Rubens was absolutely incredible, as all of the reviews already state! If you are curious and thinking about doing this, do it, it was amazing. From the minute we met I felt at ease, comfortable and relaxed. Ruben has a great way of making you feel in control even if you take more control during the session, it was beautiful from start to finish and I loved it. I came away from the experience feeling so empowered and grounded into what I enjoy, and what I want with future connections. He is a beautiful person inside and out and every woman deserves this. I had a beautiful and deeply nourishing experience with Rubens.

What touched me most was not only his professionalism, but the genuine presence and intention he brings into his work. You can feel that for him, this is not just a service, but something he really cares about and lives from within. There is a natural warmth and attentiveness in the way he holds space, which made it very easy for me to feel safe, relaxed, and fully received.

The eye-gazing ritual before the massage created a moment of real connection and presence, where I felt invited to slow down and settle into the moment. It didn’t feel like something performed, but something that naturally unfolded when both people allow themselves to be present.

His touch is incredibly sensitive, intuitive, and deeply relaxing. At the same time, there is a beautiful balance between sensuality and care, which made the whole experience feel very respectful and grounded.

I had my first session with Rubens at an event, and even though it lasted only 30 minutes, it was incredibly healing.
Before the treatment, I felt triggered and worried. When I saw him massaging my friend, I was suddenly thrown back to a moment in my past when I experienced abuse by a professional years ago. Before my session, I shared my concerns with Rubens. He answered all my questions very professionally and the treatment started in such a gentle and caring way that I immediately felt safe and embraced.
The treatment itself helped me process the abuse. Something shifted deeply within me. Right after the session, I told a friend about what I had suffered years ago - it was the first time I had ever said it out loud.
That first treatment with Rubens helped me heal a part of me, and I'm extremely grateful for it.

Yesterday I had a second session, and once again it was an amazing and profound experience.
It feels like his hands see you - they sense exactly what you need and gently give it to you.

Fantastic massage, Rubens knows what he’s doing and the energy he gives is incredible. He makes you feel immediately at ease and relaxed and you leave the session feeling like a godess.

A profoundly disappointing experience with practitioner Rubens Abreu (x5) sessions resulting in deeply destabilising outcomes.

I entered working with this practitioner in good faith as a disability and vulnerability client seeking standard level trauma-informed emotionally responsible ‘trauma dynamics’ care. I was aware this practitioner is not formally trained in trauma care and we agreed that trauma therapy would be with a trauma trained professional. It was ‘human care’ that I needed and he assured me his overall approach would be very personalised, responsive and centered on my needs. When I raised concerns about emotional safety, mutual boundaries and the impact of his behaviour and expectations that compromised my own growth and progress what followed was not adaptation or repair — it was withdrawal, defensiveness, and ultimately termination of the professional relationship by TEXT message.

This is a practitioner who claims to provide empowerment to women with histories of power and control issues including survivors of sexual trauma. The inability to apply feedback, make changes, remain caring and steady under stress, frustration or inconvenience is not a minor issue. It is a fundamental incompetence.

Eventually my emails were read after much persistence from myself and there was no meaningful acknowledgment of impact. Instead, a total lack of constructive solutions except for ending contact and my finding support elsewhere. No apology. No sustained effort to resolve the rupture. Communication was shut down rather than worked through. Follow-up communication seeking clarification and responsible handling of care going forward went unanswered. The experience was cruel, hurtful and disrespectful and left me feeling disempowered rather than supported or empowered.

This practitioner may present well in short-term or uncomplicated contexts. Intimacy and depth work require emotional maturity, relational awareness, responsibility and the capacity for course correction. In my experience, these capacities were not demonstrated when it mattered most.

I have already provided extensive feedback directly and I will not debate this publicly. Mr Rubens Abreu has my contact details should he wish to take genuine responsibility and pursue resolution privately.

My response to the practitioner response below is that if you genuinely understand that endings and specifically model adherence resulting in the withdrawal of emotionally safe care and connection can be painful for the vulnerably connected/attached you would not have conducted your practice the way that you have here. You would have accepted the necessary disability reasonable adjustments to ensure access rights to your service for human connection. The practitioner was not aware of how uncomfortable stressed and under strain I was due to his dominance and lack of awareness of his own impact on me. This boundary reset was not taking place within the in-person session time as he was repeating the same mistakes despite my attempts to get through and so I was attempting to reset the boundaries through the text relationship in preparation for the next in-person session so it would be a better more comfortable experience for myself. I had no choice but to take total responsibility for my experience or experience harmful over exertion. I gave plenty of feedback at every point. In my view the emotional intelligence to learn and apply adaptations was not present and instead his inflexibility led to the increasingly frustrating situation.

I was refunded for sessions that were booked in the diary in advance as I should be. The practitioner had already made the decision to terminate the support relationship and had informed me by text when a session was arranged and a Iist made by myself of issues to discuss upon his request. My request for a proportionate refund for sessions already paid for with a combination of correction was not taken seriously. I had to push for 50% off any follow-up call which he said would be a listening call only and I explained this would not work for me if no relational correction would be possible. As part of any follow up call, I would have to commit to not leaving a negative review in writing. I explained that this solution would not serve any restorative purpose for me and I declined the offer and sought clarification as to how he would be proceeding going forward with regards to handling me with responsibility and care. He did not respond to this message requesting clarification leaving me with no choice but to write a negative review.

The practitioner should contact me directly as specified above with regards to a closing session.

This was an experience of deep presence, trust, and discovery. Rubens holds a space that feels safe, clean, and profoundly respectful, while guiding you gently to the edges of pleasure you may be curious to explore.

His work honours the female body with sensitivity and intuition, creating not just immense pleasure but empowerment and connection. I left feeling more embodied, confident, and at ease in myself and have kept that feeling for days after our session.

I would recommend Rubens to any woman seeking a conscious, sensual experience. He is a beautiful soul inside and out.

There are parts of my body and soul that I didn’t even know about before! NEVER in million years I’d thought I’d go for this type of massage. Yet, I’ve been back and will be again (hopefully:). I’m a very private, awkward 39y/o, uncomfortable in my own skin - wouldn’t dare to go for a swim without a hoodie - lol, but Rubens made me feel at ease straight away the second he opened the door. I can’t explain it. I don’t know whether it helps or hinders that he is so hot, but he is also very friendly, kind, calm and professional, there is nothing without consent and the sessions just felt so amazing. Rubens is clearly passionate about providing the best experience and care and it shows. 15/10 recommend and a massive, genuine THANK YOU!:)

An experience worth having! Rubens has a kind and empathetic soul, he works with you to deliver your needs and is absolutely beautiful inside and out.
