I would give them 0 if I could
I would give them 0 if I could. They happily took my money in October 2024 for an ASD & ADHD assessment, then they refused to send me anything regarding the assessment until I had discharged myself from my therapist. I was quoted 12 weeks from start to finish when I paid. It took them 1 month to send me the initial questionnaires, then as I didn't have any support, I had to drop out of university as I couldn't take it anymore. In January 2025, after liaising between my GP, my university and RTN, they sent me a link to book an assessment for February. I had little to no correspondence during that time. The assessment itself was decent, taking about 3 hours in total (credit to the clinician, not the company itself). At the end of the assessment, I was quoted 3 weeks to get the report. 4 weeks passed and I recieved no communication and no report. Eventually when I did get through, they extended it to 6 weeks, after 6 weeks I heard nothing. After prying information out of these people by emailing and calling daily, they extended it to 8, then 10, then 12 weeks. Eventually, 14 weeks post assessment, I recieved the diagnostic report after taking it up with management/the ICB. So a "12 week" timeframe was actually 10 months - and in that time frame I was forced to drop out of uni, I lost my job and my mental health declined. Once I recieved my report, shared care was denied by my GP so I got back in touch and they quoted around £700 for the medication titration pathway which I just couldn't afford as all of my money went on the assessment. Eventually I switched GP and was re-referred to RTN through Right To Choose. I was placed on a waitlist in July 2025 and given an appointment for October 2025 to begin titration. A week after recieving this appointment email, they got back to me and said they had removed me from the wait list and put me on a different list indefinitely as they had "unresolved issues with the ICB". I'd had enough so I went straight to the ICB and my GP as I was going back to university for my final year and had exercised all of my years of student loan, so this was my final chance to complete it. The ICB promptly responded and stated that they knew nothing of this and that RTN had no reason to say this. My impression was that they were just trying to push me to go private so they could get an extra £700 out of me. After the head of the ICB in my area got in contact with RTN, they quickly changed their tune and put me back on the medication pathway with an appointment for September 2025. I sent a formal complaint which they rejected and quoted the small print, with their loophole being the word "estimated 12 weeks". Titration was going well until my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and an appointment slipped my mind - I was preoccupied with supporting my family and forgot to communicate that I couldn't do the appointment that day. After getting back into contact with them, it took them approx a month to reply to my 4 emails after I called. They told me they would pass my request to remain on my dose and discharge me on, as it would be my final appointment before being discharged on that dose. Instead of doing this, I recieved an email to say I'd been discharged from the service before my final appointment due to inconsistency and no shows. To be clear, I missed ONE appointment which I don't deny, but given my circumstances, I thought they would have a bit of empathy, but after this whole process I don't think they have any at all. They have no understanding that people seeking help are often disabled and struggle with administration, and they make it unecessarily difficult to a) get a response in the first place, and b) get any help. Please avoid them and go to any other provider. They don't care about their patients or their wellbeing.
