Never receive a complete order and always missing several items. Can't even deliver basic vegetables and the ones I'm lucky to receive are short dated. Drivers are miserable and unfit with their huff... Ver mais

I would not recommend! at all

I have tried several times with online shopping from here but each time I have had orders with missing items, damaged items, breads/meats that were on the sell by date the day delivered, dented cans, 1 banana when ordered a bunch, a comedy of errors . I didn't know about substitutes and did not check the box and was alarmed that they had simply taken more funds from my bank to pay for the more expensive alternatives I had been sent, luckily I was able to cover the charge and did not incur bank charges. It really seems like someone with zero care about your products has chose your shopping and the delivery although timely is overly expensive and crude, very cheap bags often tied so they can be of no further use, unintelligent packing, all in all just get a taxi and pick your own!

So sainsburys' short use by date policy…

So sainsburys' short use by date policy is that items later than 2 days use by from the date of delivery don't qualify for a refund. This means that they can get rid of stock with short use by dates without worrying about refunds to customers who, had they shopped at a store, would have chosen a much longer use by date. I have to shop online as I have mobility problems. I now have 4 items delivered today that I must freeze if they aren't to exceed the use by date. I knew there was a reason why I'd not shopped at Sainsburys for over 12 months. Back to Ocado I go.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICES
Had 4 missing items and some of the vegetables were rotten. Called customer services who were unapologetic and rude. I have spent a lot of money on Sainsburys' deliveries and every time there's an issue. No more - will be ordering with Tesco and Amazon Fresh who are so much better. I would not recommend Sainsburys. Furthermore, no benefits for existing customers and all the money off deals are for new customers.

I DID NOT GET REFUND FOR MISSED ,DELIVERY ,SO YOU CAN PAY WITH MY ALTERNATE PAY PLAN WITH 1000% INTEREST, KEEP THE BAD WORK UP SAINSBURY, MESSED WITH THE WRONG GUY YOU STEEL MY MONEY, OK YOU CAN PAY BACK 1000 TIMES MORE.

Disgraceful company

I received a text on the morning of my delivery saying it was on its way. 40 minutes before it was due I received an email saying they were trying to contact me but I had no missed calls. I rang them and was informed that they had cancelled my order and blocked my account. Despite two twitter chats, 3 emails that they have ignored and 3 phone calls I still have no idea why. They have treated me like I have done something wrong when all I did was order some shopping! They confirmed there was no problem with the payment....in fact they still have my money!! I have now written to them advising them that them taking my money constitutes an acceptance of the contract between us and they have breached that contract. If they didn’t want my custom (although no idea why) they only had to say rather than cancelling my order and banning me! Communication is awful, staff are rude when I phone and no-one can explain why they have treated me so unfairly.

Not surprised by all these terrible reviews…

Today was the last time we order with them.
- they don't stick to the delivery windows,
- drivers are doorbell crazy,
- the substitutions are a joke,
- food is often a day or so from expiry

Bad handling - i.e., if you order flowers, expect the worst

The van drove past my door,…

I ordered a delivery for Feb 1st but of course it snowed, I had a message from Sainsbury's to say that my order would not be delivered, And then I had another message asking me to ring an 0800 number to arrange another delivery which I did and the delivery is now expected Sunday 3rd Feb 2019, Within an hour I saw a Sainsbury's van go past my door, I rang Sainsbury's and the person on the other end told me that it was not doing deliveries, I disputed this and then the assistant told me she was going to ring the store concerned, After a couple minutes she came back to to me and confirmed that the van I saw was on deliveries, Someone who works at the store concerned, ( Taunton ) who has a brain the size of a pea decided that because the roads had improved and they had drivers that they would start delivering AFTERNOON ORDERS, which to my mind is back to front, I am disabled and cannot do very much so this morning my 83 year old wife had to get a lift to get bread of which we were out and milk which would not last till sunday just because someone decided that the van could drive past my house and not bring my order but come back again on sunday, Well that will be the last time, BYE BYE Sainsburys.

