is serviced every 2 years.
When trying to call them to speak to someone the phone line says that they are buisy and then the line goes dead. I have tried to call over 10 times and only had 1 call answered.
If you want a warranty that is honoured do not use this company!
If you want to be able to call to a representative, do not use this company!
In short, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Please rest assured, our warranties are honoured rigorously even after 21-months into a 24-month guarantee in cases of mechanical service faults arising from the repairs we undertake and not negligence. Your satisfaction is crucial to us, and we are here to ensure your TAG Heuer functions perfectly.
Regarding the issue with the day/date function of your TAG Heuer, we genuinely understand the importance of this watch to you, especially given its personal value and history. As previously discussed, our assessment concluded that the malfunction was due to incorrect settings that unfortunately fall outside our standard warranty coverage. This type of damage is a common occurrence but can be avoided by adjusting the settings outside the critical hours as outlined on the official TAG Heuer website and your instruction manual when purchased.
Despite this, we aimed to assist you by offering a partial repair as a gesture of goodwill beyond any other services offered elsewhere. We strive to be fair and supportive, even when the warranty terms do not cover specific circumstances.
I regret to hear about your difficulty reaching our customer service team by phone. We acknowledge that delays can happen, especially during peak times, and we are actively working to improve our response times.But hope our immediate response via email answered your queries. You could have always made a phone call appointment where our team will call you back at a more convenient time if we are busy.

I WOULD NOT recommend this company.
I contacted this company as the back of my Movado watch had been broken. I advised them Movado were unable to provide a new back as the watch (approx value £2000) was discontinued. I sent Repairs by Post the pictures and told them a new back wasn’t available. They said they could look at it for me and might be able to repair the watch.
The communication was very poor and I had to chase the company to see what was happening as after a few weeks as I still hasn’t received my quote. I had the misfortune to speak to an unhelpful member of staff on two occasions, he was very rude and abrupt and advised me the delay was due to Movado not getting back to him. I had already advised him Movado wouldn’t be able to help so fail to see why he wasted weeks contacting them.
He finally contacted me to say Movado couldn’t provide a new watch back(!) and it would be £19.99 to return the watch or they could keep my watch and it would be free!! I was absolutely appalled that a company would think I would be so gullible as to let them keep my watch. The final invoice for them to return my watch was £23.99.
I was say avoid this company at all costs, reputable companies DO NOT offer to keep your watch instead of repairing it!

Thank you for your feedback. We deeply regret that your experience with Repairs by Post was not up to the standard we strive to maintain.
To clarify the situation, After we assesed the damaged case issues we initially had to send your watch to Movado distributors in the UK. Unfortunately, they went into liquidation during this period. After retrieving your watch, we forwarded it to the new distributors, who also had to wait for a response from Movado in the USA. This process inevitably took time and involved administrative costs, reflected in the £19.99 + VAT charge for returning your watch.
At no point during the registration did you mention that you had already contacted Movado directly, until our phone call, which could have saved us all considerable time and effort. We always ask for any repair history in the early stages to avoid such situations.
As the watch is not repairable, we offered to dispose of it to avoid any further expenses for you. This service is free of charge. Should you not prefer this option, we offer to return your watch, as mentioned in our previous communication. We are truly sorry that this also upset you.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and for any communication issues you encountered. Our aim is always to provide the best possible service to our customers.

I sent my omega watch repair for a battery change ,.After over a month I started getting concerned.I was informed that everything was good and then they said it is with omega? and needs more work ?.From £110 to £1000
So I asked them to return the watch which was a task in the end my watch was returned and the battery was replaced and the watch works fine at the cost of over £40.00.Moral of the story they don’t repair your watch they sent them away so if yo have a high end watch use the watch manufacturer not the middleman

Your 1970s vintage Omega watch required specialist attention that could not be provided in the UK. This necessitated sending it to Omega in Switzerland, which you authorised after we guided you on the expected costs. Upon receiving the official Omega estimate of over £1000, you decided to decline the work required. Such costs are not uncommon for rare vintage watches needing extensive work.
Upon your request, the estimate was declined, and the administration charge was paid by you.
We are pleased the watch is currently working, but we advise you not to rely on this, as the necessary repairs were not performed and it was the reason it was sent to us initially.
We are sorry that your expectations did not match your understanding. However, the service we provide to find a solution is far superior to any brand, even if the watch is with them or repaired by us. We understand your confusion and appreciate your feedback. Over all excellent service
I would give 5 stars but the initial delivery was a bit delayed although this was not their fault. I found the service excellent. you have to remember that a watch is incredibly complicated and an initial quote might prove insufficient once the technician gets into the task. You wouldn't fault a car mechanic for a similar process. In my case what seemed like a simple battery change turned into a full service. That's just the way it goes sometimes and ultimately I have a lovely usable watch back that was just junk in a drawer.
