They dont care about stealing money from customers...…
I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with Activision that has left me frustrated and dissatisfied. After purchasing the Vault Edition of a game, which came with a hefty 30 euro premium for a season pass, I encountered a major issue. Despite paying extra for access to the season content, I found myself unable to play Season 1 due to a game-breaking error.
Seeking assistance, I reached out to their customer support, providing clear video evidence demonstrating the problem. To their credit, they acknowledged the issue, confirming it was a fault within the game itself and not related to my PC or settings. They assured me that the matter would be escalated to their senior team for resolution.
However, that's where the transparency ended. Despite multiple inquiries and follow-ups, I received no updates or resolutions. As Season 1 came to an end, I naturally questioned whether I would receive a refund or compensation for the season I effectively paid for but couldn't access. Disappointingly, my requests were brushed aside, with vague assurances that the senior team was still "working on it."
With the start of Season 2, I dared to hope for some form of restitution. Yet, once again, my queries were met with silence or generic responses that failed to address my concerns. Even as the second season drew to a close, there was no sign of compensation or even acknowledgment of the inconvenience I endured.
Feeling increasingly frustrated and ignored, I considered drastic measures, including filing a police report to initiate a chargeback through my bank. It's disheartening to be in a position where recourse through official channels seems necessary to reclaim what was essentially stolen – 30 euros for a season of content that I never received.
In conclusion, my experience with Activision has been marred by poor communication, lack of accountability, and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. It's a shame that a company of such stature would prioritize profits over the trust and loyalty of its customers.
