It may be helpful to note that all contracts originated through Roadrunner Financial use a simple interest calculation, meaning interest accrues daily on the remaining balance. When a consumer makes a payment, it first covers the interest that has accrued since the last payment, and the remainder goes directly toward reducing the principal balance.

Following your payoff, there is a standard 10-day processing hold before a lien can be released. Our release request was submitted to the state of Florida on 03/07/2026. While we submit these requests promptly, the update to the state’s database is subject to their specific processing hours and timelines.
Regarding the April date mentioned, the 4-week window provided by a previous agent is a broad estimate to account for standard mail transit. It is not a reflection of when the lien itself is released. We sincerely apologize for any frustration caused by this situation. We are pleased to inform you that as of today, 03/11/2026, your lien has been released, and a copy of the release was emailed to you. Please allow up to 2 to 4 weeks to receive your lien release letter through standard mail to obtain your title.

Please note that all fees are clearly disclosed before a customer enters into the contract and are fully compliant with relevant laws, rules, and regulations.
