Would not recommend this company to my enemy stay well clear!!!!
Ordered a product costing well over £1000 on 20/1/26, estimated delivery date on site stated it would be delivered for 10/2/26 perfectly in time for valentines day, but to my disappointment never would that happen, in fact by 18/3/26 when i eventually got tired of waiting my item that had still not arrived and had no date of when it would indeed arrive, i requested a refund, now today 16/4/26 i still have not received my refund and apparently there is no estimated time for when i will receive it!! All in all happy to take your money, not give you your desired product, and happy to keep your money.
Would not recommend this company to my enemy, stay well clear!!!!

Don’t waste your time. Report to your bank for a refund or you’ll wait months for nothing! I waited 3 months with every email saying the same thing.
Buy from PEORA, they have the same jewellery but my ring come within 2.5 weeks.

I strongly advise against shopping with Ruby&Oscar. My experience with them and their customer service has been unacceptable. I ordered a ring on 1st of February. The item was labeled as fast delivery. On 19th I asked an update and on 24th they said they don't know what happened or they couldn't give any date of delivery. So I decided to cancel my order. On 11th of March they confirmed the cancellation. After 14days of legal period I asked again an update about my refund. Again they said they don't know the date of the refund. Unfortunately the company is not trustworthy if not a scam. It looks like I have to follow the legal advice. So please avoid! I was waiting planning a nice surprise for my partner and right now I couldn't get the gift or my money back!

Returned an item with this company. The item itself took weeks to arrive, far longer than the initial date given. I’ve now waited 28 business days for my refund despite their policy stating the customer will be refunded within 10 working days.
Much like the item arriving incredibly late, the companies response has simply been. We are working on the refund and cannot give a time frame… great. Simply not good enough to keep customers money.

Seither bleibt die Lieferung (Ware nicht lieferbar) aus und eine Rückvergütung wurde in Aussicht gestellt, jedoch nie getätgit. Auf etliche Anfragen wird immer ohne Festlegung geantwortet. Auf meinen Wunsch nach einer Lieferung eines anderen Schmuckstückes im gleichen Wert wird nicht eingegangen. Auf meine Frage, ob sich die Firma in Zahlungsschwierigkeiten befindet, wird ebenfalls nicht eingegangen. Ich vermute dies. Zukünftigen Interessenten rate ich, keine Zahlungen zu tätigten, bevor man die Ware nicht erhalten hat. Wir werden demnächst einen Anwalt einschalten müssen. E-Mails werden auch immer extrem zeitverzögert (wenn überhaupt) beantwortet. Das Ganze wirkt sehr unseriös.

Our refund request is still outstanding since mid February 26. The bank are now handling it so fingers crossed. This relates to order placed 5th January. They should not be allowed to trade it they cannot supply the goods ordered

We got a message in February to say the product was not available
5 months later we are still receiving apologies. The money was taken out immediately, but still no refund.
At this stage, this matter has been passed to our solicitor.

bad service, trustpilot score lies, 3M+ late on refund, no phone
Very frustrating experience, ordered two items for xmas present, arrived late and had to return one as too small & misadvertized. Still waiting for return of payment in April, sent back first week of January. Got an acknowledgement of receipt in the 2nd week of March, 2 months later saying expect the money in your account in 14 days. Still not arrived 27 days later. Can't call, never answer, says leave a message but phone doesnt take messages.Worst company ever. I'll try my bank, any legal avenue open to me and if need be join any class action law suite any of the many other people complaining on trust pilot. I dont exprect a reply, if I get one it will be AI generated, I also won't appear on their website as a recent comment where they still say:
1. How Ruby & Oscar replied to negative reviews in the past 12 months. Typically replies to negative reviews in 1 week or less. Has replied to 90% of their negative reviews.
2. Claim average score of 3.5 stars from 7,777 reviews, but shows a bar graph of 98%+ 5star reviews. Go on trustpilot and they have flurries of 5 star in the summer and nov dec (provbably AI scams) but nothing but 1 star in Feb Mar & April.
Long long long wait with Ruby & Oscar
My experience with Ruby & Oscar is really bad. I ordered a necklace for the birthday of my wife, with an expected delivery of January 5th. However I did not receive it. I asked several times for a new expected delivery date, but they could not give one. In March I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. The refund would be made within 14 calendar days. However, I am still waiting after more than 14 days.
In the meanwhile I bought a necklace from another store. I did not want to let my wife wait any longer for her birthday present. Luckily she really likes the alternative necklace.

I placed an order with Ruby & Oscar on 17th March (Order #505720286) with an estimated delivery date of 31st March, and I am still waiting with no meaningful update.
Since placing the order, I have received no communication beyond an automated email. I’ve tried contacting them multiple times via email, phone, and live chat, but have had no success whatsoever. There appears to be no reliable way to actually speak to someone, which is incredibly frustrating.
This purchase was for a special occasion, and I am now left completely in the dark with no idea if or when it will arrive. What’s even more concerning is that there is no clear or transparent process on their website for cancelling an order or requesting a refund.
The lack of communication, poor customer service, and absence of basic contact options are unacceptable. At this point, I would either like my order expedited immediately or cancelled with a full refund—but I cannot even get a response to make that happen.
I am posting this review in the hope that the company will finally respond and provide clarity on my order.

Purchased bracelet 18 March, with a promised delivery of the 24th March.
We are now on the 8th April, I have had no communication from the company despite several emails. I am going to have to cancel the transaction and try and reclaim my money.

Second TIME Bitten
Unfortunately this is the second time Ruby and Oscar have let me down. I should have known better.
This latest order was placed on the 18 February which had an estimated delivery of March 12th in time for our 50th anniversary on the 20th March. Several emails back and forth with no outcome. As of 8 April there is still no time frame for delivery or the £400 plus refund that I have requested. Do I start legel action or just contact my credit card provider! Or perhaps have a word with trading standards.
If this company does not stock the items they advertise for sale there should be a warning on their website or they should not sell them or take the full value upfront. Will not get bitten again.
4 months and no refund- shop elsewhere
4 months since I returned an unwanted necklace and still this company seems unwilling/ incapable of providing a refund. They do provide glib responses each week letting me know they understand my frustration and are working to provide a resolution....but don't actually do anything. This company is a disgrace- I may have been scammed but hope that no other individual makes the same mistake. Buy elsewhere.
Incredibly poor service.
Ordered a product in January with a delivery date indicated. Fine. Followed up when it was late. Was told it would be longer still… chased again a few weeks later, nothing! Chased again and offered a partial refund for inconvenience… accepted if the product could be delivered, but they said they couldn’t commit to this. Requested a full refund and was told it would be 14 calendar days… 20 days later, nothing! This is completely unacceptable and needs to be dealt with. People should be aware of this so as not to fall into the same trap.
