Order that was supposed to be delivered 19th of Feb arrived 9th of March
I ordered the OUHOE Brow kit from Riveton, and was told it would be delivered on the 19th of February. A few days after the order was due to be delivered, I emailed the company to check what was going on and was told that due to high demand, the item was out of stock, but it was expected to be back in stock within 2 to 5 working days. The also offered me an extra 10% cashback once my parcel has been delivered.
Fair enough, I though, even though they obviously should have reached out to me when the realised they couldn't deliver on time (they also shouldn't sell items they don't have in stock in the first place). Then I waited ... and waited. A few days after this new deadline the kit was finally shipped, on the 28th of Feb, but after sex days I still hadn't received it. I emailed Riveton again and asked for a partial refund. They said they would increase the cashback to 20%, to which I replied I thought they needed to do better - I was not going to buy from them again, so this offer was of no use to me. They then replied: We truly want to resolve this matter, so if you do not wish to keep the product, please reach out to us after you receive the parcel. We will assist you with the return and arrange a full refund.
Obviously I have a right to return an online order, so to make out that this was some sort of gesture of goodwill felt like a stretch, and quite insulting. I received the kit on the 9th of March in the end, so if you buy from this company, don't expect them to deliver on time or be in any way helpful or proactive. This company clearly doesn't care about their customers.
