It's a well priced, solid and functional timepiece. It works as an everyday and a sports watch. Good visibility and not huge on the wrist like many modern equivalents.

Rotate North do not refund returns
Rotate North do not refund returns. Buyers beware. I speak from direct experience. Item returned by registered post Feb 20 2025. Numerous calls to their ‘help centre’ are a waste of your time. No follow up happens. Spend your cash elsewhere watch shoppers.

Arrived to time
Arrived to time, at a good price. Why not five stars? Not totally convinced by the rubber NATO strap, and the first thing swapped out. But seems a reliable, sturdy timepiece, and will be my "go to" holiday watch.

No refund despite return
Returned a Tempest Automatic Navigator Watch (40mm) in perfect condition. No refund within 7 days as stated on website. This matter will be pursued.
Really poor call centre performance. One person ‘didn’t even know Rotate North sold watches’. Buyers beware if you need to return. Glad mine was relatively cheap.

The watch is quite lovely and made BUT ...
The watch is quite lovely and made with quality materials.
That being said, a few details could be improved: The "automatic" and "1000ft - 300m" markings are far too small, making them almost unreadable.
Another issue is the friction with the crown's grooves, which feels unpleasant.
A more thorough polishing of the crown would have made it smoother on the skin.

Second purchase and lucky with Rotate North Atlanticntic
After the Arctic, this was my second purchase I am again more than satisfied with the Atlantic. Fast shipment and again great watch. Massive and rugged as it should be as a tool watch.

The support is horrible
The support is horrible! Called them 4 times to sent me a return label but nothing. They tell always the same story but nothing happens. quality is also very very low..

We have no record of you contacting our customer support centre, or requesting a returns label. We do not offer free returns - our website makes this clear.
We also completely disagree with your comment about the quality of our watches being low - read some the reviews on this site and you'll see that's simply not true.

Rotate North is an excellent watch company. I have two of their watches and both are brilliant. I recently bought the Tempest Quartz and delivered very quickly is great shape.

Detailed Review
Watch is well made very strong case great bezel action I put it on my timegrapher and it was +8 sec per day which for an NH35 movement is very good, it has Great amplitude over 300 and 0.5 beat error very respectable. Also the rubber nato which I have several is the best nato in the business it is made in italy. I only have one suggestion that would make the watch better the crystal needs AR coating. All in all can't beat it for the money. Design is also cool.