Shame I can not give a zero star…

What a complete waste of my time and Sainsbury's time I ordered seven items on sale promo.
From plastic clip lock containers to a kettle. All in stock! Unfortunately only 2 items arrived as all others were out of stock.
Well they were in stock when I placed the order so who's fault is it that they are out of stock now? What a complete cock up.
About time you sorted your business out maybe Asda will help you? You're a bunch of incompetent halfwits. You customers service team are as bad as your online ordering service. The answer I got from them was "Well that's the way it is unfortunately"
Really? Why leave the order for three days before picking it? It's not like it's fresh produce. This was the second and last time I will used Sainsbury online. First order was cancelled by Sainsbury's as they cocked up the price of an item and did not honour the price.

First and last online order

First order placed on line and will not be repeating it. Ordered Bagels which were in date for all of 2.5 hours after I received them. Sent poor substitutes for 2 throws I ordered. Roughly 12 phone calls later I now have a refund. A frustrating experience. I would have given 1 star but online call takers and customer service call takers were not rude. Just they were all singing from different hymn sheets and I now know the words to Sainsburys signature tune which I've listened to repeatedly whilst on hold!!!!

Poor delivery service, again!
Do not put salad items in the same bag as raw chicken!
Stop putting the bread in with heavy items that squash it!
Bag all of the shopping, as paid for, not half of it!

21 ITEMS MISSING!

21 ITEMS MISSING! And no bags although I always pay 40p for them. This is about the 20th time this has happened. The driver just tips all my groceries into my hallway and I have to carry them though after putting them in my own shopping bags. I am an old person and find it hard to manage.

If Sainsburys don't want to supply plastic bags then why don't they supply tough paper bags?

I haven't been able to have breakfast today because they did not have my yogurt in stock AGAIN. I spend £350 per month in Sainsburys and have the receipts to prove it. I have just cancelled my subscription for deliveries and will be using TESCO in future.

Dreadful service

Dreadful service. Delivery didn't arrive, no one thought to call. Apparently they can't read the phone number on the system. Seriously unimpressed. Morrison's are a million times better.

Avoid. Food already out of date on delivery.

They will always palm off the least fresh food onto online customers. My Christmas delivery was 20 Dec. The use-by date on the eggs was 18 Dec. They have always been a bit useless, with bags of salad arriving all soggy and half gone off, but these were clearly already out of date when delivered.
To rub it in a bit, they sent me an email just before delivery, telling me how "As always, we’ve picked the freshest items with the longest use by dates".. so rather a dishonest bunch as well.

My Christmas online food order arrived - the majority of 'shelf life' foods were WITHIN 3 days of the sell by/eat by dates and the meat ordered for Christmas day had a use by date of 23rd December
Will never be able to trust Sainsbury's again

Terrible experience...again!

Really terrible for online shopping in my area of SN9. They are forever running out of basic stuff and make excuses all the time. They cut corners and are very unhelpful. When you phone they are full of excuses and don't resolve the problem. Today was the last time I will ever use Sainsbury's, back to Tesco I go. Get your act together!!

WARNING WARNING

Do not use Enfield Sainsburys in Crown Road off the A10 it is the worse branch going for everything, I use to work there (see one of my other posts on here) and I said I could say about other things about the branch, well I've decided to say, I have already said it's run by fools and its got hygiene matters ie: rats in the goods in yard and the on line delivery loading bay, the totes(boxes the shopping gets put in) are never cleaned unless they are really dirty then only washed out with a hose, out of date or very short dated food gets delivered, drivers smoking in the vans (which there not supposed to do), please do not use this branch for anything stay away.
Please note this is genuine information.I hope the CEO of Sainsburys sees this or is he as blind and ignorent to know what goes on in his stores all these negative reviews can't be all lies, in fact looking at the posative ones they look more like the lies TBH.

Maybe I've been lucky

Maybe I've been lucky, but I've been getting Sainsburys to deliver for years and they've always been excellent. Yes there is the occasional replacement of something I ordered, but I discovered Herby sausages that way :-)
The drivers are always friendly, the food is always great. I've tried out them all and stuck with Sainsburys.
I'm happy to give them 5 out of 5 stars.
