I have been trying to get a simple form signed for a month and a half. The last 2 weeks I have been waiting for medical records from another clinic so that the form can be signed. I have booked in twice now, called to confirm that the records were transferred before the 2nd booking and the receptionist didn't seem to want to take calls, told me "that would have been done on the day" and basically hung up in my ear.
Made a booking, sure enough, records are not done after 2 whole weeks and I have to now wait even longer to get a simple form signed.
The whole medical profession in Australia is going down the drain, but your receptionist actually doing her damn job rather than be rude to patients would be fantastic. When I went to drop off the form 2 weeks ago, I waited in line patiently for about 15 min while the receptionist had a good old chat with the person in front of me, loudly, about her breast augmentation, getting shown pictures and having a great old time... WHILE ON THE CLOCK
Some level of care would be good, seems like this place has about as much as a government department, not a medical centre.
