It’s a really easy to use system that gets the job done for many features a business would need. The fact that it runs on iPads and that you can access your reports and even edit your menu from your phone is really convenient. The web portal is also pretty great. And customer service is available around the clock and have been able to help us resolve any issues we’ve encountered over the years.

Revel Systems is by far the most advanced and comprehensive Restaurant management system as it is much more than a POS.

Proper recipe control doesn't exist in POS.

Scheduling is very annoying and we have had a lot of communication errors between our pin pad and POS. Revel and Moneris have had many phone calls but we are still having communication issues.

Love the way you can track live sales, average spend and new or returning customers

Revel has truly simplified my business. It is very user friendly and has boosted my business significantly due to speed and details of transactions.

Do not buy this system, if you have a retail business and use Quickbooks. They told me that Quick Books will update inventory directly with Revel but it doesn’t. You have to double enter everything. Revel cost me thousands of dollars trying to make it work. Don't waste your time and money. This is their response to my complaint. "We appreciate your feedback Jim and are sorry you were disappointed by the system. We wish you and your business the best."
They can't even get my name correct.

I haven't had much interaction with the Revel staff, my rating is more based on the POS system itself. It is very straightforward and user friendly. The reporting capabilities are very good.

Revel was recommended to me after the system I was using wasn't meeting my needs. Revel has the inventory tracking I need, the POS is easy to use, entering inventory is great, employee time monitoring is all GREAT. When there is an issue, the support is easy and quick. Glad I found Revel!

Would be 5 stars if updates were a touch less buggy - but overall easy to use, with a ton of functionality. Best of all is the ingredients/inventory capability.

Many of the issues that I've had to deal with have been resolved quite quickly. The only negative is the number of issues that we've had.

The service is very timely and usually rectifies the problem within hours if major and minutes if minor .

Customer service has no clue what they are talking about. They call at unreasonable times (11pm on NYE...WHAT?). Once they called and spent over an hour trying to fix our system...and then they realized they were working in the wrong URL. I feel sorry for whoever had to deal with that aftermath. They told us to restart our access point...then charged us for a new access point because you're not supposed to restart it. Dealing with customer service wouldn't be so bad if the system didn't go down all the time, but that's wishful thinking. We are switching to Square and I'll never look back.

We’ve been using Revel Systems for going on 3 years & couldn’t get along without their 24 hour help line. We’re not the typical customer but a small campground so we don’t have a “system admin” person as such. Revel staff was wonderful in helping us setup our POS & has always been willing to help with every issue we’ve had. They often have provided alternative/easier methods to resolve problems which we are very grateful for. Keep up the good work. My 4 stars is because there are minor issues we have which are not available in the system. Thanks

Too many problems & not integrate with all camera systems

Revel Systems is accountable when something is not working as expected and the system is consistently reliable.

The system is good, the support is not. You have to wait for ever some time days for they to answer and help you. They really need to work in this, when you are managing a restaurant and have problems, you need to have some one in the other line ready to help you. This is the difference between Aloha and Revel.
