I honestly can't remember why I signed up for the Roscioli Wine Club but it may have been because (1) I love Italian food and (2) I love wine. However, I have always found Italian wines to be more daunting than let's say French wines and the Roscioli Wine Club is a great way to learn about the wide variety of Italian wines. I've recently upgraded to the next level of membership and can't wait for the next shipment to arrive.

This is a service out of Italy that sends bottles to people like me in the USA. Some of these might be bottles or producers that I can get here, some are not. I value both of those types of bottles. The club has done a wonderful job introducing me to new regions, varietals, and producers. That knowledge has helped me make informed decisions about purchases in the USA as well.

This is not a slick marketing, internet 2.0 style wine club with colorful apps, and shiny dubious features. I understand that people expecting that may be disappointed. I like that communication is usually over email and they spend their resources producing excellent content and sourcing good wines.

What started off as a fantastic dinner (with wine-pairing) in the heart of Rome at Rimessa Roscioli in 2019, has continued-on in California through their Wine Club. The selection of wines they provide through their Club are special and can’t be found here. As small vineyard owners ourselves, we love how Roscioli highlights the “hidden gems” throughout the regions of Italy and provides videos and details of the families and staff who grow and make the wines, and also offer recipes to pair with them. We can’t get back to Rome fast enough to dine and drink at Rimessa again. Salute!

What can I say: I love this wine club. It started with the first time I attended a wine pairing event at Roscioli Rimessa in Rome a few years ago and has only grown with every time I open one of their unique bottles at home. Perhaps what I most appreciate is that each bottle comes with a unique story that the club ensures is communicated. Grateful to have met you.

Gave this as a gift. For the price, not impressed by the quality of the wines.

Best wine club ever! The selection of wines is amazing/unique, but that's really to be expected, right? What makes this club truly "fantastico" are all the little things (that create an amazing experience), e.g. each bottle has a QR code on it that links to a short video from the wine producer talking (quite passionately, as only an Italian winemaker can) about their vineyard, the wine, etc. The box/packaging was obviously carefully chosen as the wines aren't layered in - instead they're standing, so that when you remove the top layer of protection you can quickly identify each wine in the shipment (without having to unbox everything!) and to top it all off (quite literally) there was a "super" cool signed lithograph of a superhero (in this case a retired Superman) enjoying their favorite bottle of Italian wine; again, the little things... Also, as others have mentioned, the people managing the club are wonderful - I've had several great exchanges w/Lindsay and very much look forward to being able to do an on-prem tasting the next I'm in Roma (which will hopefully be soon!)

When the box is delivered we can't wait to open it and dive in! So many different types of wines, some I've never heard of. It is fun to try something new, something I would never see on a shelf and try. Then the classics as well. The videos are fantastic. You learn about the grape, the vineyard, the barrels, soil, etc. Each one has a history, and each wine maker is so passionate about their wine.

So Lindsay and Alessandro asked all members for a review and so far no one has anything bad to say. That is amazing as wine people are not afraid to give an opinion! I visited the restaurant in 2017 and joined the wine club when it started. I then opted to get two different shipments...what joy!

Do yourself a favour and sign up for the club, and visit them in Rome. Unfortunately I was unable to meet them in their US trip but...next time! Best wine club...mic drop.

If you want a deeper appreciation of the incredible diversity in Italian wine, then this is the wineclub for you. Roscioli will guide you through the major and minor wine regions proving excellent examples from each. You will also get insightful videos of the producers and their vineyards along with descriptions that help you understand how the wine you are tasting is related to the place you are seeing in the videos.

International shipping is difficult. I have been a member since 2017, and I’ve only had one issue with a shipment. They immediately worked with the shipper to make it right. Don’t hesitate to sign up for this wineclub.

We love Italian wines and loved dining at Roscioli when we were last in Rome. When we got an offer to join the wine club, we really didn't hesitate. This is our first and only wine club and every shipment brings lovely wines and a box full of memories. We appreciate the wealth of information that the wine club provides to subscribers - about the wines, the winemakers, and the vineyards. Since we can't travel now, having these wines in our home gives us a taste of vacation abroad.

We lucked upon Rimessa Roscioli whist in Rome back in March of 2019. We were visiting our son who was at Temple Rome for the semester as an Architecture student. The tasting there was one of the top ten culinary/wine experiences of my life, and Lindsay and Alessandro hosted the night like family - their personal touch and passion for the craft wines of Italy are unparalleled. We actually left that night NOT signed up for the wine subscription service, but after short consideration decided it was such a close, personal and friendly venue that if we were ever to participate, this was the context that we wanted to do it in.

The wine selections are amazing and nothing you can even come close to getting in Pennsylvania, let alone the USA. Lindsay and Alessandro curate the selections very well, and the videos and information that come with each wine are entertaining, informative and add a unique dimension which I am sure you would not get with any other service. Their commitment to those details shines through.

Despite the pandemic, we did receive our 2020 shipments and are still working our way through each bottle with deep nostalgia and yearning for another trip to Rimessa, to Rome and to Italy. I also have to add that they are very responsive to emails and communication - you know you are dealing with them personally, and not some staff member or minion (not that I would not trust them to select an excellent representative).

