Wow Wow Wow what an amazing retreat the Alps Trail Running Retreat is. Can not recommend it enough. Beautiful place, beautiful food, beautiful people.

Runner Retreats' Loughborough Performance Weekend
I attended to Runner Retreats' performance weekend at Loughborough University and it was fantastic.
The course was fully engaging, well coached and well organised. All the timings were spot on and the information shared was incredibly interesting. The theory was backed up with practical drills to tune up your running.
It was also definitely for everyone, not an elite athlete practise session. There was a great range of abilities/paces and you could take away as much as you wanted from the sessions, be it a casual runner who wants to understand a bit about the mechanics or a seasoned pro who wants to learn how to shift their threshold.
I will definitely put in some practise using the drills/techniques learned and will sign up to some more physiology testing to see my progress.
Inspiring weekend
Great weekend, can't recommend enough. The coaches really know their stuff and are very good at passing on and building knowledge. The format of the days was a good mx of physical work and class learning. Loughborough University is also an inspiring location.
The follow up material is perfect to allow me to put what I learnt into practice.
The perfect Performance weekend
Already being coached by NLC I know just how professional, knowledgeable and bloody amazing they are.. but this weekend was another level.
From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I was treated like a friend not a consumer.. The knowledge imparted was invaluable and I can’t wait to put things into practice!! I’m particularly looking forward to the results of the lactate testing to boost my training plan!!
Don’t just think these weekends are for elites.. I’m a passionate plodder and got so much out of it!!

Absolutely best money I have ever…
Absolutely best money I have ever spent. Great coaches with diverse expertise and good balance between practical and theoretical content. I have read alot of content and have a training plan already but the workshop made me really think my training plan, race strategy and nutrition plan. Post workshop purchasing the tailored training plan as well. I am a newbie to running but quite active and still felt content was enlightening and super valuable from both a running and general fitness/wellness perspective.
Runner Retreat Morzine…simply brilliant!
I’ve just returned from The Runner Retreats Morzine week (having previously enjoyed the Performance weekend in Loughborough) and I would definitely recommend these retreats/weekends to anyone who loves running! Such fun, with lovely positive people, really inclusive (I’m somewhat old and slow but that didn’t matter at all), excellent training, a simply gorgeous location and fantastic food. One of the best holidays I’ve ever been on and very inspirational.
My week in Morzine with Runner Retreats…
My week in Morzine with Runner Retreats was perfection. Gemma, Lewis and team are an absolute delight and I learned lots of training tips. The food and the views exceeded expectations, which were high, and everyone who attended was lovely. Whether you are just starting out as a runner or you want to push yourself to the next level, Runner's Retreat Morzine is the best!
Brilliant trail running weekend
I went into the trail running weekend with some trepidation as I'm mainly a (slow) road runner and I was carrying an injury too. I needn't have worried - the coaches were brilliant and went out of their way to give me advice and make sure I got as much out of it as possible (which was a lot). I learnt so much, met lovely people and didn't feel out of place at all.
Amazing weekend!
I have just got back from the Peak District trail camp and can honestly say it was an amazing weekend!
I learnt a lot about trail running, nutrition and running in general. The runs we did were just absolutely stunning and super inclusive so no worry at all about pace. I can't fault the coaches, they are all incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you might have!
I genuinely can't recommend it enough and I can't wait to book another runner retreat event!
Trail Running camp Peak District 2924
This was the second time I have attended the Peak Trail Camp. Great location. Great coaches and sessions were all appropriate for the level. I am not fast and never felt isolated or left behind. The team were knowledgeable and really got involved. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Looking forward to the Lake District event in October.
Truly unforgettable
I have just attended the Peak District Trail Camp and I can honestly say the weekend surpassed all my expectations. It was incredibly well organised with a great variety of sessions led by amazing coaches who ensured everyone felt included whatever their running abilities. I have learnt so much, met interesting people and gained confidence in tackling steep hills. I would recommend Runner Retreats to any runner - whether you are at the start of your running journey or you are more experienced the trail camp will no doubt broaden your horizons and boost your confidence.
Peak District runners retreat
Can't recommend them enough. Learnt loads of really useful stuff about trail running... nutrition, navigation, technique, warm-ups, strength exercises... loads of stuff. But really what wins it for me were the people. Right from the welcome brief it was made clear that the coaching team were doing this because they wanted to give a bit of their positive experiences of running back to anyone who wanted it, regardless of level. We were actively encouraged to run at our own pace and explicitly told to leave our egos at the door. The principal of inclusivity was central to the whole weekend; It was all about mutual support and encouragement, and their passion for this idea was infectious. Everyone there embraced this principle. Brilliant weekend with brilliant people. Do it.
Highly recommend for all runners regardless of pace.
Despite me being a steady plodder running wise, this weekend never made me feel left behind. The coaching team made all the learning easily accessible to us all. Their experience and expertise was coupled with a very down to earth attitude and a belief that we could all do what we needed to... And they were right 👍 Everyone was supported to continue on their own personal running journey no matter how lowly or lofty their goals. My confidence in my own abilities has grown immensely. Can't praise this team enough. Thankyou ❤️
Peak District Trails Camp
Just back from my 1st ever dive into the world of trail running, and despite being a road runner, I knew nothing about trails and was worried if a whole weekend camp as a newbie and solo traveller would be too much, but I needn't have worried as there was content for everyone of all abilities and everyone was so friendly, so will be looking to book more trail adventures with Runner Retreats in future 😀
Nervous, don’t be! It’s awesome, supportive & friendly
I thoroughly enjoyed my first ever Trail Running Camp. I was a bit nervous about going on my own, and, although I can walk/hike all day clocking up the miles, I’m not the quickest runner, especially up the inclines! I was anxious about this, but I didn’t need to be. The team were supportive, welcoming, approachable and friendly from the first communication before arriving, to the goodbye debrief at the end. They have a great ethos, to leave no-one behind, and this is genuine. I learnt strength and conditioning exercises, & uphill & downhill running techniques, which do help, and I will continue to apply those when running. It was also great to meet others who joined the retreat. We all were like minded people who encouraged and supported each other. I would recommend Runner Retreats. Go on! Go with your instinct and do it!

I’d give them 10 stars if I could. Attended the Peak District trail camp after much deliberation worrying about whether I’d be quick enough, strong enough etc etc but honestly what am amazing experience and group of people. Everyone is included and catered for and the knowledge that you pick up is incredibly useful. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
Running Reatreats for all types of runners. Slow or Fast.
I have now been to two different workshop days as well as the Trail running camp in the Peak District. I can't recommend this company enough. They make the days so inclusive for every type of runner, it doesn't matter how slow or fast you are, they cater for all.
I always learn something on each retreat. The team make you feel so welcomed and they treat you like family. They always help to get the best out of everyone.

My 2nd workshop and once again brilliant from start to finish. Met some inspiring individuals of all ages on the course. Very informative day provided by very knowledgable coaches. Well worth my 340mile round trip to attend.👍🏃♂️