The shipping is via DHL and the packages come very securely packed and we have never has a bottle or box broken or any other issue with the shipping aspect of the deliveries.

Thank you Lindsay and Alessandro, and good fortune and health to you in 2021 and beyond! I hope we can visit again soon!!

We traveled to Italy in August 2019 and went to a food and wine tasting at Roscioli. We met Lindsay and Alessandro there, ate the most delicious food, but more importantly - drank the most incredible wine. Before this night, my husband didn't like wine. After a few tastings, he was hooked! We signed up for the wine club that night! Every few months when the shipment of wine comes, we get so excited and relive our days in Italy. We have 'date nights' and watch the accompanying videos that go with the wine we are drinking and try to pair the wine with the suggested foods. We have not had one bottle of wine that we did not like. The emails from Lindsay and Alessandro make us feel like we are a part of the Roscioli community and connected to Italy. It has been such a fun experience that only gets better. We LOVED the live virtual tasting a few months ago. I could not say enough good things about joining wine club!!

I've been a member of the Roscioli Wine Club for almost 2 years and just recently made the decision to double the number of bottles I receive. Why you ask? Because it's been impossible to beat the enjoyment I get from Roscioli's passionately curated wines even when I pay hefty prices at local wine merchants in Dublin. Every bottle is a new and different journey with Roscioli Wine Club selection, and every bottle is guaranteed to be a prime expression of what the label claims that bottle to be. If you're reading this review thinking "is it worth the money and waiting for my wines to be delivered?" the answer is ABSO-freaking-LUTELY!! To repeat the title, joining the Roscioli Wine Club has been the best subscription decision I've ever made!!

If you love wine and/or are interested in learning about wine, you will love this wine club! I’ve been a member for 1.5 years and everything they’ve sent has been AMAZING! The club also teaches you about the winery where the grapes are grown and the food pairing so you can best enjoy the flavor of the wine. It’s also very reasonably priced. Seriously, join this wine club!

I'm always looking forward to the next shipping as soon as one arrives. They send you exciting wines, with a ton of useful information in the accompanying videos. I keep recommending it to all my friends, sommeliers, and others.

Love the variety and quality of the wine. The communication is excellent. And it makes me feel connected to one of my favorite places in Rome.

Nowhere in the world has more variety in wine than Italy. But there are two sides to Italian wine: internationally-styled wine made by large conglomerates that could be from anywhere, and the genuine, traditional wines that have been made in the small towns and regions of Italy for generations. It is the first category that is mostly exported, but it is the second category that makes Italy so interesting for the wine lover. But it is tough to navigate all this variety--there are nearly 1400 different varieties used to make wine in Italy. This is where the Roscioli Wine Club really shines. Alessandro, Lindsay and their team have an unmatched enthusiasm for the people and traditions of Italian wine and they are able to find and share some of the best examples of traditionally made wine from the corners of Italy that even devoted wine enthusiasts don't usually get to see.

They are also wonderful people. We travel to Italy frequently and have spent short periods living in both Florence and Rome. Roscioli and its various satellites have been Rome favorites of ours for a long time.

Jan met Alessandro and Lindsay when she and a group of friends attended one of Rimessa's wine tasting dinners. A few weeks later, I arrived in Rome for a short vacation and we had a late dinner at Rimessa. A few people have commented on how Alessandra and Lindsay make you feel like family. I can't second this strongly enough. This was like dining with friends at home. We ended up staying late into the night having spirited discussions about wine and American politics. Alessandro does what I do at home. Once we started talking about wine, he kept going back into the cellar opening and sharing his newest discoveries. (Hint, if you think Vino Nobile is boring, try some Contucci.) It was a magical night we'll never forget.

My partner and I visited Rimessa Roscioli on our first, but definitely not last, trip to Italy just before the pandemic began. It was undoubtedly one of the best meals of the trip, especially for the wines we sampled - they really spoke to me. Imagine my excitement to learn that they offer a wine club!

We signed up shortly after returning home and will not be stopping any time soon. The two boxes we receive are the oenological highlights of our year. I honestly can't recall a single one I disliked, and the focus on small producers using natural methods means each wine is unique in the best way. I look forward to the stories and places behind the wines just as much, and the companion material never disappoints. Often I plan meals around these wines! Alessandro, Lindsey, and the team have not let us down yet, I trust their picks completely.

The customer service is top notch and everyone has been incredibly engaging, thoughtful, and enthusiastic about what they do. Definitely connect on the community.wine platform. We can't wait to visit in person soon, but with the wine club, the wait is bearable!

Being a 2 year member and living in Hawaii, shipping always puts a big damper on online wine purchases. However, Roscioli comes through with flying colors with the most reasonable shipping costs I have ever seen coming out of Europe. Their wines are spectacular and come from all regions of Italy. I love stumping my cousins that live in Italy when I send them pictures of the wines Roscioli sends because even they have never seen them before or can never get the chance to purchase them.
